You cant ask for a better experience from meeting JC when you come in to talking with Jay while he makes your Sushi. The sushi is always fresh and Jay goes the extra mile to make sure if you have special requests that when hes done the sushi meets or exceeds your expectations. If you want the true tempenyaki grill be sure to ask for Brandon and ask him to do it the " downs way" and you will be in for a treat! Brandon keeps it interactive for you and your guests with flavors that are exceptional. My family has been coming here for over 10yrs and everyone there seems like extended family we celebrate birthdays and special events in our lives there. Our kids have their homecoming and prom date night there along with many anniversaries over the years. We never leave hungry but we do leave with awesome leftovers! Thank Ah-So for being a great place for our family and friends.

My girlfriends and I went to Osaka Steakhouse first, but there was a 45minute wait for any regular table and 2 hour wait for the tepanyaki tables. We decided to call Ah-so and they said that they can reserve a table for us. So we drove from Osaka to Ah-so which was a 15 minute drive. We got there at 6:45 pm and sure enough, a tepanyaki table was reserved for us! We enjoyed our chef because he was very entertaining!! There was 5 of us and we ordered two dinner specials to share. It was $60 per special which included scallops, shrimps, lobster tails, 1 order of chicken and steak, friend rice and veggies. We were soooo full and couldnt finish everything. With 3 glasses of wine, sodas and pineapple juice, our bill was about $160 with tax, no gratuity. We loved the food and loved the service, well be repeat customers for sure!

Went here last night and got in pretty quick. We got there with a party of 5. Got our drinks and food order in pretty quick. The server was quick and attentive. When they started cooking the food, did the normal shows like most Teppan places. I would say the portion for the rice is a little small. I would highly recommend doing extra fried rice as it wasnt that much food for the price compared to other Teppan places like Hon Machi. Only reason rated 4 stars is portion size and prize. I will be back. Also just an FYI they add 15% gratuity for parties 5 to 9 and 18% for 10+.

Came in and I had to sit myself. It was 4 of us and we all ordered sushi rolls. When we got the rolls we got 4 rolls in one huge plate and 2 in another. We had to figure out whos roll was whos. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and it was the least spiciest roll I have ever had. I asked the waitress for a spicy sauce that is not Sarachi sauced. I told her twice No Sarachi. I saw her walk to the bar and talk to the chef and sure enough the chef takes out the bottle of sarachi and pour it into a bowl. It was hard to comunicate with the waitress. This place was pretty expensive too.

Despite all of the negative reviews, I have been coming to this place for the past 2 years. This place may have a long wait time some days (usually weekends) because of how great the experience and the food is. I just went for valentines Day and My Wife took me there recently for my birthday. Always An AWESOME Experience and never a dull moment. There is a live show as the food is cooked right in front of you and the food itself is excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to take their date out for a nice dinner. Dont forget to tip your chef.

Terrible service took 2 hours for the cook to even start making our order. Several other tables arrived after ours and were served first. When confronted about this, their answer was a simple " I dont know ". Very unprofessional way to handle a complaint. This is not even mentioning the fact that its over 90 degrees inside with little to no ventilation. Not deserving of even a 1 star rating. Highly disappointing I do not recommend this place to anyone. Several better options out there.

We ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer at the same time we ordered the teppenyaki. Our soup and salad came out after about 15 minutes. 15 minutes later the teppenyaki came out. We asked about the sushi and they said it would be out soon. 15 minutes later we told them to cancel the sushi. No apology, no comping, nothing. Restaurant needs better ventilation, it had to be 85 degrees in that crowded room. That makes for a very unpleasant dining experience.

Not the best Teppanyaki out there. Tipping is confusing compared to other grills I have been too. The chef has a tip jar and its difficult after tipping the chef $20 for the two of us deciding how much to give when the bill comes. Im sure its this way at other places, but I feel it should be up to the restaurant to Divya up their own tips the way they choose.

The food was very bland. Everyone at our table and the table in front of us were adding salt. Definitely not a good sign. The chef was mostly flirting with a 16year old and her mom. I wouldnt recommend this place.

Weve been coming here since they opened in 1999. The owner, Jay, has made us feel like family over the years. This is definitely our go to place for Teppanyaki, and sushi, and atmosphere.

High price for average food, below average service. Going in with a big party, they are getting tipped regardless of service, it showed!

Average food. Charge extra for fried rice. Should be included as expensive as is. Too much butter. Masks the flavor of the food.

Food is always great! The only downside is that the grills make it warm in there during the summer, but that is somewhat expected.
