Rock solid and simple. Cant beat the price and the flavor is good. If you are looking for high quality or really traditional Mexican food, this is not your place. I usually try a range of the tacos to figure out a taquerias strengths. I got the mi taco, cabeza, pescado and all pastor. The mi taco is good. Very saucy, but good flavor and composition. It was my first time trying cabeza, and I didnt find it to my liking. I liked the consistency, which was very soft and tender, but the flavor from the meat I didnt like. The pescado was solid and had a lot of meat. It had good flavor, nothing to write home about. The only thing I didnt like was the al pastor. Very saucy and sweet, without any of the smokiness that comes from good fire roasted al pastor. However, I would avoid the nachos. They come from a cheese machine. Ill come back and try a couple more things. If I find some solid strengths, Ill bump up the review.

Prices are low ingredient qualit is good, with somethings being really good othere not. Some traditional Mexican dishes including tamales, lengua, and machaca. Parking is a trick either on the street or in the small lot behind the building. I mostly had tacos fish, tilapia with cheddar cheese and lettuce? caritas, very wet and greasy, could use a quick pan fry. And taquitios, greasy and bland. Lengua taco though was very good! havent given up will try again later, and maybe try some of the more other foods, and those buritos.

We were looking for cheap tacos, so we ordered from here at $1.60 a piece. For that price I didnt expect to recieve such a yummy, REAL food tasting non-fast food taco. The shell was handmade and still warm. The beef in our tacos tasted like a roast or brisket! I ordered 2 and couldnt finish my second one they are so huge! This is now our go to taco place!

I love this place. The folks who run Mi Burrito are super friendly and so genuinely happy to make authentic Mexican food. Its a damn good price too. I wouldnt recommend everything on the menu, but I do recommend the Al Pastor burrito or tacos and the flan. Id avoid the fries, but... Its a Mexican restaurant. Go for the Mexican food.

This place is the bidness! Coming from someone raised on tijuana street tacos (the best ever) and SoCal taquerias, I have been longing for some thing that tastes like home. And after trying various spots around Portland, this place is now my go to spot. Their Al pastor and their cabeza are outstanding!

Decent, inexpensive Mexican food served by friendly folks in a very clean place. Escabeche is super fresh and their salsa rojo has some chipotle in it. Dont expect to be blown away by the basics. We got chicken and beef. Next time Ill branch out for some al pastor or lengua in search of bigger flavors.

OMG this is my new found heaven. I eat here at least twice a week maybe three times. The Big Burrito and his wife make it a very comfortable environment and really make it a family owned business. Can not say what is my favorite because everything is so good.

This place is what i want when im hungry for mexican food. My burrito was super flavorful, it wasnt dripping in grease, and it completely filled me for $5.50. Im lucky i dont live nearby or id be eating there 3-4 times a week!

If you are into things like plentiful veggies, good prices and great service then you should come here. Side note: they dont have beer so be sure to be as tipsy as you want before you arrive. They also do to-go orders.
