BBQ Brisket Soup should be what they call their meat entree here. Simmering an oven roasted brisket in a vat of sauce doesnt qualify as barbeque to me. And I say "oven roasted" because there wasnt the slightest hint of smoke flavor to the meat. The poor quality of the meat was enough for a bad review but the service set it back another notch. My coworker got his "light lunch" of 1/4 lb brisket a few minutes before me and when my 1/2 lb platter arrived I could obviously tell we had the same size. I pointed to my meat and asked the employee "This is a half pound?" He said "Yes" And then I pointed at my coworkers meat and said "This is a quarter pound?" Again, he said "Yes" without hesitation. The rest of the people at the table started snickering because it was blatantly obvious there was no difference. I didnt even want to write a review this long but I think Im especially upset because my stomach still hurts from the half gallon of BBQ sauce I ingested a couple hours ago. If I werent such a cheap skate I would have left it on the table.

Same old Stacy with his new place off of 7th ave. Staceys way or take the highway. Ordered brisket sandwich that was so greasy it immediately told me that the brisket was cooked off premise, wrapped in seran wrap and transported to the new location. Waitress asked what side I wanted without implying extra charge and when I questioned about the side when I got my bill, she said there were two sizes and assumed I would want the largest. Never mentioned the two sizes when taking my order. Was gonna order two meat plate with both meats being brisket and was told that aint gonna happen. Changed my order and price to the sandwich and with no one in the restaurant my waitress wasnt even phased. When Stacy was in that closet on 7th street I tried to order 3/4 lb of brisket but was told that it either came in 1/2 lb or 1 lb. Dont believe they had a clue on how to charge for 3/4 lb. And old Stacy cant figure out why he cant stay in one place past the rent being do.

I have been lamenting the loss of Kinfolks BBQ in Scottsdale for a long time now.. Loved their pulled pork sandwich with jerk flavored bbq sauce. I have been looking for a decent BBQ spot to bring friends to. Today, I tried out Stacys BBQ and I was pleased. I ordered their pulled pork sandwich and it was quite good. Their BBQ sauce was tasty. I do not know if there was an option to ask for any other sauces.. but I was ok with trying out their signature sauce for my first time there. I was in a hurry so I took it to go.. My sandwich was ready in about 6 minutes, packaged nicely and with napkins. Price was reasonable $5.75 after tax. The sandwich was nice and warm.. there were no bones.. I have no complaints. Though I still believe Kinfolks had them beat. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back.. and bring friends.

I ordered through eat24 which is run by yelp. I received my food order for delivery an hour and a half later. My food was cold and mushy and I was missing sides. I called the restaurant, the guy who answered argued with me about how he put the food I was missing in there and that he just made the food himself so it wasnt cold. One thing you should never do when it comes to dealing with an upset customer is argue with them. He put me on hold for 20 minutes while I sat on the other end of the phone listening to him chit chat and laugh. Very rude. The worst customer service I have ever received and the nasty mush I have ever eaten. My husband and I both work in the food industry and we will be telling EVERYONE WE KNOW to never eat here.

wow did I have a completely different experience from all these other people. The atmosphere is a dive, but I was here for the food so I didnt care. I did take a long time to order, but it wasnt crazy. To the food: I bought a full rack of beef ribs at 6:30 pm on Friday night. The ribs showed up and there were 6 bones. That wouldnt be a big deal but they were almost empty of meat. I have never in my 32 years seen a set of beef ribs with this small amount of meat. Not only were they short on meat but they were dried out and old. There is no way these ribs were from today. Terrible. terrible terrible. Wont be back.

Hmm ordered from this place twice, got there and the place looks like a dive inside and out, but put that behind me as I was curious about the food. Order a half chicken and rack of ribs, it was okay, small portions for the price. 2nd time needed ribs for party, ordered them over phone and the guy who answed was curt as though I was bothering him. Went and picked up ribs and young black lady pulls out her glock 9mm from counter to joke around with friened or boyfriend? Idk? But totally unprofessional in from of me. I ordered 5 racks of baby back ribs, they were dry as though they were cooked a day before.

Terrible food. The beef ribs were super salty, and they cost $5.50 PER RIB now. Their new menu doesnt even have a price for beef ribs, it says "Market Price," so the skys the limit on how much Stacy can charge for them. And they only accept cash, no credit cards, so bring plenty of $$$. The ribs were not smoky at all. I thought this place was called a "Smokehouse." Not the ribs I guess. The Mac N Cheese was from a Kraft box. The cheese biscuits were burned. The fried pickles werent fried, only dipped in raw cornmeal so they were gritty and dry. We wont be back.

Just met my husband there for lunch today ... not too impressed. Im giving it 2 stars only because their bbq sauce was good. We were the only ones in there when we arrived, and Stacy was standing at the counter ... no friendly welcome or hello. We both ordered the pulled chicken sandwiches, hush puppies and fries. Our sandwiches were full of bones, the hush puppies tasted like old oil, but the fries were good. If you dont mind picking bones out of your sandwiches, the flavor was good. Otherwise Id drive the extra few miles to Honey Bears BBQ on Central!

Pulled pork was not pulled more like cubed, and sauce was probably bottled at best and drizzled on chunks of "pulled pork", ordered two coleslaw cups and got one, and an order of fries, fries were limp and greasy. Service was to go, but the lady and guy working there seemed nice enough.. WIll never go there again, anyone who says this is good bbq is obviously lying. Or have mistaken identity with somewhere else. And OVERPRICED. Definitely, not worth it. Hope this saves people time and money. Goodluck!

Cash only, though they do have an ATM. Since I didnt want to pay the $3.00 ATM fee, I needed a co-worker to spot me. After waiting 20 minutes, I was served a small piece of chicken...it was swimming in a pool of bbq sauce. Too much sauce got my tissue basket-liner so soggy that it tore, and my food spilled into the plastic basket (which probably doesnt get washed by the looks of things). Bottom line, bring cash and dont forget to order a side of meat with your bbq sauce.
