I am very disappointed in this Cracker Barrel. I eat at lots of Cracker Barrels around the south and this did not meet usual C B standards. We stopped by on a Sunday night recently and even though there were lots of tables open, the hostess said there was a 20 minute wait. We went to another restaurant and were seated immediately. This past Friday we gave it another try, and were still disappointed. When I walked up to the waitress and told her we had a party of seven she commented "All of our large tables are not clean." She did not offer to clean one for us. I jokingly commented "well I can go clean one if I need to." She did not crack a smile, just ask us to step to the side so she could seat other people. After we waited around 10 minutes, we were seated and had a wonderful waitress. Unfortunately the chicken fried steak was RAW. When we told the waitress, she gladly said she would go get the manager. He never came! After a while, the waitress asked if he had come. When we said no, she went back to get him. She came back to the table and said "He is tied up and told me just to take it off your bill." Instead they changed it to a childs vegetable plate. From reading the other reviews clearly this Cracker Barrel needs a change in management.

I have never given a cracker barrel such a low rating but this could not be helped! After sitting and waiting for over 10 minutes to be served finally we received our drinks. If the restaurant was crowded at the time I would understand and this would be a problem but it was not crowded at all. After driving from Louisiana my wife and I were rather parched and had both finished our drinks rather quickly. After sitting another 14 minutes with an empty glass my wife got up and grabbed another server to get us refills, only to find that our server was just standing in the kitchen area talking instead of waiting on her tables. This is unacceptable. The server then seemed irritated that my wife did so! We will never return here and we will make sure that everyone we know will no longer patronize your establishment. The reason that this Cracker Barrel struggles to provide the same quality of food and courteous service that other locations are known for is due to awful, rude, incompetent management who do not hire diligently, nor lead by example. This location has been getting worse for years. All complaints by customers, regardless of how polite the complaint, are responded to with an attitude of "defense" by management, instead of responsibility. Other Cracker Barrels arent like this. This Cracker Barrel is profitable because it is the only Cracker Barrel available to people in Montgomery.

It is hard to pick a right time to go to this Cracker Barrel or any other one in the nation. They are packed all the time, which is great. Wait staff is slow getting to you, even to order drinks when you arrive at your table, but dont hold them against it, because the house if fully packed with people, and there are so many orders for the kitchen staff. But, all in all. I really like the management and employees. I want to thank the management, kitchen and wait staff for all they do, especially the kitchen staff, because the food is great ! Mmmmmm. Definitely going back here.

Very dissatisfied with this location. It was a busy Friday night so understandably they were busy. I asked the cashier if I could order "to-go" or if I had to order with the hostess. She said yes and looked at the hostess then said Ill call a server up. After about 10 min of waiting I got in the hostess line. Waiting there another 5 or so minutes. Get to hostess and she says let me help the others guests behind you first. Uh no. Ive already waited long enough. Then called to speak with manager and on hold for another 8 -10 min. So not happy

The food was good. Been raised eating the stuff they serve, for the most part, but its great to not have to clean the mess up. It was busy, but its Sunday so there were church crowds. They said we would have a 15 to 20 minute wait, we ended up waiting about 10, which was fine cause I had a baby to change and enjoyed looking in the shop. But every Cracker Barrel I have been to is crowded and we usually have a wait. Our seeing was polite but not real happy looking lol. But the food and service was very good.

Food was good, service was worse than HORRIBLE. Ate 3 times there because we love CB and live in California so we dont have any. The service became worse with each visit. The last visit the server "had an emergency" and left mid-visit. Order was brought out piece meal and the server who took over was clueless about the order. She was nice enough but management didnt come out to apologize. People around us left. AVOID going to this location if at all possible!

Excellent service by server Christian R. Listened to my order & extras on food. Brought salad out 1st which was SO beautiful, multi colored greens with red grape tomatoes. Ordered thousand island dsg... which is the best Ive had since my father passed away... he always made homemade dressings. Christian was most attentive to the needs and request I had & addressed them instantly. Food was almost too fast ad Id just gotten my toss salad. Reason for only 4

We visit cracker barrel often when we travel and this is one I would not recommend. We got there right after they opened and waited a while to be seated because there was no one in site to seat us. It took a long time to place an order and when our food came out the biscuits were not finished. It was the end of the meal before the bread was brought out. If you open at six shouldnt some one start cooking before then? Way to slow for us!!

There are no words to tell you how HORRIBLE this location is. I LOVE Cracker Barrel, but this one is an abomination. Order is wrong...food is cold...manager is an idiot. One visit our waiter was slamming down our plates and not refilling our drinks. ..the manager apologized and explained he was "having a bad day". Our food should have been free yet the manager didnt even offer. And we were too nice to demand it. Dont go here!!!!!!!!

We always stop at CB when traveling. Ordered salad and potato for lunch. 25 min later server said only one bsked potato available. OK just salad. Wanted to take home pie in way out. Sell by date 3 days earlier. Asked about service when checking out. Explained what happened. Response "sorry to hear that". Seriously? Rest rooms no toilet paper..... Will never return to this terrible CB. Poor management

Most awful service ever, lied to by our server, raw meat and to top it off lied to by management and told cooked susage was suppose to be pink!!!! Pitiful and guaranteed my family will never return. It would be beneficial though to have ALL your employees be honest and work instead of propped up holding the walls up. BTW, we were the family that wrote our tip in red crayon on your napkins
