I was carded today and was denied a refreshing beverage due to a legally issued license. The employee that rang in the order was in disbelief that the expiration date was correct. In thinking my license was a fraud I was denied. I would like the employee to know that this is real for future refference, the OLCC has a list of contact numbers if questions arise such as this. All restaurants should be aware of the different states legal documents as covered in the OLCC classes one would take to recieve thier service permit... In addition to the lack of knowledge, the server was not kind in any way concerning this matter. Rude from the start. Here is a frequntly asked question on the Arizona DMV website proving the expiration date is correct... 36) Does my driver license expire at age 60? No. At one time driver licenses were issued with an expiration date on the driver’s 60th birthday. Then the law changed to extend the expiration date an additional five years to age 65. The computer record for those licenses was automatically updated to reflect the new expiration date. If you have a license that indicates that it expires at age 60, you may continue to use the license you have. No action on your part is required. However, because it has the old expiration date, it may no longer be viewed as a valid document when you present it as a means of identification. If you have a digital photo on file, you may obtain a replacement (duplicate) license showing the new expiration date. To obtain a duplicate license you have three options: Online - ($4.00, MCVisaAmExDiscover credit cards only) Phone - ($4.00, MCVisa credit cards only) Mail - Send a letter requesting a duplicate license to the address below; include your name, address, driver license number and date of birth. (Make check for $4.00 payable to Motor Vehicle Division) Please allow 4 weeks processing time. MAIL DROP 510 MOTOR VEHICLE DIVISION PO BOX 2100 PHOENIX AZ 85001-2100

been working in the pearl for two years now and eat here at least every other week or more. food always tastes great and the prices are great as well. but as for a personable experience i have always been surprised. i will be brief but, in the years of being a patron with only 2 employees that EVER work the counter; no many how many times i used to say hello or hola; or thank you or gracias. i get the feeling that these 2 servers make a point to never show any customer rememberence or appreciation. i know this isnt wrong but i almost get the feeling they do this on purpose. 2nd chas can get very busy we all know, which at these times i have no problem waiting. but when i arrive and there is no one line and maybe only one person eating i think "cool, less wait" . on several occassions i have ordered when both the male and female server and no orders are being taken; they will see mine and or peoples food come up ready. rather than bring the food to the customers they will look at it and then engage in a conversation w/ each other; sometimes for sveral minutes. then 1 will take the new order while the other listens. somtimes after several more minutes of chatting, one of the servers will finally clear the food off the ready counter ad deliver it. i know this sounds cinical but it happens a lot when not busy... so dont think that not being busy means anything... theyll just chat in spanish doing nothing while watching you try not to look at back and forth from them chatting and yu burrito sitting

We used to love going here. In fact we have been customers for many years. However, I feel we can no longer give this place a good rating ever since the staff has changed over. We never had problems and always had friendly service and now they seem to get our orders wrong more often than not and we now wait much much longer for our food to be brought to the table. Last time we went my food came out cold and terrible tasting and my husband's order they got wrong. When we told them the error, they came back to us with the order slip and said to us that "what we got was written right here". And that we ordered wrong. I'm sorry but that is just poor customer service. We know what we ordered. We have ordered the same thing for years. If a counter person writes the order wrong it is not the customers mistake and should just be corrected. The customer should not be accused of doing something wrong. And we practically had to fight with them to correct the order. That is just poor customer service. We decided that was the final straw and probably will find a new cheap taco joint.

I cant say enough amazing things about Cha Cha Chas Catering. Javier was laid back and easy to work with. He set up a tasting for us and designed a menu to cover all our needs plus show off the amazing local and vegetarian food here in PDX to all our wedding guests. The day of the wedding, the people that came out to work the event were incredibly patient, kind and helpful. I was totally and utterly blown away by their organization and great attitudes. "Oh, you forgot to bring the signs for the food items? No worries! well stand here and explain what things are to people." "oh youre running a little behind schedule? No worries, well make sure everything is ready when you are!" "by the way, heres a bunch of containers so you can take home your leftovers. Well clean up and disappear before you even notice!" They were so awesome in fact, I must have had at least 6 people come up and tell me how impressed they were with the crew. The food, needless to say was awesome. It always is, but to have guests comment on the staff? Now THATS amazing service!

Ive been to Cha Cha Cha in the Pearl a few times these past few months - the food is fresh, delicious, and spicy. I thoroughly enjoy going there for some great food which is quite easy on the wallet. The last time was the first week in February when I ordered their Cha burrito, a delicious beef concoction. Unfortunately it contained a rock, not a pebble, but one the size of a small molar tooth. Showing the rock to the guy behind the counter taking orders, he said he has known of the problem this past week and the batch of beans they received recently contains rocks. There was no "sorry", no comped meal, just a fact of life that their beans contain rocks. I hope this rock fiasco doesnt last long. Why dont they comb through the dried beans and pull out the rocks before cooking them?!?!? What else gets into the food that they dont bother removing?

Fresh tasty tacos! Not much in the way of atmosphere, just a basic hole-in-the-wall tacqueria with a few small tables, but a great place for lunch or take-out. Line is almost always out the door, even at off-times. Huge list of meat / seafood options for the tacos. Entrees are very large portions. Beans and rice are nothing special, but the guac is fresh and good (and enormous). To drink, stick with beer - the margaritas arent that great.

The worst thing was the "pork" in the enchilada I ordered was mostly just very unappetizing gobs of fat. Other than that, the food was okay but bland and not very interesting. The man who took the order got it wrong and seemed unusually unfriendly, almost rude. On the positive side though, the woman who brought the food to our table did correct the mistake in a friendly fashion, and prices didnt seem too high. Doug
