Used to be my favorite but not anymore since staffs here are very rude. I only didnt finish my order once or twice out of hundreds of time Ive eaten here and I played by their rules by paying for the full price when I couldnt finish it. After that time, which was 5 months ago, today they told me that they were going to hold back my order because I didnt finish last time. This is not the way how paying customers are supposed to be treated, especially when I followed their policy and paid for what I couldnt finish. Humiliated, I lost my appetite and decided to take my order home paying the full price. Telling them that I would never come back again, they tried to offered me a deal that they would not provide a full order for next time but rather split in 2 turns. I am a paying customer, I am entitled to order what I want and deal with the consequences myself, so I told them no, I would not be coming back. The manager just straight up "thats k" and walked away. Worst customer service. How am I supposed to feel comfortable dining in that restaurant when I know the staffs are talking behind my back? p/s: manager lady is rude. Never respond to "thank you" and usually just slams the dish down the table then walks away.

Sushi is just okay, and overpriced. And dont expect them to honor the $20 off card. My boss orders lunch for the office here every week, so I had a discount card. I met with some friends, who also had the $20 off card, and we wanted to order on two separate forms so they could split our checks based on what we ordered. The staff insisted we put it all on one. After the meal, all they would do was split the check down the middle, and they wouldnt accept the $20 off coupon for both checks, insisting that the manager wouldnt let them because it was on one check-- exactly what we were trying to avoid in the first place. I felt very manipulated, and will not be giving one more dime to the money-grubbing manager. Im definitely not going to miss the iffy sushi and rude staff, either.

So I am getting ready to be a freshman college student (Spring 2014) and I absolutely love sushi! Unfortunately sushi is pretty expensive and can leave a big hole in our wallet. I went to the Korean BBQ House and Sushi & Sake because one of my co-workers recommended the place to me and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I went with my boyfriend and we were both FULL from sushi which almost never happens and I didnt even order the "all you can eat" sushi buffet. I ordered one of the specialty platters. I will be coming back because the food was fabulous and it was at a great price. By the way, do not judge a book by its cover, the outside of the building is a little beat up but the inside is very clean. Definitely give this place a try!

I used to look forward to eating here on my yearly visits to Albuquerque, but this visit to the sorry excuse for a Korean BBQ will be my last. The service was never great but the food was good enough. Not this time. As long as theres heat, traditional seasonings and fresh ingredients, Korean food is hard to mess up. Congrats, you messed up. The $15 BBQ squid dish had the texture of tire rubber, had no heat and little flavor. The kimchee soup also had no heat, with little traditional flavor. We also never saw the waiter again after he took our order. And he charged us $2.50 for one extra bowl of rice -- something not typical at most quality Asian restaurants. One bowl of rice literally costs pennies. Hope it was worth it.

Love the KBBQ. The sushi half of the restaurant always gets more business, but I think the Korean food is the real gem here. Great bibimbap, bulgogi, hot chicken that makes me swoon, yummy side dishes that often change, sweet salads with ginger dressing, good kimchi, grilled salmon, irresistible kimbop appetizer rolls, the list of things here that I love is really long. In the winter, order the Dukmandukuk, rice cake stew with veggies -- itll last you three or four meals and cure what ails ya. Always ask for extra gochujang! Youre a New Mexican, you need your extra chile! It seems like they reduced the number of side dishes they give out during the food price crisis of 07 and 08, but all the dishes are really special.

DONT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT LATE!!!!! My husband and I went to this restaurant at 9:30 PM Friday night. I asked if they are still seating people for dinner and they said yes so we sat and order two dinners. At 10:00 PM, they turn off the TV, music and lights in the dining room. Although they did turn the lights back on in the dining room, we were force to leave the restaurant without being able to finish dinner. I wish they told us they couldnt seat us because it was late. How many people could place dinner orders and eat within 30 min. or less???

Good sushi! Just beware, all you can eat doesnt really apply unless you can get it all in 2 orders. Not a huge deal, just make sure what you ordered will fill you up after the second order. One time, they told me and my friends after we sent in our second order that they were "worried that we would not finish all of the food and much of it would go to waste." We assured them not to underestimate 3 college students (at the time) who were hungry for some sushi. We ate every bite. Definitely my go to when I want to splurge on a ton of sushi.

This place has too many rules to be considered truly "All-you-can-eat." For one, there is a limit of so-called "special" rolls; one per customer. Then after filling out the form, were told that we may order one additional time. Excuse me for thinking AYCE implied unlimited orders. And the fact that every sushi place puts too much rice in each piece does not excuse the practice here. The miso soup did not have any seaweed. Otherwise its a decent sushi place with an inordinately complex ordering mechanism.

One day you get a superb, clean, nice-looking, and great tasting dish (Sushi) with a great service, and you go there a week later, and you order the same dish, and it turns out to be a similar one, but somehow the quality is lowered, and the service differs greatly depending on who is serving you during what time of day. Normally, Korean restaurants in bigger cities tend to do great in service, but the owner of this restaurant must have some awkward philosophy about running a restaurant.

Great family restaurant, but if you want to eat at the sushi bar....forget it. The sushi menu was confusing and had many misspellings. So many rules! When I finally made my order they screwed it up. The fixings were somewhat dried out like they were made in the morning. The sushi was average. However, based on my observation... its a great place for young families! P.S. The front of the restaurant is the back and the back is the front.

Absolutely one of my worst dining experiences. If your looking for good service n fresh sushi go to "true sushi"! Horrible staff that rush your entire dining experience, Ive never gone to restaurant where they tell you that you need to hurry because they are gonna close. Im a waitress myself and I have never rushed my guest no matter what! And as far as the sushi I was less than satisfied with the selection and the appearance of food!
