i cant believe i havent noticed this place after living in tukwila for 3 years and always heading across the street to the thai and sushi places. i guess i never thought good restaurants reside in strip malls, but i was wrong. i had read that grazie uses locally grown produce so i wanted to give it a try. the place was packed early on a monday night; there were many families, which impressed me. the waitstaff seemed italian and gave an authentic atmosphere. i dont appreciate the tacky mobiles hanging from the ceilings, but whatever. our server was very pleasant and appeared whenever we needed something, though she neglected to refill the waters. bread was served first with super-yummy garlicky olive oil. they have calamari as an appetizer either fried or sauteed and also calamari steak in a wine/lemon butter/shallot/artichoke heart sauce, which is so difficult to find. it was overly salty and rich but i ate every bite and managed to find room for dessert only because the choices were impossible to ignore. our party shared key lime pie, tiramisu, and a strawberry cream something or another, all excellent. everyone loved their meals and i will be going back to grazie as soon as possible with my sweetie and recommend it to my guests.

I work in the same strip mall, so as often as Im able, I support my neighbors. NOT simply because they are neighbors but because the food is awesome! I am always asked how my meal is by 4 or 5 employees, whether they are my wait person or not. The service is fast, efficient & friendly. I enjoy sitting at the bar & watching the cooks. They are amazingly quick at what they do. Its a good show to watch. I appreciate top notch professionals at work & this place has several. Every dish I have tried is great! As one who prefers a few tasty spices to bring my food alive, this is perfect! The prices are quite reasonable for what you get. The lamb rack is superb! I like the spiced olive oil for dipping the bread. Its easy to tell how popular Grazie is because at every meal time, the parking lot is completely packed! That speaks volumes!

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. Just finished having lunch here with my coworkers for a retirement get-together - I am allergic to gluten and dairy, and requested that my meal not be made with either of these items. When my meal arrived, it was not gluten or dairy free. I waited for them to remake it, and when it was brought out again the waitress told me they had given me gluten free pasta to go along with my chicken and vegetables, however there was cheese all over the pasta and the vegetables. As my coworkers had all finished their lunch I just ate the very dry, over-cooked chicken. When my bill arrived, I was charged the full price for my meal. After paying the waitress offered me a coupon for $10 off my next visit if I purchased two entrees... What a joke. I will never visit this establishment again.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal here at the restaurant. Staff definitely went out of their way to make sure that I got a table for my reservation at 7 p.m. The cannelloni was exquisite as well as the spaghetti with meatballs, however they could use a kids option for "add a meatball" on their kids menu. The side salad was actually very good as well as the bread however they ran out of bread before the end of our meal. The wine was extremely reasonably priced in service was beyond what I could have hoped for. If Im in the area again and craving Italian food I will definitely go to this restaurant.

My wife and I go out often in Seattle, The Eastside and the Southend. There are plenty of dining options in the southend, but most are chain restaurants and not very intimate. Grazies, on the other hand, feels very local and intimate. Although the restaurant is small, theyve done a good job separating the spaces to make each table as private as it can be. Weve dined at Grazies at least a dozen times and have always had good service, great food and an overall good value. If youre looking for a romantic restaurant with great Italian food in the Tukwila/Renton/Kent area, this is great choice.

Let me first say that the food is a 5. But the service from our waiter was the worst. He first reached over my food and almost had his shirt sleeve in my plate, and when I asked him not to reach over my plate he got a attitude and was rude to my 21 year old daughter (who was being selective because of her pregnancy) and after her second question about the menu he became exasperated. I informed the manager and he was PERFECT. He offered my party great service afterwards. SO my low score is because of the horrible service from the initial waiter. The food and atmosphere was great though.

This place is a hidden gem--and I really mean pretty hidden. Ive driven past it plenty of times and would never have expected to find a lovely Italian restaurant buried in the Tukwila strip mall sprawl. The food was great--particularly the seasonal specials. They seemed to have a good combination of classics and unusual seasonal takes on Italian food. The atmosphere is lovely and much nicer than you would expect given the look from the outside. This would be a great date spot or place for a dinner with a small group of friends.

Pretty expensive restaurant; dont expect this to be a cheap dinner if youre looking for some Italian. We spent over $100 for 5 people. That was with a glass or 2 of wine but 2 smaller portion plates which are about $10 each I think. The lasagna slice was also not as big as we expected it to be, but the regular pasta plate servings are pretty big. The food is pretty good if you know what youre ordering, but I dont think its worth the price we paid. Probably paying more for the atmosphere; it was a nice setting.

The food is mediocre. They definitely make their sauces, etc. so theyre better than a chain, but the food is just meh, especially for the price. My husband and I happened to get two of the cheapest meals on the menu (between $15 and $18 bowls of pasta). If I pay that much for sauce on boxed noodles it better be amazing, and it wasnt. Id say its my fault for going to an Italian restaurant in a strip mall in Tukwila, but then it shoulda been cheaper...

We have always had good service and everything that we have ordered has been great. Most recently I had the linguine de mare and the veal meatballs. Both were excellent. There were 2 large prawns, 3 muscles in addition to scallops and white fish. The meatballs were well seasoned and the tomato sauce had a really rich flavor. All around great experience and it is interesting to watch them prepare the dishes at the kitchen seating.

Our go-to special occasion spot, Its always a treat! Amazing, friendly staff. The calamari appetizer never disappoints, my personal favorite dish is the filetto gorgonzola with a rich balsamic gorgonzola sauce and frizzled onions (probably the best thing Ive ever tasted). Weve tried a number of other dishes, everything on point. I cant recommend this place enough! Reservations strongly recommended, no matter what day of the week.
