EXPENSIVE for BAD FOOD My Aunt and I decided to try this place instead of the nearby Pei Wei. The service staff seemed nice enough and the ambiance was all right. But when we got our food is the point were it went downhill. The salad was frozen like it just came out of the freezer. The rolls did not taste right. the rice texture felt mushy and tasted weird. and I have Sushi outings all the time so I know what I am getting..but this..this is just not good. The main plates with Udon noodles are all bland dishes drenched in soy sauce. Nothing seems fresh in this place. I can forgive shabby service because some people have bad days but i cannot forgive serving people bad food. Only thing that was decent was the Sapporo and the edamame. After two drinks, three rolls, and edamame and two (terrible) udon noodle plates the bill came out to $89. Should have just went to Pei Wei.

My family was discriminated against. My husband is African American, I am hispanic, and we have 3 small children who were extremely behaved. We sat with a white lady and her daughter. After we ate the employee, I believe the owner went up to the lady and apologized to her for having to sit with us and asked her if we were too loud. She responded no not at all. The employee then apologized again and asked if she could bring the little girl a desert. I am disgusted. There was no reason for her to apologize to the lady for having to sit with us and then give the little girl a desert. Dont waste your money. On my way home I was so sick from the food, it ran straight through me and out.

I was hesitant to go after all the reviews saying you would wait for a long time. We were seated immediately (at 5:30pm on a Friday), waiter got our drinks immediately and was always around. Only once did I have to prompt for a refill (out of 8 glasses of water - I have a drinking problem =D ). The chef was so full of energy and looked like he was having fun and the energy just passed on to us. Food was good price (about the same as other teppanyaki places near chandler mall) and, in my opinion, better than the aforementioned places.

Dinning Entertainment at its best. Just what a Teppanyaki experience should be. We have been to others in the area that are boring and the food just okay, but way over priced. This location has great food, service, entertainment, and prices that are worth the special occasion. At a price point of around $30 per person, you get what you pay for, in my opinion. We go here for birthdays and anniversaries. Otherwise, the lunch specials are incredible during the week.

We make reservations in advance for my sons 13th birthday on a Saturday night. We show up and they seat us at the grill per our request. We have been sitting at the grill for 1 full hour now because they only have TWO chefs for the night. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!! Probably be another 20 min before we see the food........ They just assigned a chef to a table that came in after us. We decided to leave and go to Peter Piper Pizza next door.

Food is good, service is mediocre. If you come during non busy times everything is fast and service is good, if you come during busy times everything seems frantic. No one is at the front taking reservations or managing the counter so people are either standing around or trying to seat themselves and waitress staff are kind of rude. If you come for dinner I recommend making a reservation.

If I could give a zero I would. I eat sushi all day every day. So you cant pass bad sushi or rice off on me. The counters smelled like they was wiped down with dirty rag. I almost threw up trying to put down the rice that tasted like paste. I have never had rice that made me feel like that. I will never go here again and I am concerned about the people who like this place. HORRIBLE!!!

BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. If you go there, ask for Chu. He is so talented. Flipping bowls into his hat, setting the table on fire, making jokes, making clever food arrangements, the list goes on. Never made a mistake. Very worth it for an enjoyable and memorable meal!!!

Coming from San Diego to the desert is been hard finding good Sushi. So far this little local restaurant has the best I have found and its pretty good by San Diego standards too! Not to mention a friendly staff and the cozy local feel. Yes, Ill be back often and have been.

The highest quality all-you-can-eat sushi option in the state. However, you must specially request this option and sit at the bar. In my travels, I have yet to find an all-you-can-eat sushi option in five states that compares. Service for me has been great over 6+ visits.

The chef we had was terrible, forgot to make our chicken, teriyaki chicken. No flair, no fun, no show. When I addressed the management about my concerns, I was quickly told it just depends on the chef. I will never be coming back again due to poor customer service.

Love the food and the reason I only gave it 4 stars is because they are always trying to close at 9:30. Thats one full hour before actual closing time... Another than them trying to rush you out the door this place is great... Just get here on time lol

The lady that is the manager is very rude, and unorganized. Weve been in there a couple times and its been a disappointment each time. The sushi chefs are very nice and do a good job, but the service is terrible otherwise.

Have been here many times and best Teppan in my opinion. Food is always great. Good show for kids. Cooks have fun which shows. Little pricey but way worth it for the amount of food you get. Id recommend this place.

What a wonderful restaurant. Its become one of our favorite places to dine. The service is excellent, and the food is great. Very friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable, surprisingly.

Sushi was OK but wasnt rolled well. We should have stopped there because the quality of meat used for Tepenyaki was very low. Staff was friendly but I dont think I will be back.

The place had an odd odor, torn seat cushions and dirty/stained menue cards on the table. It was so bad we had to walk out. A sushi place should be spotless and inviting.

Great sushi and sashimi. The fried rice is amazing. Love the food here. Great lunch specials and all you can eat rocks, makes it more affordable to eat sushi. Good service.

The store was very nice and opened early for us. Our chef has been cooking for over 30 years (hes 18) and was very funny and nice. Overall, Im coming back here to eat.
