The people! Thats why I continue to visit Java Grounds. Amanda, who runs the shop is amazing, funny, and always makes time for the customers. My kids love our once a week breakfasts at java grounds. Great bagels and muffins and the Fritattas are bomb. Rachel is always super friendly as well and speedy. The best thing about this place is that it serves a purpose and the community. The coffee shop supports and is owned by Heart for the City which works with youth providing opportunities like sports, tutoring, job training at the shop, scholarships, and mentoring. Nothing better then getting a great cup of coffee, from amazing people supporting a beautiful organization. Oh and try the Toddy and thank me later.

The people were extremely nice. When I got there they were taking an order for what looked like 100 people (exaggerating, but it was big) from the guy in front of me. Another employee noticed, dropped what she was doing and began to help the people in line so they wouldnt have to wait. That was very considerate! They have sandwiches, salads, smoothies and of course coffee drinks. I didnt have a coffee drink, but can vouch that the food looked good. The smoothie I had in an attempt to be healthy turned out to have soft serve yogurt in it, so probably wasnt very healthy at all. So I would recommend to stick to the coffee drinks and food. Nice place!

I stopped here instead of Starbucks which I put in my gps. I didnt want to pay 6.50 for a dirty chai so I figured Id try somewhere new. Turns out the chai was 10x Better and so was the service. They let me check if the chai was gluten free and not only that but they cater to people with celiacs/gluten intolerance with awesome muffins and Im sure other things. I had the way gluten free banana nut muffin Iv ever had there! Thank you so much for your hospitality guys! Ill be sure to come back and recommend you !

Went here today for the first time. I loved it! Will definitely be coming back. The frittata was good, no bread or cheese perfect for a gluten and dairy free eater like myself (they asked if I wanted cheese, so dont worry, you can definitely have yours with). They made me a lovely latte with coconut milk and I got to hear about the great not for profit of which they are part. Very excited! Looking forward to many meals and hopefully if things work out working with these amazing people in the future!

The mission of the store is great; its a work program for at risk youth. The food is pretty good too. The lattes and blended drinks are very much geared towards the Frappaccino crowd and a little too much for a serious coffee drinker. That said, their plain coffee is roasted in house and is fantastic. Just be advised, lots of Christian rock is played.

Love this place. New manager is friendly, fast, and an all-around great guy. I always get an iced tea and I love that they just give you the cup of ice and you can go fill it up yourself. Makes the line go faster for everyone else. Free wifi, plenty of seating, clean store, friendly staff, and has a great purpose.

Absolutely love this coffee place. I usually go to Starbucks because it is closest to my house but found this place online and figured I would try something new. They have a great selection and the drinks are amazing! On top of that they are a non profit company which is great. Definitely recommend it!

You have to know the story behind this place to appreciate it fully. But say you dont, coffee and food and other drinks are awesome. Great coffee shop vibe and space. Now realize all of this is for charity and to help local children with job training and mentoring. Its a gem to the city and the west valley

Love the employees, love hearing my favorite music in there, any of the coffees and other drinks I have tried are delicious, and the food is yummy too. Any chance I get to meet up with friends, have Moms In Prayer meetings, etc I Always suggest meeting at Java Grounds.

Coffee is great! Service is great too! The girls have smiles on and seem very friendly. One thing that bothers me is why do ppl not tip them? Just like a service any where I feel it is deserved and needed. I always tip! Great job girls!!!!

Great coffee shop if youre working on the go. Wifi, comfy seating, interesting coffee drinks, and locally owned. Ownership has recently changed hands, but the new guys seem like good people. This is where I go if Im working mobile.
