From all the reviews I read on this place, I was really disappointed with the quality of the food and the condition of the restaurant. The restaurant was very basic on the inside and quite dirty. There were no clean tables when we walked in and ended up having to wipe our own off as it seemed they were severely understaffed. The service was set up like a fast food restaurant where you order at the counter and pick up the food yourself- but had the wait of a sit down restaurant (15-20 minutes for your burger), the flow was just not good. We ordered the Booze Burger- the one raved about in all the reviews and featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Im not sure if they were having an off day or what but the burger was just gross. The jalapeno, cream cheese and bacon sauce was extremely bland and had no flavor other than sweet. The bun was tiny and completely smooshed in the basket. I understood the patties were battered and deep fried but I was not ready for the amount of oil that would come off of that burger. When I think of deep fried I think of crisp, not saturated and dripping in grease, completely soggy. I think the biggest turn off though was that the beef tasted very off and did not seem fresh at all. All in all I would not recommend this place, the price was high, the quality was low and I just could not understand what all the hype was about.

Decent food. Lucky Charms Milkshake was fun. Small hole in the wall place. Check the menu out online before you go as the menu on the wall just has then names of the items no descriptions so if it is someones first time they will be stuck not knowing what to get (which can cause a headache as the line piles up waiting on decisions to be made) Downsides are during many times there just isnt enough room so you are left cramped next to other patrons who are waiting for a place to sit, just waiting to order, or even trying to eat. It becomes very claustrophobic and hot very quickly. Standing outside in AZ isnt the best option most times but even if you felt like dealing with the heat there isnt even really any room to stand outside to wait as you just have a small patch of sidewalk in the strip mall and people drive poorly thru the lot (especially trying to get to the liquor store next door). I feel like if this place was able to expand into the shop area next door they would flourish even more just by allowing more room to sit and more room to breathe. For me, it ends up being a long drive for decent food (which I can get better and closer) and its not really worth the craziness of trying to fight for a seat in the heat. Not saying I wouldnt ever go back If I was up that way but I wont drive there just for the food again.

Was looking for something new, and this place seemed unique and had an amazing menu. The atmosphere was really good, there was indoor and outdoor seating, and the servers are fairly nice. Objectively speaking, it took quite some time for us to get our food after ordering, about 20 minutes, which isnt necessarily anyones fault in particular. Just an observation. The food itself was the only disappointing part of the experience. It was a little pricy, but I was expecting a big loaded burger in return. Unfortunately it was just two small McDonalds-esque parties on a bun with a tomatoe and small pile of overdone sautéed onions for $9. I encourage people to try it for themselves, but this was just my particular experience, and I likely wont be returning.

This place has a really creative menu. I didnt know french toast fries existed, but this place has them and they taste amazing! The burger tasted good; however, theyre a little petite. I got the weekly special called the Instant Classic which came with two burger patties. At first I thought there was mistake because I only saw 1 dainty patty, but upon inspection it was really 2 micro dainty patties. This was my first time visit so I cant speak if all their burgers are like this. I was just expecting a little more girth to the burger. As I mentioned, the burger tasted great and I want to come back and try the brulee burger.

My friends, I have seen the promised land...surprisingly its a burger joint in Lower Nob Hill. I had the deluxe bison burger with cheese, and it blew my damn mind. Hyperbole aside, it might have been the best burger Ive ever had. The burger was cooked just right (medium for me), the toppings and condiments were perfect, and the bun was on point. Plus, the place has a real laid back feel to it, and the guys working the counter were real nice dudes. Seriously consider splurging on the bison burger over beef: its much richer, with considerably more flavor, and its amazingly a much healthier option. Who knew?

The basic paradise CHZ is a very balanced burger - the brioche bun is perfectly toasted and I love the unusual options of havarti or smoked mozz in addition to cheddar. They do the fixings a little differently too - pickled onions and cucumber are a fresh idea, and a nice change. My only complaint was I ordered without either sauce - jalapeno ranch, or the 1000 island that I was given. I dealt with it instead of asking them to remake the burger, but mentioned it when they circled round to find out how it was. They apologized and without asking compd a basket of the french toast fries.

This burger shop is the real deal! I had the Brûleé Burger and was immediately captivated by the appearance. It actually looks like the picture! The flavors and homemade thousand islands sauce worked together in a way that is indescribable. The French Toast Fries were a perfect pairing to such a decadent sandwich. And the owner, who cooked my food, is a genuinely nice guy. I never want to eat another burger from anywhere else unless the cooks have had a Paradise Valley Burger Co burger and can assure me, in a notarized document, that it is better. I will be back for more.

When traveling we like to visit the same places we have seen on TV, and this place was featured on Dives, Drive ins and Diners. So we knew we had to go. Located in a strip a mall, in about 2400 square feet of space. It was crowded, but they seated us right away, cozy atmosphere. I had the famous burger, dont remember the name, but its their feature burger, it was amazing. Extremely affordable. We had a great time, even the locals were conversing with us from other tables, reminded me of a small town diner. You wont be disappointed.

Hours of operation should read "sometimes but not at the moment". I had several friends and customers talk this place up and despite 4 attempts to come during posted hours, I was thwarted every time. Was the 5th time the charm? NO!!! They were open. I ordered and received a sack of product. There was no charm to be found. I assume they raid the nearby Burger King dumpster for old burger patties to use in their meals and they may change their frier grease on months ending in the letter "k".

Their burgers are LEGEN-- wait for it and I hope youre not lactose intolerant because the next word is-- DAIRY. Lol Seriously delicious burgers! Maybe thats why they were featured on Food Network... A note to the owner(s): The only thing they SHOULD do is stay open later. Seriously guys, youre missing out on the 8-9pm crowds and thats some good revenue. At least welcome people in to the last minute. Seriously, the only burgers I like in town. You have fans. Keep them happy and full!
