What a dining experience! The staff are all very attentive, polite and ready to serve. Customer service wants for nothing, by far one of my best dining experiences in quite some time, and definitely the best of 2016. The food portions are generous, freshly prepared and made to order. Reign of Thai really is a hidden gem in the rough. Ordering Pad See Yew took about 20-25 minutes for the plate to be delivered, but the restaurant was a bit busy, so this isnt an issue. The food arrived steaming hot and looked exquisite, their presentation of the dish was unique in the way the serving plate is in the shape of a fish, and an ornamental carrot piece was fashioned into a flower sitting atop the entrée. The flavors were light and complemented each other in the way one would expect Asian cuisine to be when its properly prepared. Overall, the food was delicious, filling and I couldnt get enough of it! The atmosphere is laid back (casual), but could easily accommodate the most discerning of diners. The parking kind of sucks, but dont let that deter you from exceptional dining! And again, the staff here are just superstars, I mean really good, honest and polite people. Its so refreshing to dine in a restaurant where the staff arent horrible to the guests or to one another. The best restaurant experience of 2016, for me, so far. Good luck all other places, Reign of Thai has a formula that I suspect wont be given up anytime soon. 5 of 5 stars, and Im not one to just dish out 5 star reviews. Kudos, Reign of Thai!

This unassuming little corner restaurant blew me away, even after having high expectations from reading positive reviews. Immaculately clean, attentive and polite service, and the food is absolutely fantastic. The buffet is relatively small (about 18 dishes), but they dont hold back on the quality, and keep the trays well stocked and very fresh. They dont hold back on the heat or authenticity either--be warned if you have a sensitive palate, I could feel my scalp sweating after sampling just a few dishes! Thai food is very spicy, but not in a way that overwhelms the flavors; every dish there was unique and delicious. Dont expect a bunch of fried dishes like other buffets, I was very pleased to find rich curries full of fresh, colorful and crunchy string beans, carrots and bell peppers. I couldnt be happier to have found this hidden gem, and I plan on coming back very soon. If youre looking to try something different from the same old fried rice and sesame chicken takeout routine, do yourself a favor and drop by here instead. You wont believe what youve been missing out on.

The food here is fantastic! But, unfortunately, we will no longer order from this restaurant ever again. Ive worked in this industry for ten years and this restaurant has the rudest, unhelpful, forgetful, ignorant staff Ive ever encountered. Ive ordered food to-go from here two times. 1st time I called to order food togo - me," how much is the pad thai?", ... person taking my order, " uh im really busy I have a party of 40 in here.. what do you want to order.".... 2nd time - me, " does the green curry have egg plant in it?" order taker, "YES ..." me , " ok can I have extra please.... and extra rice please, " order taker, " ya sure" I get home to eat, .... no egg plant at all in my food, and no extra rice when I called back to let them know about the error they made with my food order the person that answered when I called said, " oh ya I didnt take the order so I dont know, k bye".... wow.............. rude ............. ignorant service..

Id give this place 6+ stars if I could! Seriously amazing food and great, super-friendly service! I cant believe we just discovered this place! Weve driven past it at least a hundred times and never had a clue. The other reviews werent wrong. Ive eaten a LOT of good Thai food, and this place is my absolute new favorite in Phoenix! We had the Spicy Noodles with Basil (Drunken Noodles) with chicken and the Pa-Naeng Curry (beef) and they were both phenomenal!! Cant wait to go back and try the Tom-Kha soup and Phad Thai, as well as the lunch buffet! Be warned, I like HOT food (Ill think something isnt hot and others will be sweating) and we got our food as a 2. Perfect! Nice heat, but still enjoyable with tons of flavor, and my husband simply added some of the chili paste and chopped thai chilis to heat his up a little extra. Well definitely go back soon!!

I travel for a living, and Thai food is my favorite, so I often try different Thai establishments in different cities around the world. Today I tried the lunch buffet at E-San Sab Thai. Its OUTSTANDING. Not only is the customer service exceptional, but the authenticity of the dishes were fantastic. The buffet has about 20 different items to choose from, as well as 2 different and delicious soups! I will tell everyone I know who appreciates Thai food, to try this place. I will absolutely be back, and Ill become a regular, because the Thai food here is above and beyond ANY Thai restaurants I have tried in the metropolitan Phoenix area. The place is small, but its a gold mine, and the chef knows exactly what hes doing!! This place is great!!

I love Thai Cuisine, and this is hands down the best Thai I have ever had anywhere in this country. The owner and Chef Pete Pholtosa is a culinary genius not afraid to give it to you Thai Hot if you request it. Many places will simply wave the one dried pepper they have on hand over your plate before giving you the food. Not here! I love the Pad Thai and the Rad Na, but there are many Curry dishes to choose from as well. I highly recommend the lunch buffet if you want to get a chance to sample several dishes. Dont let the location next to the AAMCO transmission center fool you, this IS where you want to go. I eat hear at least once a week!

Really outstanding Thai food. I came here a couple of times within a short time frame. They have a very reasonable good lunch buffet for I think about $10.00 + tax and tip. For dinner its about $15 to $17 with tax and tip for a full entrée, and enough food left to go for another meal the next day. The taste is.. Im sure.. just like it would be in Thailand, it seems like it would be very authentic. They can make it with as little or as much spice as you want. I think #2 is about right for me that has some spice but #5... I have heard #5 is very hot and spicy and probably not for most of us.

Have tried 7 different thai places in phoenix area in the last year or so. Simply a cut above the rest. Best Thai Coconut soup i have ever tried, excellent lunch buffet everyday. Quite an authentic Thai restaurant. Not a fancy ambience, but if you like spicy hot Thai food, this place will nit disappoint you. A word of caution though.....their star system is also very authentic Thai system. *** is close to Thai Hot (extremely hot), **** is Thai hot and ***** is for you only you are crazy. Go with zero stars if you want mild/not spicy. One of my favorite places to eat at in Phoenix area.
