We were greeted promptly and politely and seated in a nice booth for two. We ordered an app, a beer, and a Jack and coke. The app took around twenty minutes to come out, the drinks were a bit faster, but the waitress was in such a rush she heard "diet coke" instead of "jack and coke". She proceeded to disappear for almost ten minutes while I am waiting to reorder an adult beverage, during which time I decided I wanted to try one of their specialty moonshine drinks. When she finally come back she still doesnt have our appetizer and I start to tell her that I had intended to order a Jack and coke, but that Ive ... Thats not a typo, I didnt even get to fiinish telling her I wanted the moonshine drink, all she heard was Jack and coke and tore off with me and my lady calling after her. Despite her politeness and repeated apologies, our app took twenty plus mijnutes and two platters of the Wednesday fish fry special took an hour ... Thats right folks, an hour to arrive. I had almost asked for the tab in frustration minutes before the food arrived. She apologized again and comped us a dessert apiece. The staff was just ok. Ordered a drink from the menu and told they were out of ingredients on a Saturday night? I asked for a side of mac and cheese and they charged for it but didnt bring the fries that were included with the sandwich. The mac and cheese had no taste and was more like mac and water. The melt had no flavor and the meal with a couple of drinks was almost $60 with tip. Wont be returning....
