Wow, we rolled up for breakfast, and were pleasantly surprised. My wife ordered a breakfast style burro with their green chile, and I asked if they had chilaquiles... WHICH THEY DID! Yeah, its not on their menu, but the chef will whip an order up for you. Their enchilada sauce perfectly complemented this dish. Their chips and salsa were tasty, and my wifes burro was delectable. Really, it was delectable. Im not just repetitiously writing the word delectable for the hell of it. Ill be bringing the familia back to check them out for lunch, or maybe dinner fare. And if Shakira happens to be in the neighborhood, she can come too.

Was excited to try this place, but sadly somewhat disappointed. Carne Asada was good (saucy/vinegary), but not the best and definitely not worth $9 for a burrito (yes, just the burrito about 1/2 to 1/3 smaller than most anywhere else). Went with a coworker and we used a Groupon and both agreed- even with the discount not worth returning. -We also tried several of the bakery items which for the most part did taste fresh but again not great and the custard tasted artificial/ premade.

To start with when you advertise on Groupon and someone brings in a coupon the same day they purchased it with an expiration date and time that still valid the response should never be "We no-longer take those". As for the food portion size I would give them a 3/10 in comparison to all the other Mexican food locations in the area, and taste wise only a 6/10 compared to other locations. The only plus was the salsa was good but will never visit again based on the poor service.

We had their breakfast burritos this morning and I have to say they are the best in this area. My wife had the chorizo and I had the potatoe egg and bacon. Awesome and authentic. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly. The tortillas are fresh, they use real chorizo, and the salsa is great, but could use a little more spice, but I like really spicy food. I highly recommend this place.

Been going every week for nearly two years. Absolutely fantastic service and amazing food. Would recommend it to anyone who has an inkling for tasty baked goods or delicious tortillas with nearly any dish. I usually get the carne asada burrito or the pollo asada ensalada, but Ive had at least one of every item of the menu and theyre all amazing! P.S. They might have the best macaroons Ive ever had.

Service is great and the place feels very homey, their pastries are OK and their food can be sub par. My friend got a torta, which looked authentic and delicious. I got the cheese enchiladas which looked like cafeteria good at a school. If going there pick wisely and totally recommend the horchata, its the best thing they had, very refreshing and properly sweetened.

We were met with the friendliest of service and welcoming smile. I ordered the chorizo plate for breakfast. The food is nothing short of amazing. The fresh chips and salsa are top notch followed by an outstanding plate. By far the best chorizo breakfast I have eaten. Great service, great food and great price... that is hard to top. Love this place.!

Best breakfast burrito in AZ! Everything is homemade and fresh! The tortillas are made right and the salsa is refreshing and simply sublime. I could drink it through a straw! Great food and great service with a great price. Homemade chips and salsa if you eat in, the tortillas are great. Nice cozy eating area with nice artwork. I enjoy coming to this hole-in-the-wall because its clean and the staff is friendly. Hope this place stays around for awhile, Ill keep coming back!!

i love this place it is my favorite breakfast spot. it has the best breakfast burritos and pan(sweet bread) everything is sooooo fresh and delicious. ive never knew anyone that complained about service or the quality of the food. it is absolutely perfect.!!!!!!

El Sol has great food, great service and is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast. The Super Bueno Burrito and sweet bread is a great way to start your day. The chips and salsa are addicting but you can always take some home if you didnt get enough.

This is an award winning little Mexican bakery/restaurant that is little known. Tip: order a pound or two of the fresh ground pork chorizo which is probably the best Mexican chorizo ever. The best!
