Since most all the Waffle Houses are in the south, I was not really sure what to expect from one in Phoenix. Especially since the company refuses to build in Las Vegas telling us they need a distribution center in between Georgia and here. So why is there one in Phoenix and it looks like its the real thing?? White Castle figured it out why cant these guys?? But I digress. This is the real thing right down to the cute little old lady who was our waitress, complete with an apron filled with buttons and badges. the Waffles were the same as I remembered from the south. Tasty, a little chewy and round with their syrup... Absolutely heaven... The hash Browns are the selling point. Smothered and covered!! So easy, yet nobody else has figured out how to do that! They move you in, get you seated and fed and move you out... Love it...

You dont come to the WH for fine dining but if you want quick, good food and friendly people, this is the place. Its hard to beat their hash browns. I cant have their waffles anymore since Im gluten free but theyre really good; theres a reason its called the Waffle House. Really good bacon, too. The eggs came out over medium just like I ordered and based on experience, apparently thats hard for other restaurants to do.

Waiter seemed in a rush, cant substitute eggs for something else, cut off in mid-sentence before I could finish my question, did suggest when asking for suggestion, that part made it a bit easier. Can see for the toast they use store-bought bread. Kitchen floor is complete mess. Water tastes like tap water. Hashbrowns were under cooked, eggs looked like plastic. Waffle was great though.

Love the food and the environment, but Id love it more if it were more consistent with pricing between servers. Since billing is still done manually as part of their old school diner charm, if you add any extras or make any substitutes, price can vary from server to server. But if you order everything plain and outright, youll likely get a consistent, easy to read bill.

We were headed out of town and needed a quick place to have breakfast. We were in and out pretty quick. Ally was our server. She knew we were in a hurry and traveling. She offered to-go drinks for everyone and made sure we were never waiting on her. She has a great sense of humor and made our stay enjoyable. The food was good and had large portions.

Poor service, took 30min to get my waffle, was cold, me and my son got our food but my other son still had to wait. Horrible service . . Food good. I had to ask for coffee refill, i was never asked if i needed something else. What was worse i read the reviews before i came here and sure didnt meet my expectations ... Needs improvement.

We came here and was served by this young blond with horrible customer service. We switched table and Mary our server was awesome. Mary had us laughing and was always attentive to our needs. Her attitude made me want to come back with my girlfriend . If you see a black waitress with purple hair sit on her side.

I always love Waffle House and this time didnt disappoint. Excellent tasty food, lovely people, and a clean restaurant made me super happy eating alone early in the AM. I feel bad I forgot the waitresss name, but she had braces and a bubbly personality that made my night. Thanks again waffle House crew!

Called ahead. They said they had sever items that were gluten free including new waffles. I was so excited get there and all I can eat is eggs and bacon. Really??? The eggs tasted like plastic and the bacon was so thin it had no flavor. Say yourself the money and hit the Dennys half a block down.

We tried the store over Avondale and it was fine but this store BLOWS IT OUT OF THE WATER! We stayed right next to the bell location but it didnt "look safe" according to my wife so we came over here. Great location (area), staff was friendly and store was super clean.

Super fun friendly service, and good food, even at 12am. I was bored and wanted to try a new place, went with a few friends. The food was made quickly and was pretty good! Definitely not the best, but hey, thats not expected from a Waffle House, especially at midnight.

Sure, Waffle House isnt fancy, but the help is great, the food is consistent, and its pretty cheap. (Cheaper than eating at McDonalds.) Bonus star for being open 24 hrs a day; makes the post-convention late-night dinner doable. Great staff every single time.

Cant ever go wrong with waffle house. It will probably be loud, your menu a little sticky and seem dated. With that said you will get awesome foid, spectacular service and unreal pticing. Coast to coast waffle house will not let you down

I was there at 7am on Thursday April 7th 2016. The cook on duty was very very good. Great Cheese steak omelet. The hash browns were the perfect crispness and the onions were caramelized just right. Nice work my man!
