I have been here several times, and yes, the food is not great every time. My favorite items are their giant cinnamon rolls, blueberry pancakes (with real blueberries), and the biscuits and jam. I am from the Midwest where biscuits are a big deal, and these rival the ones I got back home. The biscuits are probably always the best as the name-sake would suggest. If they are not, please tell your waitress, and they will have fresh ones made immediately. On that note, I have never had bad customer service. If that is most important to you, then do not come Sunday between 10:30am and 12:30pm, because they are extremely busy at this time. Otherwise, they are usually as attentive as can be expected at a diner-style restaurant, and they will happily remake any food you dislike or take it off the bill. Oh and sign up online for their rewards program. They use your phone number to look it up, so you dont need to bring a loyalty card or anything. You even get $5 off for your birthday and anniversary. Happy eating everyone!

Service was excellent and friendly. This is my second time here. This is not a great place if youre trying to eat healthy. I had the veggie head omelet with biscuits. I subbed fresh fruit for the potatoes. Also, coffee. The coffee mugs are huge - easily twice the size of most sit down restaurants. Theres the usual half and half and the flavored less real stuff. The omelet was good .... But not great. The biscuits and strawberry jam were better, closer to great, but not quite there. The fresh fruit was okay .... I love fresh fruit, but found it hohum. Not worth the extra $1.99, although certainly the healthiest choice. My friends ordered French toast and eggs Benedict - they were quite taken with their food. Nice ambience were were there latish Saturday 12:45, I think. Not too busy and relatively quiet. I will probably be back with friends, but probably not on my own. Id rather not have to face too many foods Id be better off without.

This place has a great appeal to it, the outside is clean, and the interior is fantastic as well. But when it comes down to the fact, I waited 4 minutes to even be acknowledged, then when I would say thank you the waitress would say "No problem" in a snarky, under the breath response. Now, why we are really here, the food was okay. And I mean that in every sense of the word. The french toast was delcious, the sweet potato pancake was not. It was under seasoned and bitter, truly not tasty. Their jam is delicious! Something I would come back for, toast and jam. Lastly the gigantic open wall to see into the kitchen where the waiters touch your food ,and what not, is something I didnt want to see. Overal, they get 2 stars. Work on your staffs attitudes, and make the food more flavorful if we are going out to breakfast we want to be awakened by flavor!

I went to Biscuits a while back and I really didn’t like the food. Returned today, gave it another chance cause I thought maybe the first time was a fluke. The almond French toast is the only thing that is great on the menu. Hands down. Everything else really tastes like crap and thats hard for me to say. I ordered the brisket benedict. The meat looked GREY! Hollandaise sauce watery, muffin soggy. I ordered the almond French toast with side of scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. The bacon was burnt even had a piece of an egg shell on it. Under French toast were some pieces of grilled onions. It wasnt busy. Thier service maybe great but thier food is sad for thier logo " were not a fast food, we serve fresh food real fast". Ahhhhhh No. Dont think so. I will not be going back.

We ordered food the service was so so,most of the staff seemed happy, our waitress on the other hand was angry we guess,we ordered the SMOKEY BRISKET BENEDICT it was bad both times coming out, the poached eggs were not cooked all the way, also the brisket was warm like room temperature, the hash browns had inconsistencies in temperature also second The GREEK OMELETTE was ordered it came out fresh and hot the blue cheese is so so..the biscuits were not hot just so so we ordered more biscuits they came out fresh. Issues when you order food at the same time it should come out hot at the same time ..I feel if your gonna recommend a specialty dish and not know how its made why have it on the menu...

Severely disappointed. We were a group of 5 on a Saturday morning. Didnt have to wait too long for a table, which was good because the restaurant was busy. Our waitress was great, however, thats when things started to go downhill. Food took way too long to come out. I ordered the Country Benedict with hash browns. The sausage was way overcooked, almost burned. The poached eggs were overcooked to the point of being hard-boiled. I asked for scrambled eggs, but that wasnt what I wanted. The hash browns were nearly burned on the bottom but hardly cooked on the top. Overall, it was an awful experience! I really want this restaurant to be great, but I keep having bad experiences. I wont be back.

Where do I start......Fist time visiting this place and everything was awful. Server forgot our drinks for 5 minutes, told my wife not to get the cinnamon French toast because its usually soggy, my wifes coffee mug has sticky crap all over it, the walls were nasty looking like they never clean them, and to top all of it off when our food arrived their was a LONG hair in my food. We immediately got up and told our server we are leaving because of x, y, and z and we will never be back. I didnt want to waste my time even talking to a manager because they could have offered me free food for life and I would have never returned. This place is terrible on every level, go to McDonalds instead.

This is a surprise gem. Heard of the place by word of mouth. Started coming just before Christmas. Since then I have not had a bad food item yet. I have tried both breakfast and lunch. The food is hearty portions for the any appetite. And a well rounded menu for even those picky hard to decide people (like me). The restaurant is always clean, friendly staffed, it has am open air feel yet its not too noisy and it is wheelchair acessable. The prices are moderate but fair for the portion sizes you receive. The restaurant is a little off the main intersection so you really have to pay attention or know where to go. Thats its only fault. I hope to see it around for a long time to come.
