Not impressed. When we entered, the place was totally empty, yet the tables were dirty (smudges and sticky spots). It was clear they hadnt been wiped down in awhile. We had difficulty ordering, we had a few questions about the menu but it was clear the employee helping us didnt really understand what we were saying. Any time we tried to ask a question, the employee wrote on his pad as though we were placing an order, even though we were just inquiring about the menu. I* think he was trying his best, but it took us quite awhile to order, none of our questions were really answered, and we werent sure if what we ended up ordering was actually what he was putting in. Also, the only reference to Naan on the menu in the entree area said "Extra Naan $.99". Since this indicated "extra" I didnt order any, assuming that naan would come with my meal (I didnt want "extra", just the regular amount). We got no naan with our food. My husband also ordered a salad, which turned out to be a big plate of lettuce, tomato and onions. When the food finally came, it was ok, but not great, My chicken and my husbands beef were presented exactly the same way..meat, mint yogurt sauce, and some shredded lettuce and little tomato bits. When it came time to pay, we tried to tell the employee at the register (not the same guy who took our order) what we had, but we werent clear if he was understanding us. He sort of mumbled/whispered back what we were saying, then told us an amount to pay which didnt quite seem to match what we had eaten. It was all very confusing. I was quite disappointed as I had been very much looking forward to some Indian/Pakistani food having not had any in awhile. It was my husbands first time eating this style of food and now I will have the challenge of convincing him to try it again, as he was much more discouraged than even I was at the experience.

I was in St. Louis for work for a week and decided I only want to eat Pakistani food since I live in a city with no Pakistani restaurants. I had dinner here on Sunday and it was very busy. They were out of Goat Biryani and kebabs. I ordered Chicken Biryani, Salad and Tea. I asked them to bring the tea after 15 mins of bringing the order and the first thing they brought was the Tea :) and no salad after 30 mins of waiting for the food. The Biryani was really good and the tea was cold until I got to it. I swore I was not going to go back to them. Monday I decided to choose another restaurant and found out that pretty much all Paki restaurants are closed, except Cafe Lazeez. So I head back to them, and on that Monday, they were slow. I told them what had hapened the day before, and they gave me a complimentary salad and hot tea right after I was done eating. Oh and yes they had the best Goat Biryani on monday. I will definately go there on Weekdays, but never on weekends.

Food: The samosa and naan were clearly not made on site and frozen then reheated. Im pretty sure I heard a microwave "ding" when I was waiting for my chicken as well. If I wanted to be served re-warmed meals, Id stay home and search through my freezer. Decor: It was dimly lit, cracks in the walls and very unwelcoming. Also, there were uncovered pitchers of water in the beverage refrigerator that were marked for guests to pick up and take to their tables. Service: The woman that took my order didnt make eye more than once and answered her phone while I was paying for my meal. The food was slow coming out of the kitchen as well.

Good mix of American and Indian food here. Havent tried the American, but the Indian is great. Their Biryani is almost as good as what my Pakistani boss brings me from home. They had beef samosas when I went there over Ramadan and they were amazing. Vegetable samosas are good when dipped in the mint chutney. Way cheaper than other Indian places I have been to. Under 9 bucks for the biryani when I went there and its well over 10 any other place you go. Well worth a visit. Just dont go during peak hours, the place is small.

Never enter this place. I dont trust the chefs here anymore. My goat biryani was put together mixing some chicken rice and some goat pieces. I found Chicken bones in the goat biryani. I personally gave the owner a feedback and he assured me he would offer me a goat biryani free the next time. And the next time, not just he charges me, I have a similar experience. I got a chunk of tamarind with the seeds inside the biryani. Would never recommend this place ever.

Have you ever used coke to put food down your throat? If you want to see how that works, I Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was cold and disgusting. The nan looked like it was made 3 months ago and service was just so amazing..the server didnt even know whats on the menu. Total disgrace to Pakistani food.

Only one person available to cook and greet. Tables were dirty, walls had smudges and there were ants everywhere! I could see that in a place in the city with an old bldg but this is the county. There is pest control. Food smelled good but I didnt stick around long enough.

I dig this place. The nan is good, the service is personable, and I can get in and out quickly. Dont expect fine dining - its no frills. You get your soft drinks from a can and they run low on lamb alot. The prices are outstanding and the food is good.

Food was okay. Service was awful. Although the lady was nice, we waited for about twenty minutes after we ate our food for the check, but then decided to ask one of the workers because no one would give it to us. Overall just an awkward experience.

The Goat Biryani is not Goat, they sell LAMB as Goat in this store and probably old stuff. The biryani was smelling and i am positive that it was LAMB sold as Goat
