The food was great as it usually is. But the problem at this particular Melting Pot is in the management. Ate here a few weeks ago on a Sunday. Long story short, we were overcharged by 104 dollars! The bill was supposed to be split, and it was, but in addition I was also charged again for the full price of the meal. I called Monday and was told not to worry, that it is a pre-authorization type deal and restaurant protocol, and if there are any problems he would take care of it. I SHOULD HAVE WORRIED. My credit card charged for what it shouldnt have been charged and was on there all week. I called back Friday to speak to what I consider the most unprofessional, non-customer oriented manager ever. Mike is his name. He told me that he was too busy to deal with my problem and he would deal with it later. Who says that to a customer at a restaurant as nice and reputable as this?? I was livid and told him this was an issue that needs to get resolved now. He refused. I gave him my number and he said he would call back that night when things were fixed. He also kept saying "IF you were overcharged". -IF- Like im lying or something. He never called, never put it through that night, and never let me know of any status. I called again Saturday, prepared to call the police as well as Melting Pot Corporate. This restaurant took over 100 bucks from me and were not assuring me I would get it back! After my call Saturday, I talked to a different manager who assured me that it went through this morning and I will see the money back in my account in a few days. Thanks for letting me know this Mike! Thanks! After a week + I finally get my own money back to me. No apologies or anything was offered to me for this mistake. I am now making it my goal to report that manager to Melting Pot HQ, BBB, etc.

My girlfriend and I decided to give The Melting Pot a try on her bosss recommendation, and I have to do the same after spending the evening here. The food, service, and the ambiance are all well worth the price of their four course meal, which is what we tried. The food was all very good, with plenty of options to try between two of us, as well as a very good wine selection. Gluten-free and vegetarian accommodations are also available, and quite tasty to boot. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, keeping our meal progressing in a timely manner without ever rushing us or being absent for too long. The restaurant itself is laid out in a somewhat confusing way (I got lost on my way to the restroom twice), however its tasteful decor and music selection were quite pleasing, and the booths are quite comfortable. As far as I could tell, private booths are also available for those who are looking for a more private dining experience. If you do plan on dining here, be aware that a meal can take 2-3 hours and plan accordingly. Enjoy!

The Melting Pot is more of an experience than a restaurant. I dont always want to go to an upscale restaurant and cook my own food, but when I do, Im going here. The cheese and chocolate fondue are all amazing. Who doesnt like cheese and chocolate? As for the main course, depending on your taste, you can pick some various cooking styles and all are good. I personally like the mojo as it is more flavorful than some of the others. It does take some practice cooking in a fondue pot and I was much better the second time than the first. This is worth mentioning because I can foresee someone boiling the ever-loving McShizzle out of their tenderloin and maybe not liking it so much. TL;DR - Great for romantic dinner or dining with friends when you want to take your time, chat, and eat a bunch of courses.

Our experience for our annual birthday ritual went as planned here. Tyler was an excellent waiter. We dined here for dinner the place was great up until the point when Tyler accidentally dropped a glass bowl and broke it. It was definitely an accident but another employee made a huge seen and started making Tyler look bad calling him a rookie in front of us and four other full tables. It was the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen at a work place in my life. And the taller gentlemen kept continuing to persist on making Tyler look bad for at least 15 minutes. He kept announcing to customers "hes a rookie" in such a demeaning manor and it was unnerving and ruined our birthday dinner. We were so upset and we will never be dining there again, even if the food was free.

It was the first time for me to visit this restaurant and I could not help but notice the pleasant atmosphere, the soothing colors all around the place, and the nice touch of privacy considered in the seating arrangements. This is a fondue restaurant with varieties of entrees, vegetables, salads and delicious sauces for you to create your own meal based on the menu. They have wines, cocktails, beers and their own happy hours. Everything was fresh and of good quality. One can order the four course meal or choose otherwise based on personal preferences. They also have a kids menu. The service is great and for the people who like fondue this is a wonderful experience. You can also buy their gift card.

A horrible experience and will never frequent this location again. Started with the front end manager. The guy seemed so put out that we asked for a double burner for our group of four. They were not even busy. Then, my wife got squirted with lemon juice by the waitress. And a bit later, I got an entire tray of ice water poured down my back mid-meal. The same front end manager came to apologize and told me he would "be able to take a little off the bill". Once our bill arrived, he gave us $25 off. He was unprofessional and rude. Also, it took way too long for our food to come out when we asked for more.

This is a dining experience. Dont expect to have a full meal and leave quickly. Everything is made at the table so it takes time. We had the four course meal and it took 2 1/2 hours. It came with cheese fondue, salad, an entrée course and a dessert course. Everything was very fresh and flavourful. We had the gluten free menu items. I appreciated the lengths the staff went to to make sure the food was safe for someone with celiac. The staff were friendly and the manager even stopped by a couple of times. We will most likely return.
