This place is truly amazing, the best sushi Ive come across after trying a lot of places throughout Pennsylvania. The price you can not beat, plus they do take out. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable, and decorated very ornately, the big Marlin above the bar looks really cool. They also have a little party room in the back if you want a more private setting. The workers are extremely friendly and cheerful, they give the right amount of service. If you can not tell Im a fan.

surprisingly good. we are from Chicago so we have numerous great Sushi places we were headed home from Maryland n i did some sushi reasearch while my wife was driving. yes its about 20 minutes off of 70 but it was good. BIG note. Beaver is a dry town just like wedding we just attended lol. just tossing that out there in case u like to have a Japanese beer or Sake with yur Sushi it cant happen unless u BYOB

After hearing from multiple people how good Yama was, we decided to check it out for ourselves. First off, the sushi was fantastic. It was very fresh and they had many different things to pick from. The rolls are also a good size and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was very friendly. This is just the kind of place that Beaver needs. We will definitely be eating at Yama more often.

luv their food, but portions are small, the lunch box gives u a couple california sushi pieces as decorations/hord oeuvres i wish they would skip the sushi and give me some vegetable tempura with my teriyaki chicken it would be 5 stars. Kinda expensive for the small portions. In the fall they give a discount if u pay in cash. its 7.50 for lunch time bento box lunch instead of 9

It was amazing the food was cooked to perfection and tasted even better!! Steak was juicy and extremely flavorful along with the chicken being moist and flavored perfection! On top of that staff was amazing and extremely polite and was consistent! Prices were very well marked for the quality of the food! Definitely going back!! Great experience!!

Great Prices. With a group getting about 8 to 9 rolls the bill will average about 50 to 60. which beats any other sushi spot. The quality of food is top notch, never slimy or overly fishy. Dancing lobster is the best roll in my opinion. Also, their presentation is really cool. I would for sure recommend this place.

This is one of my favorite Friday date night spots it is affordable. I love to get the scallop dinner, it comes with rice, veggies, soup, & salad. My boyfriend will usually get sushi then we share our dinners, the scallop dinner is big enough to share. Friendly staff, attentive waiters, Ive never had a complaint!

Lived in San Francisco for 40 years so I know good Japanese faire. The miso soup was good. The fried calamari was tough, unedible. Tried the tempura, shrimp was good, unfortunately the vegetable tempura was a big miss...coating was terrible .. not the same as the shrimp. Next time Ill try the sushi.

I had the Sushi & Sashimi Dinner for One. The fish was fresh and had great color and flavor. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Im usually very picky about my sushi and Yoma made the cut. I will definitely be visiting again next time in in town. Delicious!

Today It was my first time in this restaurant and I went there because of the nice review I saw here and I loved it!!!! Great food, very nice and clean environment, it isnt the cheapest place but it is affordable and its worth every penny EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED.

Yama! Noodle dishes are really good, spider roll is great! Clear soup is deliciously cloudy, wierd servers who will only come over to you when you dont need service. Refuse to serve when you do want service. Its strange, but yummy....

Best Sushi in Beaver County, actually maybe even Western Pennsylvania! No body competes with Yama and there fresh fish, reasonable prices, and lunch specials. Beaver offers a variety of stops, Yama is your sushi destination hands down!

Were a 20-sething couple that lives in Beaver and are so happy to have local sushi joint! The sushi is pretty good and the presentation of their food is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit and we really hope they stick around!

Great atmosphere and food! If you love sushi and/or Japanese cuisine give Yama a try. I think you will be surprised with this little jewel of a restaurant in the shopping district of downtown Beaver, PA!

The food was ok...service maybe could have been friendlier...they have pretty good sushi for the area...what i got was ok at best. I will go back but only for sushi.

Great sushi with great variety. Definitely recommend the Dancing Eel Roll, the Yama roll, and the Shrimp Tempura Roll, as well as the Tempura in general.
