I recently tried Suehiro with a lot of skepticism, as I have had mostly not so great experiences with Japanese restaurants in Utah. Even though I rated this a 5 because I LOVED IT, this is not the best japanese food I have ever had. I have tried a lot of other restaurants that are on the same level and in the same price range and this is by far, this is my favorite one I have discovered. They have the best vegetarian rolls I have tasted since I lived in Las Vegas! The food was all very fresh (although I am a vegetarian and did not try any fish or meat), the quality of the food was superb and their sushi rice was perfect! (Ive seen places in town use long grain rice for rolls--WTF?) ! I have been called a snob when it comes to sushi, so that says a lot for this place. :) I am excited to go back and try more of their menu. The place was clean, food was so delicious and the service was excellent!

Its not the nicest looking restaurant but the food made up for it. It was one of the best sushi places I have been to and recommended it to my friends. I will be coming back here a lot. Food was priced fair and worth every penny. I got 4 roles in one sitting and cant decide which one was my favorite. I loved all 4! Definitely come here. The rolls were, the ever green, spicy tuna crunch, TNT, and ecstasy.

Fantastic sushi. Easily the freshest sushi Ive had in the state, and rivals some of the best Ive had in places like Hawaii, San Francisco, and Orlando. The prices may be a bit higher than some of their local competition, but you definitely get what you pay for. Cant speak much for their rolls, since Im not a roll guy, but their nigiri and sashimi is superb and melts in your mouth.

Ordered through Grubhub. Worst choice ever. Poorly packaged... no utensils. Plastuc lids on containers were crushed and melted into the Udon. Sushi and Salads we packed ok... but sub-par. Then the chicken in the Udon tasted funny... and within 10 minutes we were violently ill. Will NEVER try them again.

This place is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant. The fish is always fresh and amazing and if youre a fan of sushi rolls, try the confidential roll- if I was on my deathbed and given one last meal, this would be it. In addition, the staff is first rate- very accommodating and super friendly.

This place is fantastic. The Sushi is amazing but so is everything else on the menu. Huge portions, great prices, fantastic customer service, and an amazing atmosphere. This is one of those small, hole in the wall, local secrets that you owe it to yourself to try if youre in the area.

This place is one of my favorites. I used to come here quite a bit back in the day. Now that it is under new ownership the food has gone to smaller portions and it costs more. Still one of my favs though. Recommendations: Chicken Donburi Malibu roll Like I said, pretty pricey.

So bad. Just so bad. Gyoza and Katsu chicken were both obviously frozen and microwaved to serve. Sushi did not have fresh fish and tasted like I was sitting out for a while. We got food poisoning and I only had a bite of everything I ordered. So bad.

This food is amazing. The sushi is incredible and beautiful. Their sushi chefs are masters. Everything on the menu is fantastic. The owner/hostess is the top of her class. Theres literally no reason to not go here.
