That is where I’m at right now with this place but I will review you instead. Three times I have been there and three times the same twit has screwed up. 1st time. I was called a F****** B**** because I told her our glasses were empty, our sushi was not ordered, and then the attitude. The manager on duty told me that she is always like that unless you are a male without a wedding ring on hand. OK! I moved on. 2nd time. Spicy tuna roll tasted like it was left in the hot sun and then refrigerated for a couple days. They tried to give me another one out the same stock. YUCK! 3rd time. Ordered online gave 30 min. Drove there to hear from same server that “Oh our online ordering is down. (BTW the phone is off too can’t pay the bills anymore aye! Business is bad I guess with service so bad) So I waited. I waited alongside another individual who had the same thing going on. I got offered a drink. She didn’t. Is it because she was African American and I am European? Or because I ordered more money’s worth…. Shouldn’t matter. So I walk out and go. I get to my destination and what do I find. No salads no spicy mayo THAT I ORDERED!!! Call up, speak with manager (different from first manager) I get the same bloody apology she always gives. Well you can come back and get it. Yeah ok that’s why I ordered take out! Then she says well my hostes is new…. Wait what?? The same girl with the braid…. NO! She has been there a while is she gold to ya’ll…. Ya’ll never do anything about her. So I hang up. Service sucks, management sucks…. Sake House you need to clean house or you will go down the drain like the rest of the businesses in Beaufort if you aren’t already.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First, the shrimp that I ordered wasnt cleaned before it was cooked. Our cook tried to give us the shrimp before is was completely cooked. We had to ask him to put it back on for more time. Shortly after we all got our food, there was a LONG blond hair found in rice in one of our plates. We immediately seeked who we thought was the manager. He wanted us to pay for a meal that had hair in it and offered a discount (for food that wasnt water) all of our rice was cooked together, none of us finished our meals. A woman came over, role unknown, and begins to explain that all employees wear caps while working with food. We told her that had nothing to do with our food. We didnt bring in a blond hair. We all have dark hair. Needless to say. We had horrible service. Food was not enjoyable. I wouldnt recommend to anyone. Stay away from this place. Gross. Disgusting. Not worth the money or headache.

After being seated by the hostess, and waiting 10 minutes we had to ask a server if they could take our order. Server was not knowledgeable about menu, didnt ask questions about what temperature our food should be cooked to. We realized this immediately after ordering our food but never saw the server to ensure it was cooked to our liking. Miso soup was flavorless. After we received our main courses, which were incorrect, we inquired about our sushi. We were told it should be out soon. We cancelled the sushi order and asked for a box to put our food in. The server did remove the sushi and gave a 15% discount but we would have preferred to pay full price and get our order cooked correctly and received in a timely fashion. **UPDATE** Went back with a party of five, about the same experience as above, but this time they included a 18% gratuity. For a party of five? My daughter didnt even order an entree.

I have been in this establishment several times and the in house service is a little better than making a to go order!!! I have on 3 separate occasions ordered food to go and it was absolutely horrible. On my last to go order, I decided to call back to let them know that my food was cold, wasnt fresh and very scarce!!! The young lady immediately got irritate and yelling "Its fresh...just cook...not cold"!! It was very visible that the shrimp was old and hard!!! The rice was even hard and the vegetables only consisted of zucchini!!!! This experience has taught me and my family to seek other Japanese establishments such as YAMA in Port Royal S.C.....and it was absolutely great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a trashy place they dont mind seating you at a filthy grill with many excuses as to why it is not clean. Will threaten to call the authorities if you complain and for the love of God dont complain while being black, I did not complain to the manager because warning comes before destruction. A server warned me against complaining while black. Me and my husband are hibachi fanatics but this experience has scared us both. Mizu in Port Royal was immaculate compared to this dump. No real greeting upon entering , I stayed for the sake of my husband but will not be returning for a free meal. Thanks for a very disappointing meal and service.

Horrible experience! Not happy at all! Order the combo chicken and shrimp to go and paid $23 and the amount of food I received is very sad and the quality is very poor. I wish I could take a picture of this mess. Really this is not $23 worth of food. They have your food in a tray with 3 dividers with rice meats and vegetables. The chicken is floating some water down sauce no flavor. Barely any vegetables I counted five pieces of broccoli six onions celery and 5 pieces of carrots and 8 pieces of shrimp. Dont waste your money because u will be disappointed. I guess it better to eat in-house. This entree should be a $16 value.

The sum of my experience was having the staff complain about the tip. To my surprise, the waitress believed that I was required to leave a larger amount. Therefore, allow me to add to your TIP: Providing gratuity is always voluntary. The only requirement for the customer is to pay for the food provided. I would recommend that in the future, dont argue with the customer about something so minuscule. Your food is not that great and is overall priced compared to other restaurants in town. Because of this experience for me, youve lost a repeat customer!

Worst place you can go to in beaufort. Staff was very unprofessional. I ordered online and as soon as i pulled up one of the staff was smoking at the entrance. My order came out ro $73 and i dont have a problem with paying that price if the food was great. Paid my food and the female who ran my card was on her phone the whole time. The staff behind her was using profanity. If i could rate this place with zero stars i would.

Food was good! Than we got the bill and I was charged an 18 percent gratuity for the entire table that included other people I didnt know! That 18 percent was for "the show" per the waiter and didnt include his tip. So I had to tip him an additional 10 dollars! So my 50 dollar dinner tab turned into 70. We wont be back due to the "computer glitch". Watch your bill and keep posting if it happens to you!
