Although the food was decent, it was far from authentic. Top that off with a horrendous bartender and bad customer service and it results in a very dissatisfied customer. We sat at the bar to expedite our lunch. Our visit began with the bartender telling us that she could not get to us for a few minutes because she was backed up with other orders. Ten minutes later she takes our orders for drink and food. Then proceeds to give us our poorly mixed drinks without chips and salsa. Then we sat there for over 40 minutes while we waited for our lunch (ceviche and loaded nachos). As we had our drinks we realized that other customers who arrived well after we sat were already receiving their food orders. I was two minutes from requesting the manager when our food came out. The barttender said that the kitchen was backed up. Im sure she failed to send our order into the kitchen. They cant be so backed up that two simple appetizers that did not require cooking took so long to be delivered. Not happy at all. Im sure this place wont last unless they make some significant changes.

Festive and fun atmosphere, overall an easy place to take the kids. We dined with our 10 year old and 20 month old. It can be hard to accommodate picky eaters and an active toddler boy. We were swiftly greeted with a drink order and served warm tortilla chips and salsa while we looked over the menu. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We found the menu to be straight forward and easy to navigate with enough to satisfy different cravings but not too many choices to overwhelm. Dinner was good served promptly and hot. The open air dining is a fresh and fun summer treat. The bright colorful walls, festive lights and fun music kept everyone in a happy mood. Its an over all upbeat place and good for families, but it would also be a good spot for a date or group outing. Casual, clean, and fairly priced! Happy to have something new and fun that breaks up the typical style and monotony of Bay Ridge casual dining.

Let me tell you that I am a foodie and have eaten in and from Many restaurants. So We decided to try this new restaurant for dinner and ordered Burrito entrees, hard shell tacos entrees and some other items. First let me tell you they are a bit pricey for their small portions, so dont be surprised. First lets start off with the Burrito dinner entrée which was served with no sides such as rice and beans, So basically 14.99 with no side of salad OR rice and beans.( maybe they will consider adding some in the future). Then the Hard shell taco entrée was so soggy and falling apart you couldnt even pick it up to eat. Where did the hard shell go? Even though the food tasted very good, there was no thought to presentation either for such a costly entree. We were very disappointed. Even though they will not be seeing me and my money again the restaurant did look nice in and out.

If youve had really good and authentic mexican food...then you will get the fact this place is ridiculous!!!! The italian owners walk around like a scene in Good Fellas, chatting it up with the female bartender...not paying attention to anything else. I ordered a chicken and fish taco, the chicken was cut in little cube squares which totally read Costco the fish "basa" was so over seasoned i missed the taste of the fish. Not to mention the guy at the end of the bar with this glossy stuff on the top of his mouth (wax?) not pleasing at all to look at, they could really use an education in mexican food and then add a big thing called "Care"

I hear about Lobo mexican restaurant in bay ridge, so i decided to pass by with my friends...the place nice, good music,.food horrible,no taste, the guacamole we order was smoothie guacamole,I recommend to shopped the onios, green chile, tomatoes and prepare in front of the customers...but well Service not good, you need a real bartender no teenagers playing around. You are in a good place, but sorry i dont coming back..

Went for my moms birthday. Food was really good. The passion fruit margarita was amazing that I got a 2nd one . I normally dont like steak but the streak fajitas were on point . The services was really good, from the moment t I walked in with my two year old daughter to our wonderful server John, he has such a energetic attitude and I loved it!!! I will definitely be returning back with my family.

Everything you would want and expect from a neighborhood Tex-mex restaurant. My only complaint is that the atmosphere makes you feel like youre in a chain restaurant and its insanely loud. My boyfriend and I were sitting roughly 2-3 feet from each other and I couldnt hear him talking. The service and food are decent; nothing to write home about.

Eh. Went here because Hobrah was too busy. It was all so very mediocre. The food was decent. The service was not good. They were busy but didnt seem to know how to handle it, which is weird to me. The waiter took forever to return to our table. It seemed that he had too many tables to cover. The drinks were really sugary and not in a good way.

New Mexican spot in bay ridge. Ordered fajitas and burrito. It was awesome. Ample seating (unlike hobrah) Evandro was cool and friendly. Option to get drinks at bar was nice while waiting for table. Expect pricing to be higher than say Chipotle or Chiquitita.

Fun, sexxy, sassy with bland food. If Caliente Cab company and Hooters had a child. Bam...Lobo Loco. Some authenticity and spice to Mexican food would improve this place dramatically for me. Until then I got 3 stars to give you just for the fun.

Been in NYC 2 years, so far I havent found anything approximating genuine Mexican food. The food here is good, but its Americanized fare, and far from authentic tasting. Great drinks, good service regular NYC prices. I recommend it. Four stars.

Very disorganized. I walked in, was never greeted so I walked to the bar. It took over 15 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The drink was good, appetizer was decent...but not sure Ill go back. Not customer oriented.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN NYC. Steak Fajita is La Bomba, portions r huge, food is delicious, and a pitcher of Sangria Margarita mix definitely helps
