I am better acquainted with traditional Japanese restaurants, but took my wife to this new place in the Highlands (WV). We got there shortly before the dinner rush on a Friday and sat at the tables rather than the grill. My wife had the New York steak and scallops and really enjoyed it. I had the Bento box with Salmon teriyaki, tempura, California roll and shumai. Sadly, my dinner was awful. The tempura vegetables were over cooked and mushy; the salmon was also overcooked, dry, hard around the edges and served on a bed of onions which were too strong and overpowered the sauce and salmon. The California roll was the only acceptable part of my dinner. Normally I would have complained and/or sent the dinner back. However, being my wifes birthday -- and her meal being good -- I decided not to. The service was almost non-existent, with the waitress bringing me the wrong drink; she never asked if we needed more drinks. She stopped by once and asked how everything was, but she was gone before I could even lift my head up from my plate. Literally. My wife spoke up and said "Everything was fine" but before she could get "everything" out the waitress had walked away. It appeared the groups around the grills were having a good time, and if you like the flashy dinner prep, then this may be your place. For me, it was not. We will not return.

When I went there for the first I was surprised about the decor because I liked how one side of the restaurant was hibachi while the other side was just regular tables. The food from the chef wasnt really appetizing because the fried rice didnt have enough soy sauce to get the flavor. They give little vegetable and the steak was okay, but the shrimp was cooked fully and how I noticed is that when I took a bite out of it, the shrimp tasted raw and not fully cooked towards the middle and inside. The sushi was pretty good but when I got a spicy roll or whatever it was, it wasnt even spicy. The difference from this kind of steakhouse from the other kinds are that they are more energetic with the music and a little goofy- take no offense. They acted more, childish compared to other steakhouses. Other steakhouses looks like they take their jobs for seriously because they dont act that goofy. I mean like the chefs can talk and make the customers laugh but Fusion like takes it to a while new level. I didnt really like the food- thats an opinion!

I was pleasantly surprised by this sushi bar. For being in WV, it had pretty good sushi. I ordered a California roll, Philly roll, and Spicy Tuna roll- all 3 were pretty good, with nothing to rave about, but were on the skimpy side. As for extras I ordered a miso soup which was very flavorful, but was FULL of tofu and seaweed...these should only be a small portion of the soup. I also did not like the gritty texture in the bottom of the bowl. Lastly, I got an order of Shrimp Tempura- that was the best dish by far. It was some of the best tempura ive ever eaten, although it would have been better if they hit it with a little bit of salt out of the frier. One complaint: the dipping bowls for the sushi and tempura were very shallow and awkward, other than that, I would come here again.

Food was awesome, service was awesome, chef was awesome. Went with 7 people for a birthday and we had a really fun time. We were on the hibachi side. Birthday boy ate free which was cool. Chef squirts sake in everyone mouth.. first time any of us had seen that. Food and atmosphere are top notch. Get the shrimp! Many of us, including myself, rarely like shrimp but this was something else. So much flavor... wished that I had ordered more of it. Everyone in our party, including a picky 3 year-old, were impressed with the food. We pretty much ordered everything on the menu.. chicken, steak, shrimp, filet, fried rice, lo mein... all great. Got my daughter to try a few new things. Thanks Fusion.

I was visiting my family in Wheeling for my Aunts birthday. We decided to try out Fusion. The Hibachi chef we had was very entertaining. He was funny and skillful. Our whole family had a great time sitting around the table and watch the chef do tricks. Our food was great too, I really liked their salad dressing. So if you are looking for a place for family dinner with a touch of fun. you should definitely consider Fusion, the kids will love it.

Its an amazing place! I love going there with my family. I went there for my 11th b-day. They gave me fried ice cream and played a very funny birthday song. They play it a few times and it gets stuck in your head a little bit. When they cook right in front of you, they make onion volcanoes, they throw rice and you can catch it in your mouth, and spin eggs! Its a fun place and the food is amazing!

Soo much fun! The staff was very polite; nicest group of people. looked like they were having a ball. It was definitely an experience to remember. Have never been to a hibachi restaurant. We were in the area cause we was at Cabelas and it was spur of the moment because the other couple we were with was hungry as well. It was a fun atmosphere. The food was amazing. Definitely going back!

This is the first I ate there. The food was fantastic. Some of the best tasting food Ive had. The show was entertaining and the cook was humorous. My only complaint and literally the only one is the cost. It is pricy. My meal and a drink, plus taxes and a tip that they automatically included (18%) came to a whopping $52. Thats for one person!. But like I said the food was amazing..lol

Was given a moldy lime slice in my drink and cold food on a not-busy night. Was disgusting! Ate in the traditional dining section (not hibachi).

Amazing hibachi, amazing food, amazing service! Everything was wonderful! I will say it is a little costly, but it was worth the pay!
