Tokyo Lobby has been providing top notch service for years. This friendly family feel environment holds true to values i like to find in a mom and pa shop. The food is the best in Arizona, iv eaten at allot of sushi bars, and none have what Tokyo Lobby can offer. I go a few times a year to Cali, still they have nothing on Tokyo Lobby the amazing one of a kind rare jewel! The atmosphere is perfect, full of people who have recognized that this place deserves their loyalty. The rolls range in price and types giving a huge variety of things to chose from. If you love sushi its the best, if you dont never fear this place even caters to sushi haters!! So feel free to bring ur friends who love sushi and those who arnt sure. The people there keep you coming back, the same faces who work every day, besides the Lords day. All of Tokyo Lobby work really hard. They make sure your drink is always full, and your enjoying ur time. Music, Tvs, friends behind the bar, and the noise....some how is not too loud. These people love what they do and you can tell when they make ur food. Taste the love because its going to keep you coming back for more. This place is my favorite place to go. i make it a effort to eat here whenever i can, because ITS WORTH IT!! so to those looking for a place! try it! you never know until you try, but ill tell you this, ITS AMAZING!!! to those who write reviews with 1 star, you must have walked in the shoe store next door and got something, because Tokyo lobby has never disappointed any one iv sent. God bless this place and all those who journey here!

Place looked very inviting so I sat down to order a Sashimi plate. The plate had some cooked fish or cold seared fish on it. I called the waiter to ask what it was and he said that is standard Sashimi to sear tuna and serve it cold. I have been eating Sashimi for over 20 years in Canada on the coast and in the Valley and I assured him contrary to what he was trying to sell me , that it was not Japanese tradition to call seared fish ,Sashimi. In fact it is misleading. If I wanted seared fish I would have ordered it. But he kept giving me reasons and I just did not want to fight with him so I gave him $ 2 to pay for the sip of the awful tea he served and walked out to never return. There are quite a few good Sashimi restaurant near this place this one is not for me. Perhaps other things on the menu are better. But for Sashimi lovers I would have serious reserves to go back. Hate to bash peoples business but at the same time I would appreciate others to speak the truth from their personal experiences and this is what I have done.

If you just care about the food, this is 5 stars. But I think other things are important too. The staff behind the bar making sushi were very welcoming but my waitress would not make eye contact with me at any time. She would take my plate away before confirming I was done. The menu is crass. You can choose from the "Sex On The Beach" roll, or "Orgasm" roll, or "Playgirl" roll, and so on. Im trying to imagine this restaurant owner taking his daughter to lunch after church and after reading the menu telling the waiter shes interested in "the blow job". Im impressed how consistent the best hits of the 80s keep playing overhead. Ill come back again despite the rude waitress until my children are old enough to read and want to order for themselves.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Besides having high quality and super fresh ingredients, the menu has some creative sushi rolls that are ALL worth trying. My favorite is Monkey Brain (no actual monkeys were harmed in the making of this roll. =D ) There is also one with jalepeno (dont remember the name) that was surprisingly good and Im not usually a big fan of jalepenos. Would (and do) recommend this place over and over again. Oh, and their happy hour has some really great lunch deals, too. Ive only been there a handful of times around 11:30am and there was no line or delay in food delivery. Finally, the dining area is a little cozy, so if you plan to have a large group go, you might want to call ahead.

My family and I love this place and have been going here for years. My children love sushi, especially the baby lobster roll (thats our favorite). This is a perfect place for a date night with the husband or a lunch with the family. We just left not too long ago and the waitress and waiter were so nice I had to write a review. My husband was holding our 18 month old and the waiter brought over a high chair. He then grabbed her from my husband and set her in the chair. The waiter didnt have to do that but he did and those little actions are what make places especially memorable. We love this place. Everything from the moment you walk in the door to the point when they all yell "thank you" as you leave.

Been coming here for years. All the employees know my face. Best combination of price and quality I have ever found. (and i eat at soooo many places. foodie.) One day I came in and ordered a bunch of cheap rolls. The chef asked me why I didnt order my favorite today? and I told him didnt do so well on tips at work today. Later while eating my rolls they came up and brought me my favorite at no charge! Much love to everyone here. Top notch sushi and manners. Ambiance is beautiful too. My favorites would be their sashimi, the what the heck roll, and the baby lobster. Great lunch deals too with bento boxes for ~$9 (two half rolls, soup, teriyaki chicken or beef and salad.)

The Food was excellent however, they were too concerned about a large party to care about our table of two. it took 45 minutes to get our food, and this was only after we asked what was taking so long. Our meal was very tasty however, by the temerature we could tell it had sat for quite some time while the entire staff of the restaurant ignored us.I would have ordered more sushi and a round of saki bombers if anyone here even remotely cared about us. I am disapointed that a place with such good food would treat their patrons this way. I might try it again to see if it was just a bad night, or if they are always this way.

Had my first dinner at this restaurant last night and loved it. Im very picky about my Japanese food, Ive been to dozens of sushi restaurants all over the valley, and this one stands out as one of the very best. The quality of the nigiri was especially good, and the unagi was the best Ive ever had. The fresh wasabi served with the yellowtail sashimi was a nice touch. The only imperfection in my visit was that I specified to the server that I wanted the nigiri last; instead I got the nigiri when I was halfway done with my sashimi. But everything was so good, that was easy to forgive.

My brother first introduced me to Tokyo Lobby a few years ago, and lets just say I wasnt the most open minded person when it came to sushi. After my first meal, I fell in love. There is always excellent service with the entire staff, we are now all on a first name basis, theyre very humble and always eager to make sure everything is delicious. Now, my boyfriend and I have our birthdays there, get togethers with friends, and pretty much any excuse we can come up with to come back to this amazing place. We love Tokyo Lobby and will be back with as many people as we can :)
