I dont leave one star reviews unless well deserved and theyve earned it. Past 3 times I went the staff was inattentive and acted like the customers were invisible. This time want horrible, only had one of them stare at us blank for 1 minute before taking our order. Then the drink machine. Cherry was empty so I got regular coke which tasted like it was low on syrup. Tried Dr pepper, same thing. After that I just asked for a refund on the drink to which the employee decided to completely ignore and just changed the cherry cartridge.. so I just threw my cup away and sat down. Got our food and went home to find out that my sandwich had some awesome misery sauce on the bottom of the bun and the sandwich had onions on it which I made sure they knew I did not want. If there was only one bad trip I would blown it off but 3 in a row does it for me. Will not return.. this place used to be so good too.. its a damn shame.

Maybe I visited this location on a bad day, but I felt like all of the employees there were new or hadnt ever made a sandwich for Firehouse before. My sweet & spicy meatball sub came out just a little warmer than room temperature and it was absolutely coated in pepper flakes and something that tasted like BBQ sauce. Definitely different than what Im used to getting at other locations. It took a lot longer than expected to get my sandwich, and the employee had to ask me to double-check my order while making it. Hard to explain away with an empty dining room. On the positive side, the Coke machine wasnt out of any flavors like it seems to be when I visit some of the other locations. Ill give it a second shot, but it was not the usual positive Firehouse experience.

Firehouse Subs-Avon, IN. Not only was the food great...the employees were very friendly. And our hats off to James who went out of his way to help us get our run-away dog back in our car when we first arrived here to eat! :-)
