One of a kind place as far as the East Valley goes. Seriously, there aint 2 Uncle Monkeys from Mill Ave to Crismon Road ANYWHERE. Power Hour from opening (10) to 11 cannot be beat, dollar ANYTHING. Happy hour from 5-7 nightly is a riot. Is it a little rough around the edges?, Of course it is, but not in a "weird" way. The mens room though, is no place for the squeamish. And as for Lacy, one thing she is not is Unfair. Oh yeah, best wine burger deal in the whole valley. The only thing you gotta be careful of has nothing to do with the crowd, its the bartender who looks like Kim Kardashian watching like a hawk anyone seeming to be having too much fun and waiting to swoop in like Batgirl to take your drink and order you out. Nuff said.

IF THEY ASK IF YOU WANT TO DO A TAB, THEY OF COURSE WANT YOUR CREDIT CARD, BUT UNLIKE OTHER RESTAURANTS THEY SWIPE IT WITHOUT TELLING YOU, REGARDLESS IF YOU RETURN A "AUTHORIZED RECEIPT" TO THEM OR NOT,,, AND THEY PUT A "$25.00 HOLD", YES ITS 25.00!! KELLY, THE WAITRESS DIDNT INFORM ME OF THIS, I WAS ONLY THERE 30minutes, HAD 1 DRINK & PAID IN CASH. TWO DAYS LATER I SEE THE BANK PENDING $25, SPOKE W/OWNER & ASSURED ME THE CHRG WOULD BE CREDITED BACK, IT WAS, BUT ANOTHER UNAUTHORIZED CHRG IS NOW POSTED, SO I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT NOW!! ID GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, AVOID THIS ONE!

Went in on 2/20/16 late and the younger blondish bartender was (since I cant use the word that would be far more appropriate) REALLY REALLY rude and short. Made my other half show his ID eventhough he wasnt drinking and we had just shown out ID to get in. I was going to get a couple drinks but she didnt as if I wanted to start a tab and she was so off putting I just cashed out. Other than that its a dive bar at best... didnt get why I needed to be pat down to get in but whatever. I like that it had a pool table. Live band was cool but I couldnt talk to who I went with. Wont be back just because of the service.

There bartender emily serves alcohol to under age kids for the right tip amount. Good way to get your liquor license pulled. I also dont appreciate emily having her friends sending me messages harassing me and threatening me. Or the fact that she making fun of my disability/ neurological condition that I could litterly die from. This is an awsome little dive bar. Its sad to see such low class employs tarnish your awsome reputations. I hope to see better employs in the further. I would love to give this bar a five star review agen but I can not do this as long as this the of employs are here.

A big bowl of "Not So Much!" I was meeting a person there to discuss some importent matters...I do have Irish tattoos, but considering my friend is Black, I was called Trump, and Hitler and stared down by a handful of people, a giant purple people eater, and one with a mullet and rebel flag vest...I was looking for cameras in my periphials, thinking Ashton Kutchers "Punked" may be airing there...My final thoughts of this place??? Two words..."Good Lawd!!"

I live about a mile from this place and it is THE BEST DIVE BAR in the Valley. Who else provides food, karaoke 7 days a week, bartenders are hot, its a mixed crowd, so dont be expecting a Scottsdale snobby crowd, you wont get it at Monkeys. Pool is great, darts are awesome, juke box has any song you can think of...this place is tucked in the corner for a reason, only the PEEPZ in-the-know come to this place. Five Stars - Monkeys is the ish!

I think Uncle Monkeys is a great place for happy hour, shooting pool, Karaoke, and meeting people, theres always a party at Uncle Monkeys w/ lots of people no matter what day you pick. I would check to make sure the beer on tap is ice cold before ordering. Uncle monkeys has been known to serve warm beer. The people who go there are what makes it good. The owner and his daughter suck...

The wings were pretty decent but we were disappointed to hear the sauce recipe was Franks Red hot sauce and Tabasco. The crowd was kind of sketchy, my boyfriend was complimented in his "outfit" to the point of weirdness. There was only 1 bartender/waitress for a decently busy Saturday afternoon, but she was pretty good.

Omg I live at the apartments behind this place and a live band has been playing all day! I dont care if its 4/20, this is ridiculous. None of the bands are even that good, like I cant even enjoy my day off because of this godforsaken place. ITS THURSDAY. WHY DO YOU HAVE LIVE BANDS.

This place is awesome. People are usually great and the bartenders are always great. The Karaoke can be the best voice to the voice that makes your ears bleed, but makes it more fun.The food is amazing!!!

Dive bar with decent drinks. Music is good some nights, sometimes not. Bartenders are nice, bouncers are cool. The crowd is different. Not a young crowd, mostly mid 30s+. 3 pool tables and a dance floor.

I tried their wings after hearing that they were pretty good, and I have to say, for the price ($9 for 20), they were EXCELLENT. The crowd was a little weird there, but I like the open layout they have.

Hole-in-the-wall dice bar. Strongly smelled of stale beer and smoke. First beer was flat. Appetizers were OK but nothing to writer home about.
