I worked with the Event/Sales Manager, Nancy, to organize a bachelorette party for 13 girls and I couldnt be happier with my experience at both Hotel Arista and CityGate Grille. I stumbled across Hotel Arista by doing a quick Google search for local hotels that provided a classy feel without breaking the bank and this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. As a boutique hotel, Hotel Arista offers guests a topnotch experience that anybody would expect to receive at a Four Seasons. I rented the largest suit and everything blew my mind: from the large windows to the spacious layout and to the gorgeous bathroom! The service fell right in line with all of my other feelings toward the hotel, too. Everybody from the front desk staff to the shuttle bus drivers were warm, welcoming and fun! It was working with Nancy, however, that really put it all over the top. Nancy was incredibly easy to work with, and as somebody who also organizes events, I find that characteristic invaluable. From the beginning, Nancy offered her professional expertise right down to the questions she asked to how she presented herself. She created a menu and an experience that fit everybodys budget while still guaranteeing a wonderful time. The food at CityGate Grille was delicious! We started the evening with the flat bread appetizers, which every single girl raved about - to this day it is still our favorite part of the meal! The soup, salad, main dishes and desserts were just as good and the portions were huge - no girl was complaining about still being hungry; in fact, we all went back to the hotel with doggy bags! I would fully recommend Hotel Arista and CityGate Grille to anybody looking to host a small or large party, looking for a nice evening out, planning a visit to the Chicago land suburbs, or looking to take a mini stay-cation!

I was invited here by a friend who was recommended this place. We started out with the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and Dates. They were absolutely delicious. It comes with 2 of each and there was 3 of us, so we had to cut up the food a bit to make it somewhat even. I believe my friend had a Manhattan, but I cant remember. He said it was in the top 3 he ever had. Between our appetizers and entree we were served fresh rolls....also delicious. I ordered the Souvlaki for dinner. The meat was so tender and delicious. It came with fingerling potatoes and green beans. I highly recommend it. I was told the owner was Greek and it was a family recipe. Overall, it was a very positive experience. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. The only downside was having to walk downstairs for a bathroom, but for a 27 year old its nothing. I highly recommend this place.

Scallops, Lamb Shank, Beet Salad, Caesar Salad, Creme Brule, Tiramasu all Fantastic. The Lobster risotto was by far, the best risotto I have ever tasted. Nice contemporary lines to the restaurant, live music. Exceptional service, our Server was great - perfect timing. Between the Hotel Arista and CityGate grille - Wonderful Night! (note: large enough portions on the salads and desserts to share with 2 easily)

“Great food!” Been coming here since they opened and everything about this restaurant is top notch! They are known for their crab bisque soup which is delicious but they also have so many other wonderful soups, salads and entrees. I have ordered their mussels with lemongrass broth, it is to die for! Their seafood cobb salad is wonderful as well.

Good is excellent, very rich but its what you should expect from a higher end restaurant. Awesome wine selection as well as a decent beer list. They carry local two brothers domain dupage as well as Stella Artois. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking to go out on a date or go out for a very nice dinner

A good variety, the bulk of the items we ordered were done well. The calamari, crab cake, and sashimi were great. However, my main event, the 14oz ribeye was tough and overcooked, unevenly - one side bearing more of the brunt then the other. The Brussel sprouts were awesome.

Visiting from out of town and this place was the perfect date night dinner. Smooth drinks, fresh menu, relaxing atmosphere....a must go if you are wanting something new. Food was prepared perfectly and the staff was super attentive and friendly.

My friends tell me this is a pick up bar, but to be honest I have only come here with my friends and dates. So, I can only say my food was perfect & I did not find, or was looking for a date. The food is not exceptional but service is impeccable.

What a hidden gem. Came here for my birthday and wasnt disappointed. The service is great. Waiter recommended dishes that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The risotto dish was phenomenal! Look to spend about 20-40/plate
