We sat at the bar at noon Saturday. It took 1 hr 15 minutes to get lunch and a couple drinks. The bar tender apparently worked till close on Friday. Dont know her name because the receipt said "1 am bar"! She completely ignored us. I had to reach over the bar to get menus after 15 minutes. At one point 4 of 5 drinks on our side were empty and sitting on the rail. Very rude. Etc etc. I wrote a very specific email. I have received no reply in a week. I will add my Ladies food was very good. My Saturday special rack of ribs required a knife to cut and was beyond chewy. I was not able to tell the bartender. She was reading something for over 20 minutes. We still tipped her 15%. And my lady actually wrote a note on the receipt. Shes never done that before. We might go back since its very close to our house. But.... If the service is bad again, Ill just walk out. Honestly I shouldnt have paid for my food it was so bad.

This building has been a ton of different restaurants in the past 15 years. It seemed like this location was where restaurants went to die....until now. Draft Picks is a fun, busy sports bar. There are tons of tvs so you can catch the game, food is pretty darn good, and they even have live music. Most recently the local band, This End Up played there. The place was hopping! Back to the food...they really try and do some creative stuff with their burgers. A few weeks ago I had the gyro burger. It was outstanding! Then, last week, I tried the burger stuffed with their spinach-artichoke dip...again a winner! My friend (who happens to have great metabolism) got the grilled cheese burger. This was a burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches! He LOVED it! The bar itself is huge with lots of seating. Give this place a try!

Food is pretty good, service is incredibly hit or miss. This weekend, we had a table reserved for the bar area, the manager treated us as if we were not there, then the hostess came up to us and asked us to follow her into the dining area...upon explaining our situation, she did not believe us. All the while an 8 top arrived, and had the same thing happen, the reservation mysteriously disappeared, however the manager shook thier hand and seated them anyway. We eventually got seated in the bar area. We understand it may get busy at times, however reservations should hold priority over walk ins, no matter how small they may be. On the plus side, our server was Lizeth and she was amazing - she turned our experience around. We will probably be back, however if this continues - we have plenty of other choices in the area.

I would give them five stars because I love their food, I love their beer, their staff is friendly but I used to work there when it went by another name. The reason why I left that place is because the kitchen staff was awful, they did heinous things to the food, they cooked in conditions that would get them shut down by the health department, and the clincher was one of those kitchen workers Chencho. He had the police called on him multiple times he threatened to hurt other workers and he came at me with a knife. They kept him on so I find it hard to believe they changed anything else. It is a shame it was a really good bar in Npaerville.

I live 5 minutes from this location and seen it change From Jimmys Charhouse to Andrews , to total sports , to Rancheros, and now Draftpicks. This time they hit it out of the park! No pun intended great to go for recent cubs run and fills up fast for that... Jim and Demitrius are on top of the staff and run food and expedite the kitchen when necessary. Great to go for any game nite ,college or pro. I was a regular at a local bar up the street and Draftpicks have won me over . Great and friendly bartenders on staff Tonia , Taylor , Dina , Stephanie,Caily , Lori . Heather all provide service with a smile!

Total BS!!! Been going there all summer since I moved in june. Spent over 2500 since. Always get special and love it, until today!!! Today my children were told that the 50 cent chicken fingers they get every Wednesday are no longer 50 cents, instead the KIDS fingers were full price!!!!! Wtf???? 50 cent fingers are 50 cent fingers!!! How can u advertise for something then not honor it!!! Managers need to be fired, I will NEVER GO BACK AFTER THE WAY I WAS JUST TREATED!!!! BEWARE!!!!

Ive only been here once since it became Draft Picks, and only had drinks. It was fine, no better or worse than any other restaurant/sports bar. Our waitress kept all of our tabs straight without issue, so go her. The light in the bathroom is weird: its lit from under the counter. They play different music in the bathroom than they do in the dining room too. At the table it was pop; in the bathroom it was 80s. Shouldve stayed in there longer with the weird lighting.

Drifted down to this local on one evening. Sports bar personified serving food. The place had plenty of seating and a seperate area/room without any TVs or noise. The Saganaki was interesting ( grilled cheese flamed in whiskey) as a starter. The burger was straight forward enough. The service was excellent & attentive without being overpowering. Overall reasonably priced burger sports bar.

Waited for 2 hours for a table to see a performer, then they inform us they gave our table away. Proceed to put us in the banquet room where we cant even see anything. Our waitress was rude and avoided our table the entire time we were there. A friend of mine ordered the chicken tacos, said that they tasted worse than taco bell. I will never visit this place again.

Food is good. Terrible service. Our server Ashley told us 3 specials that were ALL wrong. We ordered the specials and she came back saying those were not available. 2 of us paid in cash & she came back to the table and lied about the money the guys gave her. Good establishment, AWFUL SERVER! Shame on you Ashley trying to steal money from patrons. Thats garbage!

My wife and I visited on a trip to Naperville. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We had the mac and cheese appetizer which was very good especially with the chipotle mayo dipping sauce (added bonus they were half off since it was after 9). I also really liked my firecracker chicken sandwich which had tons of blue cheese and waffle fries.

WOW, this is the #1 Draft Pick! Food was outstanding. I had the Bacon Cheddar Chicken and my wife had the Ham & Chessey Over Easy. Both sandwiches were extraordinary. We also tried the special Chicken Tenders. They had a great light batter coating. The service was excellent. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

Food was good but menu is limited. Everyone enjoyed their meal. For primetime Saturday night, it was not very busy. Its a tough location where restaurants dont seem to last even though everything thats been there has had good food . Worst thing was that it was uncomfortably cold inside.

Was here with friends for snacks and drinks. The wait staff was pushed to their limit this night as there were many hockey games on and news of primary elections as well with a full bar area where we were seated. I think it was good first experience and look forward to coming back again.
