I have been going into this bakery for many years now and have always admired the exquisite custom cakes awaiting pick up in the refrigerators. Recently, I ordered a unicorn cake for my granddaughters birthday. I ordered the cake and provided the photo of the cake and the decorator stated that they would "make the cake exactly like the photo." I even paid "in full" at the time of order because I had only the highest expectations for this bakery based on the cakes that I had seen there. On the day of the party I picked up the cake at 11am as arranged and loaded it in the truck. As I was driving I looked closer at the cake and realized the discrepancies. I even pulled over on the 303 to pull up the photo that I had provided and noticed that the horn looked more like a candle than a horn (nothing like the photo), the mane consisted of three colors; green, pink, and white, and did not come down and around like the cake in the photo which consisted of every pastel color in the rainbow. Also, the cake was white so I was confused as to why white was one of the colors in the mane. The eyes had no eyelashes and the gold frosting was smeared on the cake from an obvious mistake that had not been corrected. I was extremely disappointed and distraught as to what I could do at this late time. I was to deliver the cake in 30 minutes with my granddaughter expecting a unicorn cake, all of her decorations were unicorn themed at the party, and here I sat on the 303 trying to consider what my options were; which were none at this point. I took the cake on to the party, but everyone there agreed that the cake ordered was nothing like the cake I received. My daughter and I even had to try and fix the smeared gold mistake the best we could. I e-mailed the two photos to my friend in Tennessee who owns a cake decorating bakery and her words to quote exactly were, "they did a terribly awful job, and I would have not ever allowed such a poor quality cake to leave my shop." She went on to state that the unicorn cake has been quite popular and she has made many just like the photo that I submitted at time of order. Needless to say, I trusted that Baker Wee would make an exquisite cake for our special event and they did not meet my expectations. I still do not understand how the decorator could even think that the cake she decorated looked like the photo of the cake provided. Unfortunately, this was the first time and will be the last time that I order a custom cake from this bakery. Buyer beware, especially if you provide a photo....this is quite alarming!

I ordered a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed cake for my daughters 1st b-day party. When speaking to the main cake designer, she took detailed notes on what I wanted. Although she stated that she would not be the one designing it, that I should go with the larger cake for having a larger space to put all of the decorations that were needed. I not only ordered the larger cake, but paid extra for the decorating. $140 with 2 weeks in advanced prepaid. My order was supposed to be ready by 10:00 a.m. and my daughters party started at noon. When I entered to pick it up at 10:00, her cake was in the case with only the watermelon, caterpillar, and the words Khaleesi is 1 on the cake. (The lettering was crooked and not all the same size) They quickly threw on the printed food items that the caterpillar eats, plus a small butterfly and handed me the cake. I said that it was not acceptable. That I was told that the cake would be decorated. THE WHOLE CAKE WAS PLAIN WHITE WITH NO DECORATIONS. I said can you do polka dots or something? Can you make it seem as if the butterfly is flying? Now its 10:30 and they give the cake to me with small polka dots as a border. I just looked at them knowing that I was out of time and asked them to please put some sprinkles or something on this cake to make it colorful. They did some sprinkles and I feel as if I was cheated! The cake tasted delicious, but we had half of it left over and it looked horrible. We had our wedding cake done here and the design was so carefully and thoughtfully executed. Im just disappointed!

My daughter has ordered cakes from Baker Wee for many years now. Our wedding was in June 2017 in Prescott and although I had thought of Baker Wee for our wedding cake, we did not want to chance transporting the cake from Phoenix to Prescott. I didnt really know of any bakers in the Prescott area and was worried we would be disappointed with using someone we did not know. I spoke with the staff at Baker Wee and they explained how we coud do it with no problem, even with the June heat in Phoenix. We ordered the cake to be picked up by my daughter in Phoenix at 6am so that the extreme heat would not do as much harm. My granddaughter held the cake in her lap the entire journey and the cake was perfect!! We were so very happy with the cake we ordered for our wedding. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, brought in some silk flowers for them to spray our wedding colors and it came out exactly how we wanted it!! The cake was absolutely delicious and everyone commented how pretty it was! The spayed silk flowers matched our wedding colors perfectly! We have the top saved for our 1st anniversary! Ive been there several times and have never been disappointed. They have great desserts. Try the big cannolis or the peanut butter brownies. Recently I needed a cake for my baby shower I looked at a lot of different places and couldnt find anything worth paying for. Of course it came down to the last minute, so I went in and they have already made cakes. I got a vanilla cake with strawberry mouse and vanilla butter cream. I told them what it was for and they asked if they could put some decorations on it, so when I went to get it the next day for the shower I was blown away by how great it looked. They had put the cutest blue butter cream booties, poke a dots, and my sons name. In the end it was probably the best cake Ive ever had. We ended up going back the next week for my birthday cake. We plan on using them again anytime we need a cake. To top it off the price of the cakes we bought were comparable to the crap you can get a other place, but it was so much better.

Im usually not one to write reviews but this bakery DEFINITELY deserves it!!! I ordered a cake from Baker Wee and I can definitely say they where the BEST Ive ever worked with. I started my order with Emily which she was so nice and so helpful there customer service is EXCELLENT which now a days is so hard to find. I ordered a Jake and The Neverland Pirates cake and sent Emily a picture of the cake I wanted she did let me know they only had a Jake figure but not his friends but I was still ok with that NOW the day I actually picked up the cake can I say WOW Baker-Wee had Jake and his friends figures from the Disney store to make the cake COMPLETE :-) I was VERY VERY VERY happy with the customer service I received and the way the cake turned out topped it off :-D thank you thank you thank you Baker-Wee you guys are the BEST!!!! the cake was also VERY DELICIOUS!!!! Im one HAPPY customer I will definitely be coming back to Baker-Wee.
