Bottom line up front: its genuinely good, one of my favorites. The food is well prepared with generous portions, and is better than 90% of any other take-out Ive ever tried, even rivaling a hosted restaurant. I have been going to United China for over twenty years, a couple times a month for a tasty lunch or dinner treat, and this is the standard I compare other Asian restaurants to. The place is located in a small plaza where businesses come and go, and is the only one that has stood the test of time. The eat-in portion is spacious and relatively quiet, with about eight tables which are kept clean. They deliver, but Ive never used that service. The menu is the familiar big sheet with lunch specials and special combination dinners. The staff speak English well and will make it really spicy if asked. They are particularly good at Chicken with Broccoli, General Tsos Chicken, and Singapore Mei Fun, and out of probably hundreds of orders, I cant ever remember finding fault with even one. This is the first restaurant review Ive ever written, but after many years of great meals this place is my personal all-time favorite and I felt United China deserved some credit! Enjoy.

Food: Ordered the beef and broccoli and the almond chicken. The beef and broccoli wasnt very tasty and the sauce didnt compliment it very well. The almond chicken was terrible, it was basically rubbery meat with almonds floating around in the dish. Menu: Very extensive menu with many options Atmosphere: Not sit in friendly, dirty and only plastic utensils. Service: Quick, but once you get food you wont see them again as they seem to be take out oriented. Overall not very good food and dont ever dine in.

Rating a 4 because this is probably the best Chinese food available in the area, but not outstanding all together. I usually get the sesame chicken or general Tsos chicken with fried rice which both are pretty good. My wife usually orders noodles, but she says its a give or take. Some days they are decent, others they are onder cooked or over flavored. We love to get dumplings at other Chinese restaurants, but the ones here werent all that impressive.

I have been searching of a Chinese place in Watertown that could satisfy my tastebuds, (and my Husbands).. After time and again of finding crap-tacular Chinese food, we decided to try United China.. Wow... Soooooo Glad i did.. I almost gave up on Chinese food. Delivery time was good, we forgot to order something and it was no problem for them to make sure we got it with delivery.. Next time I order Im calling these guys!!! :D

I have an obsession with fried dumplings. There are many, many Chinese places all over the Watertown area, but I knew I didnt have to search any longer when I found United China. They have the BEST dumplings around - not to mention the best tasting sesame chicken. The food is always cooked fresh. The quality speaks for it self. I highly recommend this restaurant!

It is the best Chinese food not just in the area, but in upstate NY. The food is always hot, with plenty of flavor. The vegetables are hot and crisp white not being hard like Ive grown to expect. Their cheese wontons are amazing!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Fort Drum area! Their Orange Chicken / House Fried Rice special is the best I have ever had. Hit the slopes at Sugar Hill and then stop by United China for some dinner. It is awesome!

I had the chicken and garlic sauce, egg roll, and wonton soup. It was delicious, and very flavorful. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants their food taste the best. The wonton soup here is the best.

Ive eaten at most (probably all) of the Chinese take-out places in Watertown, and this was my least favorite. The food wasnt bad, but not great either. I dont think I will be back, there are better options.

The only thing I liked was the price. My food tasted overly salty and Ive had better general tso chicken elsewhere. I was hoping to find decent chinese food in Watertown but no luck yet.
