Being from California, Korea Town in Los Angeles has the best to offer. Was working in Chandler for the day, walked in for lunch ( been in Arizona now for a year; was still in search of home cooked meal) Walked in, immediately welcomed with friendly smile. FOOD!!?? As far as Im concerned? THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Home away from home! Kimchi, spot on, Bulgogi, on point, rice? Just right. Steamed Egg.. Perfect. Many more visits coming soon. Been to other Korean restaurants on the west side, north, virtually all over. Glad I found this place. Long drive for me, but worth every ounce of gas spent. Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality and great staff. Will see you all again soon

Gogi has all the classics you would expect at a Korean restaurant, but what sets them apart is that they give everyone a steamed egg in an iron skillet. Why? No clue, but the egg is perfectly cooked, soft and creamy and I want more of it. Our spicy beef had decent flavor and our seaweed salad was fresh. We got there at around 5:30 for dinner (I know, early bird special) and we were the only ones there, but it quickly filled up. For 2 people, 1 plate of meat, 1 seaweed salad and some edemame ended up being a LOT of food- when you factor in the sides and the egg dish. Overall I thought it was pretty good for Phx Korean food and would return based on the price and menu options.

I have been eating Korean food since I came home from the service. I havent come across too many restaurants I wouldnt go back to until now. The service was terrible, the kimchi chigae was weak, the kimchi sides were not good, and the spicy chicken tasted more like bbq. Once we finally made eye contact with anyone to ask for more rice, we got a small bowl of rice. As soon as she put it down, she got "talked to" within earshot of us that we were not allowed more rice. One entree= one rice. I find the extremely tacky. If every other Korean restaurant closed, I might go back.

Complimentary appetizers and a steamed egg in a stone pot were amazing and almost a meal in itself. We ordered 2 sushi rolls (I know, not Korean) and they were fresh and delicious. The entree I ordered was a heated stone pot mix of beef, chicken, pork belly, squid and vegetables in a flavorful, slightly-spicy broth. There was enough food there to feed 4 people if you included the rice. Prices were extraordinarily reasonable for the amount of quality food served. Im definitely coming back and have already recommended this place to several people back at the office.

A must visit! Friendly atmosphere, delicious Korean food, served quickly to your table and at a great price!! We went on a busy Friday, and they were friendly, found a place for us, and helped us pick some good dishes as we hadnt been there before. A great place for those who love Korean food and newbies looking to try something new, the amazing staff will help you pick some great food and ensure you have an amazing time! Definitely will visit again, its an Arizonan hidden gem!!

Clean and new. I loved all the food that I had there so far. The combo tempura was actually very nice, unlike the ones served in some sushi restaurants around chandler. I would recommend this place if you want any nice shrimp tempura. Ox-tail bone soup was amazing. served in a stone bowl that kept it hot and warm the whole time. Lot of good tender meat. Roll was thick and filling and Spicy raw crab were very tasty and spicy.

Ive had the Japanese and the Korean chirashi. The sashimi is super fresh and the portions are generous. The galbi is good as well. The soon is delicious! Over the year I have been coming here the quality service and kitchen speed have become like a clock. Its hard to go out to lunch, Im always worried about being late. They run a tight ship and I can count on getting back to work in a reasonable amount of time.

Were new to Mesa and love Korean food. However, this place did not live up to our expectations. Our favorite is Kalbi Tang and the Kalbi Tang we ordered was not even close. It was like the soup and meat were cooked separately then combined once served. The soup just tasted like green onion. I will not go back there, I dont care if Ill drive an hour to Takamatsu to eat the real Kalbi Tang.

Clean place, modern decor. We were seated immediately. They usually have K-drama music videos playing in the background. We ordered course the fried rice, which is a large portion and has a fried egg on top of it and bibimabap, that was served in a hot stone bowl like it should be. Overall, this is one of the best Korean restaurants in the valley!

Wonderful food. Really nice staff. Clean. We felt as if it was authentic Korean. It was our first time eating Korean. They were patient in educating us. Have gone back a couple of time and taken family. Did not give 5 stars because they needed one more waitress. Service was only a touch slow since the place was packed.

So I like sitting in the booth and the waiter said booth is reserved for 3 to 4 people and every booth at 2 people. Not the important just didnt make sense. Food was horrible even 2nd time. Not great service. If you want great food go here.Arirang Korean BBQ wont be disappointed. Great and tasty side dish. 3.9 83 reviews

The galbi and ... well EVERYTHING is perfect. So tasty. Careful, you will get addicted. Im salivating just thinking about that juicy, flavorful meat with a little rice and Kim chi. 5 stars isnt enough. Oh, try the sweet strawberry wine drink they have. Its got actual strawberries blended in it and its phenomenal.

We discovered this place because another favorite was closed and we really wanted Korean food. Very happy that we tried a new place. Everything was delicious. Good bulgogi, seafood pancake. Clearly a popular place. They were busy for a week night. Service was good. We will definitely return!!

This was our first visit here and I would definitely go back. I had the Pork Katsu and my husband had the Hot Stone Bulgogi. Its a bit pricey for the size of the portions, but you do get quite a bit of meat. Service was quick and attentive. I would love to go back for a date night!

Prices were good and out of my party of 4, we all ordered different dishes and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was great and prompt. I forgot my sunglasses at the table and the waitress ran out to the parking lot looking for me to return them. Would definitely eat here again.

We ordered the hot stone combo with soon tofu soup and it was delish. The fresh spinach was a plus, along with the great flavor in the beef. In terms of other reviews, I didnt notice a staffing problem, but maybe theres more of a rush on the weekends. Either way, well be back!

Ive been to this place a few times now and have not yet taken a picture. Its probably because I was too excited to waste any time before eating the food! Everything Ive had here is delicious, but for me, the hot stone bowl bibimbap with bulgogi takes the cake. Go here!
