One of the best of the many new brewpubs dotting the landscape in the Phoenix area. Scottsdale Beer Company is conveniently located at the intersection of busy Shea Boulevard and the I-101. Its spacious, with plenty of room for dining both inside and out. Their beer list is a knockout. In addition to having a half-dozen or so of their own brews on tap at any time (theyre rotated frequently), SBC has an impressive number of "guest" beers available, including a few from other Phoenix-area breweries. The wait staff is exceptionally friendly, service is speedy, and the menu features a reasonably priced, varied menu of appetizers and entrees. (I recommend the Quinoa salad. Excellent.) Finally, SBC has teamed up in recent months with Arizona Humane Society and has sponsored a number of fund-raising events for them. An added plus, in my humble opinion.

We came looking to see a small brewery and Scottsdale Beer Company did not disappoint! You can see the entire brew house from the restaurant, which is open and inviting. The staff were all super kind and helpful. We tried a flight of beers to get a good taste and the variety was incredible. Our food came out quickly and was delicious, with huge portion sizes. When we asked to tour the brewery, our waiter said they were implementing an official tour soon but would see what he could do. One of the owners came out from the back and gave us a really incredible and interesting tour of their brew house and process. All in all, our visit was a wonderful experience which I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone with an interest in beer, brewing, or just good food.

Was there last evening watching the football game and talked to Doug (manager.) I had a brew and my wife wanted house wine. They were all out of the Chardonnay, and suggested a $10. glass of upscale Chardonnay. As a former restaurant owner, I would have offered the better wine at the same price to keep to customer happy and I would have ordered dinner. NO! So for 3 bucks, I closed the tab and went to Tavern Grille, where we had dinner ($45.) Cant make the correct decision to keep me at SBC...and Doug was arguing it was their fault they were out of wine! SBC gets 2 stars for having a doggie friendly patio. Good luck getting us back there unless we have the puppies with us.

We love Scottsdale Beer Company and go as often as we can. Great place to bring the kids for some awesome food. The service is amazingly fast and they are very friendly. Love to come in and try a few of the newly brewed beers. SO REFRESHING! And, the staff is very knowledgeable when helping out with the beer selections. Weve tried a lot of the food and it is all unbelievable but THE FISH AND CHIPS IS THE BEST WEVE EVER HAD! Cant say enough about how much we love this place.

Let me start with the fact that im sitting here now and couldnt wait to write a review. The workers are very friendly. The food was great!! The Bison burger I ordered Medium rare and was perfect. The mac and cheese is to die for. Many choices on the micro brews. Growlers right now are half off celebrating the 4th of July holiday. Bought the SBC Drunkelweizen. Very tasty. Definitely recommend especially if youve never been here!!

Wow the food is terrific! I am more of a wine person, and love the wines they offer. I did try one beer and actually liked it a lot. The grilled chicken sandwich is the best I have had, and the triple fried French fries are amazing. Also there are many gluten free items, and they are good too. Super menu. I will be back often.

Our family loves this place. Great local brews and wide variety of food. The dills chips are excellent along with the Brussels sprouts. If you order the mac and cheese, you only need a half order unless you are sharing. One dig is they got rid of the foosball table! We loved playing while we waited for our food.

Nice place all around. Nothing too fancy so dont let the name fool you. About 14 of their own beers on tap and a decent selection of guest taps too. Their taco are delish and the House Jerky is on point! Ricos Revenge Imperial Red IPA is great but watch out because it packs a punch!

Super tasty food and beer! Best brussel sprouts i have ever had. The grits under the sausage were hands down the best ever! None of our foursome was dissapointed, beer was great, food was great. We all agreed we would come back just for the beer and the brussel sprouts!

Definitely my favorite place. I have been three times and every time the service is spectacular and the food is to die for. I dont normally drink beer but the ones I have tried I liked a lot and will order again. Kid friendly and great atmosphere! I highly recommend!
