Not my first option but one could have a decent cup of coffee or a good shake here. Unfortunately, service is sllloowwww... amd Ive always found myself rather uncomfortable while at the Crooked Tree House. Tables are big, and chairs... Well, you get the idea.

Great place! NOT at all like the CHAIN coffee places! Much better coffee then them also! Food is top notch! I have coffee with draws on the weekends and when I am outta town, because the coffee is so good there! And the Selections of different types of coffee! This is a must place to go! Great Internet speeds also!! Unfortunately you get the “WIFI Campers” (just like other shops) who think they can come in buy single cup of coffee then setup Office and try to work there for 4-6 hours a day, causing the internet to slow downs, take up tables causing the shop to loose business and then complain about the speeds! REALLY!!!!! I have used the wifi there many of times without issues!!!!! Keep up the good work Crooked Tree!!! It’s Great shop! Don’t let the few that have issues trying to stream videos and music while and setup offices influence your decisions on going to this place!

Walked in and the meek counter girl, monopolized by the masculine girl kept listening to the masculine girl who kept talking, unconcerned about customers who walked in and were standing, waiting, waiting, waiting for acknowledgement. As I finally asked for help, and was waited on, a gruff blonde made sure she told me that I would have to help myself to the coffee. For a visitor, and a new customer, I dont care how good food is, when the service is as uncaring, and unfriendly as these girls were. I would never go back.

Love the pressed-tin ceiling and old-fashioned copper-&-brass espresso machine repurposed as a hot-water dispenser. Has the funky, eclectic, slightly worn-around-the-edges vibe of a classic campus coffee house. Didnt try any of the food this time around, just had a cup of basic drip brew. A nice, flavorful medium roast (my only caveat is that it could be made a little stronger). The place is full on a Saturday morning, with that relaxed & familiar feeling that can only come from the presence of loyal regulars.

This place is falling apart, dusty, and the owner is a self-indulgent a-hole. If you go there, youll see what I mean. The decor is just plain frightening (old crap just everywhere) and not at all suitable for a cafe. I do, however, like the staff. They are always very sweet to me, but I find I get a better cup of coffee and a better atmosphere 2 minutes away at picassos on main street.

Awesome coffee, great service, however the internet is beyond terrible. Ive been going there for yrs and internet has always been an issue, even forcing me to use my phones hotspot capabilities to get work done. That being said its a great shop (I wouldnt be coming back if it wasnt worth it, even with bad internet) and Id give it 5 stars if the net worked consistently :-/

Good size but not too big, cute lamps and pieces around which gave it a cosy feel - I sat and played Scrabble (they have several games) with my friends! The barista was really friendly and chatty and the drinks were delicious but reasonably priced. So great to find a good competitor of Starbucks that is local and unique!

Excellent food with huge variety of drinks in a true coffee shop atmosphere. The Food variety was suprising for a coffee shop as you get used to the fact that that other coffee place only has a few choices all cooked in a microwave and this place is the exact opposite with obviously fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.

Good venue. Decor is homey, inviting, comfy couches, and loved listening to Sinatra with my daughter. Food tastes good, healthy portions and fresh ingredients. Cons: weak coffee, bland cappucino, and cashier didnt mention the kids menu so I didnt have to spend more for extra food, my daughter didnt end up eating.

This Cozy coffee shop has a little bit of everything. Coach and table seating, breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks, desserts, cold brewed coffee, iced coffee, beans, cappuccino, espresso, tea, and coffee accessories. Excellent for a quick buzz or a longer visit of leisure. Highland grog coffee iced is a real treat.

Thought wed try this place while visiting. Coffee was ok but didnt even compare to the other place we tried (Picassos). Out of whipped cream. Took 15 minutes for them to make and then they forgot my scone. Breakfast prices were high (thus the reason I went with just a scone). Good atmosphere and nice staff.

I love the atmosphere of Crooked Tree, and the staff has always been really courteous all the years I have gone here. The tables are situated that theres always enough space between tables. The food is delicious and they have the best coffee selections for the bottomless mug that Ive seen anywhere!

Good drinks and coffee choices. Food is decent. Inside has a lot of games and plenty of seating. Has a little patio with a couple tables out back. My critique is that the staff is not particularly friendly or engaging--dont expect a hello or smile--place your order and go about your business.

Crooked Tree was a fun little coffee shop with some delicious breakfast food and a great coffee selection. Had to dock a star for their restroom which was out of order when I visited. They had the staff one available, but once the regular one is fixed up I would gladly give them five stars!

Some of the freshest & tastiest coffee youll find in this area. The fire was great! I had the ultimate breakfast sandwich & my wife had the Benedict, both were top notch and almost to big for me to finish.... Almost. I highly recommend making this a regular stop.

First time visit on 3/7/2015. Not impressed with the coffee nor the cinnamon roll and the scone. Pastry was on the stale side. The building smelled like smoke. I wont be returning to Crooked Tree and will stick with the Bike Stop Cafe in the future.

Hipster gold. With a playable piano and guitar, comfy couches and a living room/diner like atmosphere, this coffee shop is the perfect place to start your day or study after class. The breakfast sandwiches and cappuccino drinks are outstanding!

Terribly overpriced for what you get. The service is slow at best and the food/coffee is just average. Seems to be run by kids who really dont care at all. Well never return, and live within walking distance... Its a shame.

I love the atmosphere. Very shabby chic! Perfect for high intellectual pursuits and meaningful conversations. Owner very nice and receptive to my suggestion: wiping tables instead of spraying them.

The coffee and food here are both decent but not outstanding. Usually a good selections of different coffees are available but every time I have been here some of the carafes are empty or cooled off.
