For those of you who are unfamiliar with what Little Miss supplies to the masses it is quite simply some of the best Texas style BBQ you will ever have the honor to wait in line for and consume. They open at 11 and often sell out by 2 so that should say something all by itself. The pastrami used to be my favorite item on the menu (Thursdays only) and then I tried the Lamb Neck (Wed only) and holy cow is that amazing. Friday and Saturday are very popular days due to the monster beef ribs which while expensive deliver on flavor. For most people it will start and end with the fatty and lean briskets. And for those people you are not wrong for thinking that way, because they might be the best ones I ever had, I have been to some of the gospel BBQ places in TX, and this stands right up there with them. The links were above average when they opened but the last few times they are legitimately as strong as the rest of the options. There are several sides for you to choose from the best of which for me is the beans. They have become truly excellent. It is the monster pepper hit and miscellaneous chunks of meat that really sells them for me. Oh and for those of you that care they have your white bread, pickles and onions as well. Now for a bit of an elephant, SAUCE. Great BBQ does not need sauce. This BBQ unquestionably fits in that category. But for those of you who are sauce inclined or like it on your sides they have you covered so to speak. (I actually like some sauce on my links) The regular, the spicy and the mustard. All three started out pretty good and have improved as well, I really enjoy the mustard sauce. I do not mind doing a little dipping to get a different flavor or to give it a bit more spice but I implore you all to try the meat without sauce before you smother them.

Juste ...

Hands down, the best smokehouse in Phoenix. Rolled into the parking lot around closing time on a Saturday afternoon, walked right in and found what I was looking for. They sell out daily but I got some chopped brisket and a sausage. These fellas are doing it right, here! Great tunes playing on the box. The meats are smoked on oak, pecan and pistachio woods which have a less dominant smoke flavor than mesquite. They offer 3 different sauces which could all be bottled and sold. The house sauce is perfect, the sweet and tangy mustard is the best Ive tasted and my personal favorite is the spicy. The brisket is moist and tender with crispy edges. The sausage is the real star here, ground fresh daily with a variety of choice meats and seasonings with a little jalapeño. Incredible flavor that youd be hard pressed to recreate at home. The ol man says you can get on the website to place a 5 lb. order a week in advance, theyll give you a pick up time and you can make a B-line to the register to grab the goods, like a fast pass at Disneyland. Throw a party or keep it for a weeks worth of meals, Turkey, pork, beef etc. The Pecan pies looks delicious, next time with ribs...

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. OMG, the brisket and the ribs and sausage....surpasses anything you have had in the great state of cattle barons southeast of AZ. Scotts once-a-hobby, now-a-profession is being honed to new levels of perfection every day, right down to a downright fussy standard for his meats. And he will be there at the carving table almost every day, making new lifelong friends with every plate served. I love to drive by his place around midnight coming from the airport and getting a whiff of that succulent smoke, flavoring the next days offerings. They put a truly new southwest twist on the barbeque standard. I get my servings "naked" without any sauces. The sauces are good and varied, but the meats are just too good without them. The bar has been set and most others will be hard pressed to come even close to this place. A line? Yes, always. Parking? maybe a little walk at times. Worth the wait? You decide, but the money line is on you being "hooked". Worth a trip from any distance. Gee...reading this, think maybe I like it?

Best smoked BBQ Ive had in Phoenix to date. Period. Im somewhat critical of BBQ in the Phoenix metro area because Ive assisted on two different BBQ competition teams (once at Best Dam BBQ competition and once at Stagecoach BBQ competition). Im also pretty decent at smoking meats in my backyard. And while Ill eat any BBQ and not really complain, I dont wholly enjoy many of the BBQ joints in the area. The meat here is solid and I will return. Had brisket, pork ribs and pulled pork. Great rub flavor, good smoke and tenderness. The one minor thing Ill say is that I personally like my brisket with a bit crispier bark. My guess is that it being wrapped in foil and stored in a cambro to keep warm, that the humidity softened up the bark too much. Maybe one day Ill time it right to grab some brisket coming right off the smoker. If you like REAL smoked bbq, go here. Also, thumbs up for a non sweet coleslaw.

To the person that gave this place 1 star and a bad comment towards customer service.....REALLY? This place is very very very good. Not only is the food delicious, but the customer service is beyond exceptional for this type of restaurant. The only meat I dont like is the ribs, because I like mine a little burned. The older gentleman that offers water to customers while they wait, came inside, asked if I wanted to take my beef rib bone home to my dog. I told him I had 3 dogs so I probably wouldnt take it (I didnt want them to fight over it). Next thing I know, he brings me two extra beef bones and said "now all your dogs can be happy". Simple things like this keep customers happy and businesses open. This was my second time here and I cant wait to bring even more friends next time.

Wood smoked BBQ that is cooked the right way! True Texas style brisket that was moist and smoked to perfection. Not a dry or firm piece of meat in sight. Sausage had a nice pop and season to it, and the pork ribs were fall off the bone delicious. If your struggling to pick a side, go with the cheddar and jalapeño grits! The queue wasnt bad at all. I showed up about an hour before open and was probably 15th in line. They have covered seating outside with a cooler of small bottled waters and water misters to beat the heat while waiting. The staff was friendly and brought samples outside, and I even scored a few burnt end samples when I got into the building. You can tell they take pride in what they do and enjoy their jobs! Thanks LMB! Ill be back.
