I have been to Burger Theory twice now. My first time was on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and although the service wasnt bad - it wasnt great! Never got drink refills and a little slow. The food however was awesome! I went back on a Friday for lunch and the experience was terrible from the minute we walked in the door. The Hostess doesnt know how to seat folks. The patio was closed because some folks were painting the trim. So our only choice was in the lower area of the indoor seating - lots of tables that werent bussed and didnt even think the area was staffed with a server. A young lady that we thought was the manager finally waited on us and we got drinks quickly but the food was slow in coming out. Another party that came in at same time as us was seated in the same area and after almost an hour they left without eating. Again, no drink refills. I ordered the nachos this time and although they were okay there were so few black beans on it I couldnt even find them until I got to the bottom of the plate and there they were 14 little black beans. Wow! This is not an inexpensive place to dine so if they want to stay in business they need to step up the service in a major way! I would hate to see what it is like when they are actually busy!

Took my son and ex wife there tonight since I work at the airport and see it all the timeBest damn burger in town by far! Prices are not bad at all. My sons kids meal was 5 bucks and he got a huge cheeseburger and bunch of fries. The manager also came up and was super pleasant and gave us free deserts because apparently she thought we waited too long for our food. The 3 of us have waited much longer at other high end burger places and received poor service and poor food quality on top of the wait. Our server was super nice and competely on his game. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great burger in a great environment. I work in the service industry driving people from the airport so customer service is something i know quite well, and its great to see someone else go above and beyond for a customer.You have customers for life, and since I work at the airport I will be visiting quite often. I forget our servers name but I think the manager was named Carrie. You 2 were awesome and compiments to the chef!

We have been here several times before and the food had always been delicious. I would usually get their mushroom burger and the burgers would have a fresh hand formed patty, flavorful house made garlic mayo, and each bite would have the fresh seered in juices and cheese. It has been a few months since the last time we have been there, and now it was awful. Im not sure if they have a new owner or cook, but it was not the same. The meat of the burger was tiny, there was purple color to the inside meat, and it had an old freezer burnt taste to it. We ordered a kids meals of a pizza, and received a tiny microwave pizza thats cheese wasnt even fully melted. What was a great burger place has severely changed for the worst. Needless to say, we will not be going back there again which is a shame because I was looking forward to it and chose to eat there of all places for mothers day.

Went to burger theory expecting a wide array of burgers to choose from. Went with family to a burger theory next to a hotel in Phoenix, which I am hoping, might have been the reason we had terrible food and a long wait. I got their biggest burger and was glad to see the size but have to report that even though it was a big burger it didnt not satisfy me one bit. Sometimes, size will overcome a lesser quality. In this case I ended up tasting a burger that tasted like a big undercooked meatball between two pieces of bread. Probably the worst burger I have had in a decade. We waited for at least an hour and half for our food. Just overall would not recommend this place and ended up spending almost 15 dollars more with a gratuity of around 18 percent. Just a waste of money.

To be honest, my buddy and I were d.i.s.a.p.p.o.i.n.t.e.d. I was excited to try this place, and it really was sad. A super small menu with, like 7 burgers, and then u can make your own. Well, i made my own and wow! For fifteen dollars, I received one small patty, on a crap white grocery store bun. With a drab of some buffalo sauce, and nothing else! Worst fifteen dollar burger Ive ever had. Anyone can easily go to a burger King, even McDonalds, and get a much much better burger. My buddy was just as disappointed. The only reason it gets two stars rather than one is, it was clean, nice atmosphere, and good service. Next time, anywhere else and I will save money. One thing...could it be possible that its so overpriced because its actually the holiday inn restaurant? Hmmm

The food is decent but slightly over priced. Pretty good beer selection but buyer beware, if you leave your debit/credit card there its a nightmare to get it back. Apparently they have an ingenious protocol of locking up any cards in a safe that only one individual has access to in the entire hotel/restaurant from 8am-5pm. Called last night to let them know I would be picking it up and was told to go to the front desk. They didnt have it and told me to go to the bar. I went to the bar and was again told I would need to come back tomorrow. Coming from someone who has worked in much faster paced bars, this place needs to work on their service communication. I likely wont return.

Dont let its fancy looks and modern accommodations fool you. This place is WAY OVER PRICED!! Ten dollars for a burger, I asked for extra mushrooms instead of getting caramelized onions that came on my burger. I did not receive extra mushrooms, then when he asked if I was happy, I SAID NO! He didnt do anything so I HAD TO SAY CAN I GET EXTRA MUSHROOMS. I got charged for it too. They brought our food but forgot my boyfriends French fries, Not only that is 3 bucks to add onion rings or French fries, its not included in the ten dollars, and you dont get much... VERY UNHAPPY TERRIBLE SERVICE NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND OVER PRICED.

Good atmosphere. Sat on the patio, and it was packed with people. The service was a tad slow, and we felt like the server may have forgotten to check on us a few times, but I think it was just because everyone was very busy. The food is good, not great. The menu touts a hand selected ground beef, but the server told us it is not ground in house. I got the grilled chicken with buffalo sauce. It came a bit dry, but they happily grabbed extra sauce when asked. My wife got a breakfast burger and said it was very good. The party was cooked appropriately to temp as asked and the egg was also cooked very well.

I have been here several times. I agree with everyone that its ridiculous you have to pay for sides, also to expensive!! Sodas $2.95, come on.....!! Im thinking they want to make their $$ back, but definitely going at it the wrong way!! We loved the nachos and chicken tenders!! The fish that is served on the fish sandwich is THE BEST I have ever tried, hands down!!!!! I have never had bad service here, so its unfortunate for those reviews!! Hopefully, the owner sees the reviews, and lowers prices and ads sides to meals, dont want to see them go under!!
