This is one of the value restaurants, where the quality of the food is excellent but the price you pay surprises you. We started with a Nachos which is beyond any contemporary style cheese nachos you have seen before. I highly recommend ordering that. We ate the Texan Rancero (2x (Chicken and Beef) Soft Taco wrapped in a corn flour tortilla served with rice and refried beans. As well as a Vegetarian Fajita served with the same sides. EXCELLENT authentic Mexican food for under $11 per entree. The only negative is the decor and washroom are poor, but at that price point it is very justifiable.

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE! Im from southern California, and the Mexican food here reminded me of home. The flan was home made. The Guacamole was excellent, the rice and beans were always perfect, the salsa was excellent, and the 3 main dishes I tried - the fish tacos, the Chile relleno, and the Steak Fajitas were all incredibly authentic and good! I stayed at the hotel I"m at by mistake, there were two closer to work, but when I come back, Im staying at this same hotel so I can be a block from my new favorite restaurant whenever Im in New York.

Since the reviews looked pretty good, I decided to come for a late lunch on a weekday. The server got my order wrong (brought me chicken instead of beef), but they were friendly and the mistake was rectified. The restaurant has a nice outdoor area for when the weather is nice. The food, however, was rather lacking in both flavour and presentation. The flavour of the California Burrito I ordered was quite bland.

I am probably the pickiest eater in the tri-state area but when I found this place on seamless and read the reviews I decided to give it a try. The area is very limited when it comes to decent eateries let alone great ones. I ordered the taco salad and my socks were literally knocked off!!! Large portions with no shortage on flavor I can happily announce that this will be my go to spot for lunch!

This place is one of my favorite places to eat authentic Spanish food. Its the owner whos a husband and wife team that makes this place spectacular. They recently closed and renovated to use the second floor and now its gorgeous. The twin sons always help and they hired an amazing team to go along. There fresh juice and steak rancheros are my go to items.

You dont go here for the decor, but the food is great, its cheap and fast. Recommended for ordering in or if you want a no fuss cheap dinner that satisfies and tastes yummy. Revising my review from 7 years ago to 5 stars. Did a business deal here and it went very very very very well. So A++ would recommend getting acquired here.

This is our go-to local spot. Warm family feeling, and just looks great since they completed their renovations. Same menu, same food, quick service and always good. We usually start thinking about where to eat, saying "do you want to go to Tajin"? We then think of ten other places and end up going there anyway

By far the tastiest burritos I have had Downtown. Amazing shrimp burrito and some really good quesadillas. Definitely a good meal. The interiors might need some work but it is not bad in any way. Also, they REALLY need to have online ordering. They would make a killing if they set up their own website.

So this was my first time here and I loved it. The salsa is great, the shrimp burrito is excellent and my guy cleaned his plate, he had the tradition chicken burrito. This is real authentic Mexican food. A must try, not is to get good Mexican food I the City

Fabulous, authentic mexican food, " de chuparse los dedos! " We had the tacos rancheros, a vegetarian burrito and the aztec a soup , all delectable and served with a smile. The flan was delicious. very reasonably priced too. A real find!
