Would give this place a zero if I could. Poorly managed, treats artists and fans poorly as well. Went to the Kenny Holland concert tonight with my friend so she could meet him per a "bring 3 friends & meet Kenny after the show" deal. Before the show, my friend spoke with his sister and she said shed get us in. So we go and see him. After we were waiting in the line supposedly to meet him and were then kicked out of the venue and told we were "not on the list". Then we waited for TWO hours after being yelled at and pushed around by security when there was no one else there. After all this commotion and even the family and band mates of the singer were kicked out, they took my friend back while the rest of us waited outside. Even the singers dad told us that security was rude and pushy as well as the venue being unorganized and rude. Horrible place, will never go back. Ever.

How did I just find out about this place?! They really need to do more advertising or work with larger publicists. Seems like they mostly have smaller/local groups playing but I happened to go on a night that Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (CYHSY). Really special night. The size of the place is perfect for an intimate experience with a band and the drinks were good and reasonable priced. On this night, it was embarrassing how few people showed up (maybe 1/3 full for a national act? come on Phoenix!) Look forward to giving Pub Rock another try soon and see if it can be on my list of regular spots (like Marquee, Crescent, and Rhythm Room)

Very strange, my boyfriend and I were told to leave by security, I was having a drink at the bar and he was dancing over by the music. For the life of us, we could not figure out why we were asked to leave, and they wouldnt tell us. The security guy towered over me and got way too close, it seemed like he was going to physically throw me out, but I walked out quickly on my own so I could get away from him. It had been a very standard, fine and happy evening until then... We paid $10 each to get in and were barely there an hour. Kind of shady or something, it makes no sense. I will never go back there.

The security there thinks hes a cop. He will illegally search and touch you. When I went there he illegally grabbed my keys around my neck and wouldnt let go. Then when I had a problem with that he searched my whole body roughly and tried to pull my shirt up. I wouldnt recommend going here because they treat you like inmates, rather then paying customers. Not to mention this place is trashy and in the ghetto.

Security was very rude and really over step their boundaries. I lost my wallet and was looking for it and they kicked me out and wouldnt let me look for it. Chunky bartender yelled at me because it was my first time and walked in for a show to early. Very unprofessional place full of employees who dont care about the customers experience at all.

Kind of a weird venue in an even weirder strip mall. Definite someone could get stabbed or forcibly converted by militant right wing Christians vibe about the area. Still, they attract some great acts and have a full bar with reasonable prices. If a band you like comes through its a decent small venue to see them at.

Love this place, have seen Phil Anselmo and Michale graves here. It was super cheap and I was about 5 ft away from the artist. Its out hidden and doesnt get too crowded which I like. While their alcohol selection isnt very large it is at least formidable especially considering the crowd. O and the guys are cute haha

This is an amazing venue, security is amazing unlike some other venues. Ive never had a bad experience at Pub Rock, and I go very often. Some months I go every week, but At least once a month. I highly suggest going and all of my friends say nothing but great things about the bar side of the venue

I think the bartender is racist, she didnt want to serve me. She would look at me then look away, then a older white gentalmen named Mike waved to her she came then he informed her I needed service. Thank you Mike") Im staying cause I can just feel she is bothered by serving me.

They bring some good bands around but its so annoying that its all ages. Dealing with teenagers is so annoying. The bouncer is an absolute idiot. They dont accept military IDs. According to that fool they arent legal IDs. Never come here, unless there is a band you want to see.

Went there for the first time Friday night and enjoyed a great show featuring "A Moment to Rise" "Three seconds more" and more local bands! I worked the merchandise table so I had an awesome view! Thanks @Ape Shirley for the awesome job opp. ## merchandise sales job.

My fiance a d I came to a show. Staff/security are pricks. Shes 22 and had to walk around even after we told them she was pregnant. She cant still at a table because she had one of the old portrait IDs. Hoping bands I like reconsider venue choice.

Nice and cozy pub with friendly owner, and nice setup, decently priced drinks, they also have game of thrones screening! would be great if they served food as well (only had nachos, and hot dogs, and popcorn). Btw, thank you for the free pop corn :)

Was good up until my 51 year old father and I got kicked out for getting closer to the front of the stage. Apparently getting in front of someone is grounds for getting you kicked out of a venue nowadays. What a joke.

For live music, this place is tough to beat. Drink specials are good too. The stage is divided during some shows for an all-ages crowd. The sound is pretty decent too.

RUDE, poorly run, not customer centric. I would advise taking your music and money to a better venue. They will treat your fans like !*@#!

This watering hole host many shows for local bands. This a big 10 bar come football season and they have the pretty standard beer lineup.

Love what they did with the place. The owner is super cool and bought us a round. Our boys Fayuca and Ballihoo are tearing it up tonight.

Recently committed to being open until late, like a bar. Justin the bartender is the real deal. A mighty fine place to have a cold one.

This is a top notch restaurant ignore the bad reviews, but be prepared to spend some money. It is worth every penny though.
