We used to eat a lot of Panda. When we lived in the Atlanta area, we would regularly visit Panda for lunch and dinner. We also would get the family meal and take it home for the 5 of us to eat. When we moved to rural South Georgia, we would travel 2 hours to Jacksonville, FL just to eat there. It was awesome. Then we moved to Prattville. We were excited when we learned there was a Panda Express so close to our home. That is, until we ate there. If they arent out of food when we visit, what they do have is too cold to eat. Their staff is constantly changing and I dont think Ive seen the same manager more than twice. It is very expensive for what you get. The food also seems to have changed. It seems to have gotten spicier. Even the things that were once mild seem spicy now. Also, they have removed many of the good items from their menu (like mandarin chicken). It just doesnt seem as fresh as it used to. Sometimes, though, it is good and we remember why we liked it. I guess its not so bad that we wont go back again, but we dont crave it like we used to.

Like any fast food establishment their staff is constantly changing. Service ranges from acceptable to awesome depending on the day of the week, time of day, and who is working. A few months ago the service averaged in the awesome range. At the time of this writing they are more in the acceptable range. There is no predicting how they will rate next month. As with all high turnover, fast food places each visit is a role of the dice. The food is high quality and consistent. On the rare occasion during slow hours, I was given food that had been on the hot bar a little too long. But, they will always make some fresh for you at your request. If they are out of a dish you may have up to a 7 minute wait while they cook more and this is peoples biggest complaint. And a bit of advice, going in and ordering food to go is almost always quicker then using the drive thru. All in all the food is good, there is an occasional wait, and the service is above average for fast food.

Really good Chinese fast food. You have to believe the review someone posted about it being flavorless, and small portions is someone serving buffet and pissed a Panda express opened right next door practically. They absolutely pack their to go boxes with the food of your choice. My taste buds work pretty decent as far as I know. I , as a southerner, am subject to lots of salty foods. So I dont have the greatest taste buds on the planet, but I will say they are at least on par with whatever normal is. That being said, the flavor is great. Some things are less than flavor-full if you were to cook them home made, but thats pretty much common sense as far as Im concerned. If you think on fast food terms, this is top shelf. I eat here as often as my morality will allow. I want to thank whoever got one of these wonderful little buildings into my town.

Okay to start off Im gonna say this was my first time going here. My boyfriend and I got the big plate to share there was only a few options on the entrees to choose from so we chose the 3 that we liked most out of the 5 options we were given. There was an up charge we didnt know about on two of the three we got and the cashier failed to tell us about so we spent almost 3 dollars more than we meant to but even if we werent okat with the up charge we didnt have much choose from because there was only one more option to choose from so we would have had to get double of one of them.. on top of that the portion of food we got was hardly enough to even fill up our box so we paid more than it was worth. Most Chinese restaurants give enough portion to be well worth the price so Ill just go somewhere else from now on.

Just ate here today! I ordered the bigger plate, split my side for fried rice and chow mein, then got fresh sweet fire chicken, string bean chicken, and topped it off with my favorite spring rolls I have tried yet to this date. The food tasted great, and the staff was extremely kind. One lady in particular (Brittney) was going around the restaurant making sure everyone was enjoying their food, seeing if there was anything she could do for them, then checking to find the slightest messes to clean. The atmosphere was great and couldnt have asked for a cleaner place to eat at. The owner of this Panda Express is doing a wonderful job. Although, regarding the restaurant chain in general, I seriously wish and hope a Panda Express comes to Montgomery in East Chase in the near future.

Waited in the drive thru line for more than 8 minutes (just at the ordering kiosk). Just at the ordering kiosk. Probably waited 10 minutes for 2 cars in front of me. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I said "Hello?" A girl answered that she needed one more minute. After waiting so long at the ordering kiosk, I got out of my car to see if anyone was waiting at the pick up window -- no one. Finally had to drive off. As I drove by the pick up window, I saw no employee through the window. Drove next door to Chick Fil A and went through the whole drive thru line in less than 8 minutes with multiple cars in front of me. Oh, the same thing happened to my wife the last time she went to this Panda location.

I have been here on numerous occasions and they have gotten my order wrong. The food is delicious the people that work there are very nice and they are working as fast as they can . But you really get tired of your food not being right so I went inside just to make sure I got what I ordered there was one other person they came in and started ordering well instead of checking me on out..they went ahead and fixed his order well when you put the plastic Tops on you really cant tell the difference guess what someone out there was enjoying my orange chicken and I got their teriyaki chicken really only about the 4th time I guess its time to stop going. They need to hire more help

Nothing "express" about it. I can be the only person in the drive through and spend 10-15 minutes in the drive through. Their "vehicle detection system" as they call it has been down for months not that big of a deal just annoying. But I go there tonight and they have a sign at the drive through saying due to "technical difficulties" the drive through is closed. What does that even mean? In summary: food is alright but will take you awhile to get it.

I dined in at this restaurant and the service was super fast I was even allowed to taste test the shanghai beef. The entrees were awesome but the fried rice I had was undercooked and crunchy. Being that the meal was 10.79 with the premium entree that I had I would expect the rice to be cooked properly. To be honest Ive had better Chinese at the food court in the mall down the street. This was my first time eating here and possibly my last..
