11/5 service, would ABSOLUTELY recommend. Please read this whole story, it will be worth it. My good ol buddy Renae decided to pick me up from my apartment in centerville at 12:30am on this lovely Sunday evening and we wanted burgers. We went to McDonalds because we thought it would be the only place open at such an hour. When we got there, we wanted to pull in to the drive thru backwards, just to be dumb teenagers and have fun. Renae attempted and failed to go in backwards, and cars were coming, so we pulled out, let the cars through, and turned back around to go in again. The car in front of us seemed to be all teenage boys occupying it, so naturally I dared Renae to talk to them. I told her to call out the window and ask them if we should go through the drive thru in reverse. She did, they said yes, she pulled out once more and tried to go in reverse. When she missed the entrance, Renae panicked and we sped away, leaving the potentially cute boys behind us, laughing hysterically the whole way. We drove around the block to be sure the teenage boys didnt see us to embarrass ourselves further, and pulled back into the McDonalds drive thru--this time successfully in reverse. We were greeted with a sassy, "Hello welcome to McDonalds, please pull through like a normal person or I will not serve you." At this point we were over McDs, and wanted to head home, when we drove past In & Out and saw it was open! Renae drove into the drive thru, we ordered our food, and here is where the fun begins. We pulled forward and there was another car in front of us. (Remember its approximately 12:50am at this time.) We waited for all of about 45 seconds when we heard a very loud pop coming from the car, and saw billows of smoke coming from under the hood. Renae and I looked at each other, maybe said a few expletives, and bolted from the car. If that thing was going to blow, I wasnt going to be anywhere near it. After bolting, I noticed some sort of liquid leaking from the vehicle, and got even more scared that it would blow. Renae called her father, we told the car behind us what was going on, and I walked up to the drive thru window to tell the workers was was going on as well. By this time, the smoking had stopped, the leaking had mostly stopped, and we still had the engine running. (Stupid, I know, but we just got outta there as fast as we could.) I caught the attention of someone inside, he smiled and gave me a thumbs up, and ran out of sight. Moments later, he and another employee were outside asking whats wrong. We told them what happened, and they were more than happy to tell us to get in the car, put it in neutral, and theyd push us out of the drive thru. They pushed us past the first window, and stopped at the second window. "We figured youd still want your food, so you can pay here and get it!" These 2 workers are angels sent from the heavens above. Here we are, 2 teenage girls trying to have an adventure late at night, stuck at In & Out 20 minutes before they close, and these incredible workers go above and beyond to not only save our butts but also make sure we get our food. So we get our food and they push us all the way out and into the parking lot, where they offered to let us "come inside where its safer," until our ride came. We chose to stay in our car, but I cannot express enough gratitude to these 2 men who saved us today. I dont know their names, but Im sure if you asked, theyd have a fun story like this one to tell. Also please give them a raise.

Came here to eat as I really like In-n-out burger as it is one of my favorite places to eat burgers and up till this place never a bad word. The place was very very clean and there was an employee cleaning the dining area the whole time I was there. The hour was late so there were only a few people in side but the drive up was staying busy. So here I come, order a double cheese w/fries and a drink, select a table and wait patiently for my order, get my food and it looks great plenty of fries burger smells greats employees smiling all the time and now... the fries were great. Burger not so great looked good but not cooked through so now Im disappointed and ate all around the out side where it was mostly cooked and chucked the rest. Ate the bum. My disappointment was not only the burger but the fact that I waited to get here to eat, first meal since breakfast and the end of a 305 mile drive... Will I be back? Yes. But next time I will have to look before diving in. Please Please cook the burgers till they are done I really dont mind waiting 3 or 4 minutes longer.

Customer service is exceptional, even for In N Out, which is always superb. On one visit, I came through the drive thru, and the employee spotted my toddler in the backseat and offered stickers for her. That wasnt something I never knew they had, I thought that was really considerate. And she loves them! Then, on todays visit, I actually went inside. Long story short, when I was getting my glass of water, the cup collapsed and water went everywhere! They were incredibly busy and crowded, and I felt terrible. instead of getting frustrated, one of the associates immediately told me, "Well get that cleaned up for you right away. Now can I get you another glass of water?" To me, that exuded exceptional customer service. Kudos to this location and their entire staff, who have consistently provided stellar customer service.

Clerk not the brightest; Not Vegetarian Friendly. Friends of mine wanted to try the famous In and Out Burger. I worried they wouldnt have a vegetarian option so when I went in the first thing I asked the clerk was if they had a veggie burger. He said yes. I asked him if they make the burger here or if they buy an outside brand. He said they make them in house. I was excited! I asked for grilled onions and he asked if I wanted it wrapped in lettuce. I thought sure, why not? Long story short, I paid $3.50 for lettuce and a tomato. Thats it! They didnt even remember the grilled onions. I asked someone else if they have a veggie burger, they said no. I should not have payed that much for a piece of lettuce and tomato. Who would? A veggie burger is a PATTY not lettuce. Clearly that clerk was not the brightest.

Slowest in-n-out in existence. Which I would understand if it was even close to the busiest one Ive been to, but its probably the least busy of all Ive experienced. To be fair my experiences are mostly California where they have existed longer but the wait time here is simply unacceptable. Im willing to pay more and wait slightly longer for a higher quality product but the wait / quality ratio isnt right here. Ive been 3 times at different times (peak and non peak hours) just to see if It was a specific time. I was disappointed each time. Never waited less than 15 min for food. That is from order to food, not counting waiting in line to order via lobby or drive thru. Not the quality I have come to expect from this chain.
