I cook for a living and have been in the restaurant business for 6 years now, and I am shocked how rude the people at this restaurant are. I have been to this restaurant twice now, and so far Im not impressed in the slightest. Their food is good dont get me wrong. But what hurts their business is that the servers care more about the regulars and the other staff, rather than serving us silverware, or giving us a bill after 5 minutes go by with both plates empty and well as drinks completely finished. So when you walk to the register to pay, you take out your credit card and they told me they dont accept cards, and that if I didnt have cash I would have to walk across the street to the gas station and use their ATM because they dont have one. On my way back from the gas station a man in his 50s was walking to the ATM because he didnt have cash on his as well. Now on the way out I looked at the two doors, to my surprise neither door had any sign that they didnt accept cards. In fact they even had a sign saying that if a check bounces that it would be a $35 charge. What day in age today does a restaurant accept checks but not cards.That was just the first time I was there. I came back a month later with cash this time. The service was still lacking. When I went to pay my bill I asked if they accepted cards now, and what the server has said to me was shocking. First off she told me no which wasnt all that shocking, but then when I asked why they didnt have any signs on their doors she got mad at me and with an attitude I was told that if I dont see the little sticker saying they accept cards that I should know. I asked why they just dont put up a sign, and they said they dont need to, and that they dont accept cards and never will. Plus she had to say that because I was younger that was why I had a problem with this, and that older people just dont have this problem. I will not be back, and if anyone asks me I will tell them to never go there.

The first thing I noticed is the waitress was the only server on staff at that time. It took her a little while to even come give us menus and ask what we wanted to drink. It didnt appear to be that busy. Eventually she took our orders but it took 40+ minutes to bring out our food. During that time she did not come to our table once. We were all ready to just pay for my coffee and take off. When the food did come my food was cold, the rest of the food wasnt, only mine. When it was expressed she took the plate away and I had to wait even longer to get a hot plate. She said she would take it off the check. She asked if we needed anything and my brother said more water, she walked away and served other customers so he served himself to a pitcher of water that was sitting near our table. The service was atrocious. Didnt take cards. Will not be back. Also, the menus were filthy. Food was not worth it.

Ive tried this place several times now and am not going back. Their service is slow, the restaurant is loud and not very inviting. Last time I went the server decided to vacuum while we ate and was blowing dust all around us. This time I specifically told the waiter I had one hour exactly and had to leave. After waiting for our food for over an hour I asked how much longer and he said 20 more minutes. We ended up leaving without eating because I couldnt wait anymore. I went to Sunrise Cafe and it was more enjoyable. They had better food, nicer atmosphere, and faster service. The servers at Sunrise werent so stressed out and our food was delivered within 30 minutes or less. The servers here seem to be running around and slamming plates around because they are so busy and stressed out. Prices were about the same at the two locations as well. Go to Sunrise Cafe instead!

Waited at least 30 mins for a menu. Inappropriate language and uniform amongst the staff, order was not to completion and food was not good at all. I recommend Perkins over this any day. I think the $1.14 tip was generous for the service.

Come here all the time when my parents are in town. Friendly family place. Good prices, you wont leave hungry. And for those complaining about not taking credit cards, grow up that cost them money which would raise the prices.

Meh, went downhill recently. Used to be the go to place for great food at great prices, now its just bad food for great prices. There are other family restaurants in town that have stepped up there game and filled the void.

Good service. Love the M&M charicatures, and the drawings behind counter on small fridge. Very family friendly. For those who put this place down- EAT-AT-HOME. WHO AGREES WITH ME!!?

Great food and service!! Nice atmosphere. The chicken dumpling soup is delicious. Hoping the mushroom and Swiss burger is just as good. Highly recommend this restaurant.
