PALACE DINER....Wow. NEVER have been treated with such disrespect. THE MANAGER was beyond rude. 1. HAIR in my soup ...not a big deal it happens, sent it back 2. Got turkey sandwich. No cranberry sauce. 3. Turkey dry and fatty. 4. Had a nice piece of pastrami in the sandwich as well -___- 5. Two sticks in my cranberry sauce. 6. Sent food back 7. Manager notified and she removed dish from bill She still wanted to charge me for my ice tea... mind you I have been in the service industry for years. You take care of the customers bill especially because of the hair and multiple problems with the sandwich. I said to her Im sorry but Im not charging 3 dollars on my CC, this should be comped. Her response "You didnt want to pay for the soup and the sandwich. What do you want to pay for?" O.O Did not pay for ice tea. When I left the hostess said have a good day... manager walked by and said "you wished her a good day?!?!?" So unprofessional, and no customer service etiquette. Never going to THE PALACE diner again, as well as forwarding this to all friends and family so they are well aware of how they treat their customers.

Ive only tried the omelettes here but I go back at least once a month to get it. Im a hash brown freak and I like them done a certain way and DANG I LOVE theirs! 4/5 and not 5/5 because the omelettes are not consistent but theyre always good. You could tell that they have more than one cook that has a different style. Also 4/5 because you can tell the employees are miserable. The head guy speaks rudely to them and the kitchen always sounds insane. But the food is good and the place is clean. The employees just need to be treated better.

Warning...never go here. If it were possible to give this place less than a star I would. The service was horrendous, waited forever for a waitress, no refills on the coffee that came cold and cost 2.10 for a 6 ounce cup, potatoes skins that tasted like cardboard, chicken wings that came ice cold and so small you would think they were pigeon wings, dry chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks that were rubbery. Oh and dont use the bathrooms absolutely disgusting a port-a-potty is cleaner.

Tried this place for the first time. Ordered chicken pot pie, burger mozzarella sticks and Mediterranean sampler oh and a salad with Portobello mushrooms and goat cheese. Salad was really good. Burger was good. Pot pie was basically chicken stew with a large biscuit on top. Not the kind of pot pie Im used to. Sampler was missing some stuff. Mozzarella sticks were mozzarella sticks. Kids meal doesnt come with a drink,lame. If you want fries gotta ask cause they dont come with the burger.

A place where the food is great and we used to visit every time we were in the area but in our last visit on Saturday night, we were very sad and disappointed when one of the servers was very mean to one of the busboys. She made fun of him with another server because his english was less than perfect. I think they should be more respectful not only with customers but with co-workers. They should be more professional and not yell at the busboy for every one to hear.

BEWARE! WORST experience I ever had at a restaurant! We were seated next to loud drunk customers that not only disturbed us with how loud they were being but then harassed and came to our table and started SCREAMING in our face about me using my cellphone. I called to complain to manager after leaving out of embarrassment and got no help and him telling me "sorry but theres nothing we can do this has happened before".. BEWARE THIS DINER! UNSAFE!

We had been going to this diner for awhile . Loved this place . But Since the recent new ownership we see a decline in quality of food. Normally we would bring the family here on a weekly basis . We went last week for first time since new owners and we could taste a big difference in the food. We asked the server and he said along w the new ownership came new cooks. we havent been back since , its not the same quality.

I love this place. There service is on point and the food is always good. However, I do see flys on the pastries on occasion. But everything else is okay. I love their breakfast burrito and I also love the fact that theyre 24 hours and serve breakfast lunch and dinner around the clock. You can have whatever you want when your in the mood for it.

Food is fantastic and the service is great(a friend i went with asked for his homefries to be put back on the grill and they did it no problem!) , it is a little pricey though. I got the eggs benedict copenhagen and the eggs were poached perfectly! The color on the hollandaise sauce made the dish pop! I recommend this place if youre in the area.

Quite possibly the best diner Ive ever been to in my life. Has great quick budget meals or nearly Culinary Institute level entrees. Full bar, awesome staff, amazing desserts. Ive eaten here a hundred times at least and I have no bad memories. I measure all other diners I visit based on how they compare to the Palace.

I dont know whats worse, the fact that the waiter doesnt know the difference between WELL DONE & MED-WELL or that the fact that the cook let the food get out like that. Fries were saggy & im sure they just re-fried it to make them warm. Really wouldnt spend any money here if you thinking to come here. DO - NOT.

The food was plentiful for the price and tasted really good. The service was friendly and attentive. I had the patty melt but opted for mashed potatoes instead of fries. The potatoes by them self were bland but the gravy added a good amount of flavor to them. An all around good experience.

The food itself was decent, but definitely not worth what it ended up costing. The silverware that was rolled out on the table still had dried food on it, and the restaurant itself didnt seem too clean. All in all will only go there again when Everready is closed on late weeknights.

The go-to place in Poughkeepsie for that late night, much needed gyro and fries. Or that jitterbug. Or that Monte Christo. And black and white cookies any time of the day, unless they have the bad taste of selling out before you get there. You can get obese here.

Our waitress was very rude and in a bad mood. Even the other waitress and diners noticed as well. Last night, my friends wanted to get something to eat and we were right around the corner. I told them "Not that diner" and we went somewhere else to eat.

We were just there and the service was absolutely horrible.... We sat there for 10 minutes at our table while 3 waitresses walked by us. We didnt even get to order drinks. This was the worst place Ive ever been to, wouldnt recommend it.

Been going to this Diner for years, and love the food. Most of the staff is pretty friendly as well. Sometimes you do get the one-off chance where your order is not correct- but they usually try to correct the situation best they can.

I walked in with my friends one late night and a staff member was so rude. The one hostess with blonde hair said "good luck" to our waitress as we sat down at our table. If youre looking for friendly service, dont come here.
