The atmosphere is good but the food was not that good. The sushi was awful. It was too much rice and the fish was not fresh at all. They have good bread with a homemade butter and an ok crab cakes with a tasty salad. But the pecan crusted grouper that I got was in a bed of what I can say it was not rice, but a rice puree, so overcook the rice. The grits with shrimp had no flavor besides the spiciness of the Andouille sausage. They had a good crème brulee but the sugar crust on top was too much. I would recommend as first choice to go but like I said the place looks nice and they have a good menu selection (i would definitely recommend to stay away from the sushi).

The waitress / bartender, Amber I think, was absolutely horrible!!!! She stayed on her phone, she tended to her friends mostly, she put WAY TO MUCH liquor in my drink! And on top of that, she fixed my drink, chatted with her friends, then brought it to me watered down! She wad rude, short, got my friends order WRONG, and Im pretty sure she was serving an underaged kid that was among her group of friends! Will never go back, and have alerted all of my friends and asked that they spread the word!!! Horrible service! It wasnt even that busy!!!

If I were highly social, enjoy loud music, talking, smoking, drinking, and just the rowdy bar atmosphere on a first and second level building (and I dont) this would be the place Id go! It seems everyone in Florence knows about this place, enjoys it, and have at least gone here once. If you havent experienced On The Rocks then you need to visit at least ONCE! As for the service, waitresses always seem to find their way back to you, keep good tabs, and bring the booze!

First time I went there found a hair stuck inside my bread but they quickly made me another sandwich...minor incident but I would love to go back soon. Looks beautiful inside and the live entertainment is wild :)

Slow service if you dont sit at the bar. However, once the bartender sees you, service is great! Food is tasty and reasonably priced. I like the copper bar and the overall atmosphere is pretty good as well.

I dont frequent bars very often, and this is one is average at best. The times that Ive been to OTR, it has been packed or nearly empty, and never in between. Their bar food is pretty darn good, though.

great looking place and I love the food, but after 9 or 10pm, the music is so loud you have to scream to talk to someone sitting right next to you. but its always packed, so maybe Im just getting old.
