This is the Olive Garden in Stones River Mall, which opened this summer. We arrived in the late afternoon before the supper crowd, but the new restaurant was crowded. Seated on the back wall, our server took his own good time in greeting us and even longer bringing our drinks. Then he disappeared. After about ten minutes, we got his attention and ordered. He disappeared again. In the fullness of time, our appetizer arrived with our salad bowl - simultaneously. In less than a minute, the entrees arrived, too. I had the Fettucine Alfredo, a simple dish. The pasta was about half cooked, stuck together on one end and hard and uncooked on the other. I could see the problem when the waiter placed it in front of me, it was that obvious. Unfortunately, he put the plates on the table and immediately left without a bon appetit or "Will there be anything else"? We did not see him again for several minutes, and when I did complain about my food, he mumbled something and left again. I did not eat my meal, but my wife s was much better. She had the Lasagna. When the waiter brought the bill, I complained again. His reply? "I am sorry to hear that." And off he went. I paid the amount due, no tip, and vowed never to return. Usually, when I have an unpleasant experience in a restaurant, it is one thing or another. In this case, it was everything: service, food, presentation, drinks, the works. All bad. Oh, should I mention the family seated next to us with the baby that cried non-stop the entire time they were there? I hate that this happened because we usually enjoy Olive Garden and the new Murfreesboro location is much closer to our home. We will not be going back.

Ive eaten at several Olive Gardens in my time mainly because girlfriends and dates think that this restaurant is the romantic "BIZ". Ive eaten at locations in Fayetteville Ar., Little Rock Ar, Tulsa Ok, Antioch Tn, and Murfreesboro Tn. Ive eaten at some of these locations more than once by the by. Now that I have proved that I have been to a few Olive Gardens in my time let me explain why this one was so horrible. The service was slow and seemed preoccupied with talking to the bartenders then checking on us. The food was terrible and by far the worst Italian food Ive ever attempted to consume. To top it off, the restaurant ran out of Parmesan cheese. Thats right , an Italian restaurant that ran out of Parmesan cheese. They couldnt even go to the freaking Kroger grocery store down the street to get some more cheese. That is epidemically pathetic and ridiculous. I will never attend this Olive Garden again. By the way the Olive Garden in Fayetteville Arkansas was very pleasant and the food was wonderful. I have no idea what happened to this Olive Garden location.

This place is probably close to one of the worst olive gardens Ive been to. The lady who waited on us seemed like we were a bother to her. When the guy sat us at her table she rolled her eyes and was just rude. We didnt not get our salad till the food came out we got two breadsticks and she never came back. When the food came out it looked like my husbands food was frozen and heated up in a microwave which it was. My food came out with paper in it and strings from something looks like they pulled my food out of the trash can. We didnt say anything about the frozen food but We said something about the trash in my food. The manager never came out they gave us a free desert and took it off the ticket. Would have been nice if someone would have been a little sorry but they werent. I will never go back and I will never recommend it to anyone and I work at a hotel where people want to know good places. This is not one.

Typically I dont leave bad reviews but third times a charm. I live decently far away so I usually place an online order and have my boyfriend pick up our dinner on his way home but the past 3 times Ive tried to order online I go through and get our order together and it wont process the payment. So I call and see if the order goes through, which of course it doesnt and then they proceed to take my order over the phone. However they dont tell you until youre done placing the phone order that you cant pay over the phone. What an inconvenience! You can get online and pay online but you cant pay over the phone? They have lost money and my business numerous times and they are very aware that I have been having these issues and they still havent done anything to fix the problem. Bad business.

Went in around 4:15 today and the hostess was talking on her walkie, and barely spoke to us. She walked us to the table where she apologized for not getting enough menus (only 3 of us). When she returned she didnt stop and slid the menu on the table while she was arguing with whom ever was on the other end. We where talking and two other tables were seated around us. I got to noticing that it was taking along time. I looked at the other two tables and one had already received their drinks and the other table had even received their salad. I looked at my watch phone that was when I realized it was 4:40. We had been there and the only words spoken to was how many and sorry. Well sorry our money will be spent elsewhere.

Very unpleasant experience. First off, we had a large group of 13 (4 were children) and we understand a group that large takes additional accommodations but the service we had was ridiculous. The complaints begin after we waited an hour for a table on a Sunday night. They were not busy at all. We let this slide after they offered free appetizers. But then we had to wait 45 minutes to get salads. Another 15 minutes for bread because they forgot. When the food finally arrived after an hour, it was mediocre at best. After 2 and a half hours we finally left. Service was garbage and food was overpriced for what we got. I normally enjoy Olive Garden but Im not going back to the place.

Average food less than average for Italian. on Valentines Day Im by myself working in Murfreesboro Tennessee. everybody in Nashville is inside this restaurant at one time. the wait staff is overwhelmed and probably the building is understaffed if I had to guess ....the food is cookie cutter at best just like every other Olive Garden Ive ever been in the wait staff is all MTSU students they have a pretty good attitude and things are trying to run however theyre just simply overrun the process is not good because theres not enough people to work a date event like Valentines Day. the management should be penalized for not having enough people on staff for Feb14th...

Tuesday afternoon...party of 2, 20 minute wait to be seated ( in the back of restaurant with literally 11 empty tables back there in that one area) our server was ...eh. not familiar with the menu... like my daughter (15) ordered a non alcoholic limonada... she said shed need to see ID since they make it in the bar..... well... shes 15... but she went to ask after I suggested as much , and found out she could order it... so it only took 35 minutes to get it.. but it was good . Food was decent, service in general was decent. Prices were , well... olive garden prices... facilities were clean.
