As a back history, family brought me food from here probably two or more years ago. I was home working on a big project. I have allergies as well as sensitivities to certain foods and am not able to just scrape everything off. The sandwich was made wrong (their default way and not how it was ordered). Project or not, I sped back there and was not very nice (although I usually am). They offered to make more and I told them I had no time. The poor manager hurried, grabbed money from the till (without even ringing the refund yet as I recall). He told me to come back for a free meal. He never gave me anything to show for it (as he was trying to get me on my way), but I was to mention his name, I believe. I never went back nor got it. If I remember right, the manager was middle-aged, with glasses, thinning hair, short, a little bit overweight and sort of had what I’d call an accountant look. Between then and tonight I have had family bring me breakfast food and they seemed to mess that up fairly often too, but I dealt with it. Last night I was going to go there. It was between that and Burger King and a co-worker wanted Burger King. I told her it was probably a good thing, because Bob Evans would probably mess mine up anyhow. Tonight, I decide to finally give them another shot at making the sandwich mentioned above right. I should have known better. I slept less than 4 hours, worked over 13 hours (minus an hour lunch), called in the order while leaving work. It is 22 degrees. I left the vehicle running, went in, the young lady at the counter was very nice and we chit-chatted. I confirmed with her that she got my order the way I asked. She said yes. She apologized for the order not being ready which was no problem. I was pretty sure I saw the sandwich was wrong as she bagged, so I unbagged and checked. Sure enough their way…. THE WRONG WAY again. She took it to the kitchen and said "Guys, this was supposed to be (the way I ordered it). She brought it back within minutes, so I know they just took the extra crap off. I could have done that myself. I told her I have allergies and she went to get the manager. I believe I told her and the manager separately about the same thing happening the last time I was there. He said "let me make you a fresh one". So, I wait probably 10-15 more minutes (I turn off the car to keep from burning even more gas). It is obvious to me there is a problem in getting food made right here. It is a crap shoot at best. The quality of the food is okay enough, so if you dont mind not getting what you ordered or at least how you ordered, you might be okay. Not me. At least the manager the last time did what he could to make it right, but I never collected on the "free meal" and simply only got back the money I had spent. Maybe that was because I had to drive back and was more visibly upset. For the record, I eat many meals out, I have formed friendly acquaintances with many restaurant staff in town. I even often give restaurants other chances, as mistakes happen. But, if the same mistakes happen several times, there is a problem. I am not sure if this is getting staff that doesnt care, not training them, their not paying enough attention and just being on auto pilot, understaffed, bad systems or what. I actually think I showed great restraint tonight. Nonetheless, I have no immediate plans of going back. Even if I do, I doubt I order that again. For those who read my White Castle review from probably a year ago, I have still not returned there and I have free food coupons I could cash in. As far as Bob Evans, I wonder what it will take to solve this recurring problem, someone going into anaphylactic shock?

No food and lost my lunch hour. I was sort of hungry for bacon and eggs so I went to Bob Evans. Sat and watched all the wait people walk by me for about 10 minutes. Finally some kid stopped and asked me if I wanted something. I was hungry so I didnt make a fuss about my wait. So I ordered one egg scrambled well done, three strips of very crisp bacon, and whole wheat toast and milk. Never saw him again, but 20 minutes later I saw my food come up so I though I would at least be eating soon. Wrong. I sat and watched my food get colder and colder for about 20 minutes and then just walked out. No one even noticed. Now I am mad AND hungry.

Really dispointed with the employee that waited on my daughter and her family last Friday. My 3yr old granddaughter is special needs and had a seizure while waiting for their food, and my daughter had to leave. All the waitress could say was you have to pay for your food. WOW!! Not are you OK, do you need help? A kind person there eating told the waitress to leave them alone and he would pay for any bill they may have. This is so sad that your employees and managment would be so cruel. Thank you kind person wish I could tell you thank you, and how wonderful it is to know there are people like you in this world. :(

Food was good but served cold. Waitress kept chatting with a customer she seemed to know personally instead of bringing our order and the order was wrong and brought out cold. Usually we are asked refills for coffee . But this time I had to call one of the servers to pour coffee since the server for our table didnt come around. This is the longest we have ever had to wait for a cold breakfast at Bob Evans and the entire experience was less than satisfactory. We did mention it at the counter while billing but there wasnt any response to that ! Disappointed! ( server : Jennifer c).

Hardly saw our server the entire visit, took about 10 minutes after getting sat to order drinks. Our drinks werent brought out-- another sever stopped at our table and grabbed them for us (which I know she didnt have to but we really appreciated it.) Watched our server take food to 3 wrong tables during our visit. Didnt get our bread until after the manager brought our food out. Food was good, I love Bob Evans mashed potatoes and my husbands pot roast was good. I dont normally like carrots but the carrots with his roast were delicious.

We waited for 30 minutes to be seated, watched help and manager float around talking to friends while other people waiting up and left. 30 more minutes after set down still dont have food. Not a full house, just a very poorly managed restaurant. Ron: if you worked as hard at taking care of customers as you do yakking this would be a five star review! Up and down on service at this location. Dear God, dont come here if you are in any rush. Truly disappointed...

ordered the turkey dinner as it has been pretty good and a good value in the past - not this time. turkey portion has been cut roughly in half (and some of that was inedible fat and grisly meat). to compensate they doubled up on the stuffing to fill up the plate - yeah, we noticed so you werent fooling anyone. overall will have to think twice about returning. p.s. several hours later now and should add that this meal made us sick as well - thanks bob evans!
