Disgusting. Basically overpriced taco bell. We ordered the combination plate and realized that the tortillas were store bought and not house made. Same with the cheese. When confronting the owner about it he was extremely rude, saying "we dont own a cow" and telling us that he cant afford to make tortillas homemade. Seriously? We barely ate anything and told them we didnt want to pay because the food AND service was HORRIBLE. Upon saying this the owner cussed at us and said he was calling the cops. I calmly said ok I will be waiting outside to talk with them. Turns out he was bluffing and never called them, trying to trick us into paying. He also told us that the bad quality food was only for Americans who ordered the combination plate because it was cheaper. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! The owner is a money hungry snob and doesnt care about his customers. Maybe he will learn a lesson when his sales drop.

Terrible experience! After finishing our meal, a child with us finished up her soda and took off the top to find several ants crawling around in her cup. She was absolutely horrified, and very upset as you can imagine. When we confronted our server about it, and asked to speak to a manager it took about 20-30 minutes before he came back to our table to tell us the manager could not be reached. We asked to have our meal comped (which they did), but it took quite a bit of discussing to receive this. The server said they were aware they had an ant infestation problem, and they were trying to get rid of them. Being aware of this you would think they would be very careful checking food and sodas, but they seemed the least bit concern, nor did they think it was important to notify the others drinking soda in the restaurant. Very disappointed!

used to love the food. my fav was the macho burrito. I always order it with extra sauce but now all of a sudden they are charging $2.00 for a lunch order for extra sauce and $4.00 for a dinner order for extra sauce. The manager told me the owner changed it in august of last year. I showed him a receipt from his restaurant that showed I was not charged for the extra sauce in october. Plus most restaurants tell you there is an extra charge for extra sauce. I was not told there was an extra charge. I would be willing to pay $1.00 for extra sauce but $2.00 and $4.00 is just too much. I have never seen restaurants charge more than $1.00 for extra sauce, gravy or dressings. I wont be going back. I will stick to the Acosta franchises because they dont charge for extra anything.

Horrible Service! Our waiter was kind rude, I think his name was Pedro. He never asked how our food was. The Margarita was nasty, couldnt even drink it, it was all mix , we sent it back and the waiter gave attitude about. When he dropped the check he just said he took the margaritas off dropped the check on the table and walked off. We went to pay and there was no one up front, my husband went in to the bar and pay, the bartender gave him attitude and wouldnt let him pay. My husband have to find a waiter just to pay. Will never go back! And the food was mediocre . I ordered ceviche and it tasted like it had been sitting for a while. It only had fish, no shrp or crab. Not what I was expecting or hoping for.

Highly would recommend to not go to this Mexican restaurant... They have a very poor customer services... Yet my meal was okay but the greatest, my brother ordered and got his food and was hardly even warm and not cooked well... When they came to ask if our entrees were good. We had made a complain to ask for a new one or just take it off our ticket, we also asked to speak to the manager... The server never returned! Yet he was chit chatting with his co workers and and not trying to resolve the issue... The manager came to our table 16 minutes later... Another stranger had to get the managers attention for us to get service again... Super disappointing and we will never return to this restaurant.

If youre in the mood for fantastic Mexican food then get yourself to the La Costa restaurant. Their food is fabulous. Weve been looking for a place to eat Mex food since our favorite restaurant went out of business. Over the past two years weve tried every Mexican restaurant we could find in the Vancouver area. The instant I tasted the mole sauce on tonights dinner I knew it did not come out of a can. Deelish. Everything but the chips was made from scratch. Besides good food, the place is clean. We watched as a table was cleared. The surface of the table was washed 3 times before they reset it with silverware! This is our new, most favorite Mexican food place.

I really love La Costa. The staff are always quick, and on their feet to give the best dining service! I cant believe that some people have had some harsh things to say about this place. Ive seen and met the manager in person, and he seems great! Very intentive. La Costa restaurant is high quality and supports our troops too. Yes, I mean that. Most of their staff are reservists! So next time you visit make sure to thank your busser or server for not only delivering your food to the table but for serving our Country! Before you judge this great restaurant, Go try it first! Especially if you love shrimp tacos like I do!

Do not go here to eat. From the time we walked through the door the hostess was very unfriendly and to me looked like she didnt care about customer service. We get to our table and order and once they brought the food the waiter disnt even know who the food want to. Also it seems like the waiters have no flow at all and just go to random tables. Next we got our food and I took one bite and noticed there was a really long nasty hair in my food. I gave my plate to a waiter and he didnt even apologise not compensate for my meal. Will never go here again. They were a waste of money. The worst customer service Ive ever had.

Ok. What? Went here a few days ago for lunch. Had a great meal. I noticed that the lunch menu said.... Lunch menu available from 9 to close for happy hour. Ok. After a gathering of girls, 9 rolls around and I say hey lets go here. Mention that were here for their happy hour menu. Told only in the bar, and handed a menu that wasnt the same and with maybe 6 items. Our bartender was difficult, we might not have been in great moods, but it wasnt really a great time. Sports at full volume above our heads. Menu items didnt come as stated or as ordered. Never been disappointed before. I hope lets just a fluke.

Extremely rude. Not clean. Seats are falling apart. I hope they get shut down. The plate/food was microwaved. To give it the fresh out the oven heat. It tasted as if it was under a heating lamp all night. The beans were cold in the middle and my rice was stale. My enchilada had nothing but chicken and soggy tortilla. When I talked to the waiter, I got a nonchalant Oh its good. Its not microwaved. You enjoy. Probably only good experience was after talking to 3 different men. I got half my money back. Many people have told me its garbage and thank God someone stood up to them.
