A perfect dinner in an upscale country garden atmosphere that makes you feel like your Italian grandmother is about to serve you some delicious dishes. The service was excellent, complete with white coated waiters and their crumb catchers. Our party of 5 shared all dishes family style, which they seamlessly accommodated without batting an eye. To Start: Fricasse Di Funghi Selvaggi - Wild mushrooms over polenta. Really savory mushrooms over a creamy, but not overwhelming cheesy polenta. Really good. Entrees: Ravioloni Di Pesce - Ravioli with crab, shrimp and spinach. Favorite pasta dish of the night. Pennette con Salmone - Creamy pasta with salmon. Salmon was a little overcooked, but flavors were delicious. Linguine Alle Vongole - I always say more garlic! Clams were small but plentiful, with pasta well done in its simplicity where you could eat the whole plate. Risotto of the Day -- Seafood risotto. The only dish that got mixed reviews from the group. Some said the chicken broth flavor was too strong and reminded them of Rice a Roni. Great variety of seafood though. Anitra Alle Ciliege Amarene - Free range duck with cherry grappa sauce, risotto, and broccolini. My favorite dish of the night. Duck was tender and flavorful. Risotto was a classic preparation with cheese. With all the pasta dishes we ordered, it came out to $35 pp, incl tip. Meat entrees were definitely pricier, esp if you throw in a glass of wine. Now that I know its well worth the splurge, Ill be back!

Service from the front desk was great in modifying reservation/coat check. Our server was awkward however and hard to hear. She successfully did our requested substitutions but then had our entrées come out before our salads (all for of us got salads so it wasnt a one off oversight). Her immediate response was to offer to cancel them, but we still wanted them so we just had them at the same time. Then at the end she basically implied that we could have free dessert or something because she messed up the food flow, and we were too full for dessert. We sort of expected that she might discount something else on the bill since she seemed to be trying to compensate, but she didnt. I like the occasional splurge for Italian, but Seattle has better options. The food is fine, but its not amazing and not worth the prices they charge. Wouldnt recommend and will not return. For reference, we ordered cocktails, wine, Caesar salads, burrata, and small pasta entrées of: clams with linguine, salmon penne, chicken with pesto fettuccini, and lobster mushroom risotto. We had a party of four and went on a Friday eveninging.

Sigh, when I went here I was expecting an experience on par with canlis and other top restaurants, I was very dissapointed. To start the server appeared disgusted that he had to serve us, and was very rude through out the meal. When we ordered our pasta dishes he even "accidentally" grated cheese on us. The food in and of itself was good, not great. The meat was all tender and cooked well, but it didnt really have that wow factor. It just wasnt worth the price. To seal off a rude service from our waiter he rolled his eyes at us when we asked to split the check, sorry Im not rich enough for your expectations. Maybe Im judging the food harshly based on the waiter, but for a dinner I was very excited for and was a special occasion I was very dissapointed.

I agree with most people that the service and atmosphere is of high quality. But the food is boring. Maybe my Louisiana palate expected a more flavorful experience but the food did not deliver. I was also disappointed with the wine list, not the quality of the selection, but I can guarantee almost all the vintages are wrong on the list. Now the average person may not think this a problem, but there is a huge difference between 2010 Italian wines and 2012. Overall it was a nice evening and my girlfriend and I enjoyed our experience. But we will be trying something new on our next visit.

Best Italian Dinning in Seattle. This establishment knows how to treat a guest. Something most restaurants seem to have forgotten these days. (Feel like servers these days expect a 20%+ tip for taking your order... maybe a water refill if you are lucky) Wait staff was attentive and made excellent recommendations towards menu items. Atmosphere was intimate (excellent date location) and prices were very reasonable given the quality of food and service.

The food is not remotely worth the price. I had a $38 osso buco that was tough and had a bland sauce. My sister had a fish that she was disappointed with. Even the basic pasta pomodoro and gnocchi just plain and blah. The service is good, and I can only imagine that thats what you are paying for. If you are looking for great italian, go to Spinassi or Cafe Lago. If you are looking for a special evening, go to Canils.

Weve eaten at Il Terazzo Carmine several times. While not inexpensive, the food and atmosphere are great. I disagree with the reviewer who claimed the food was overpriced. Our Supper Club (4 couples dining out once every 2 months) has chosen this restaurant twice - we all wanted to come back. Looking forward to the new Carmines in Bellevue opening this year.

Great hole-in-the wall Italian place that has an outside that is deceiving. The inside is a bit more fancy than the outside street view. The menu is rather large in its selection and they are able to make substitutions as requested. The price is a bit more than Olive Garden, but this is certainly a bit more upscale than Olive Garden as well. Great all around.

After a slightly rocky start, the service became a little over-attentive during a quiet weekday lunch. The food was OK, but put too much emphasis on garlic. (Good carpaccio, decent salad, good spaghetti, bland special duck risotto.) The ambience felt more like Switzerland than any restaurant I have been to in Italy. Not sure why this is rated so highly.

The atmosphere is really nice- kind of an upscale relaxing. They have excellent (& strong) craft cocktails and a nice wine selection. The food, while good, is overpriced for what you get. I ordered the lamb chops- expecting a meal- and got two little chops, and a couple slices of baguette. For $15 Id at least expect some rice or something on the side.

The gnocchi I had here for lunch was so dissapointing, I literally could not eat it. It was like bad cafeteria food. Everyone elses food was good, but not even close to the price point or to the very formal atmosphere. Old gray-haired people with no taste and too much money love this place.

The food any wine selection were great. They have some unique takes on Italian food that you wont find in most Americanized restaurants. I had the Spinach, Shrimp and Crab ravioli, which were very good and reasonably priced. The service was also impeccable.

Dont know how the food tastes, but the guy on the phone was so rude and arragonat, I decided against giving them any business. People- take your biz elsewhere, theres plenty of great Italian in town, and with great service. No need to settle for this place.

I took my family out for dinner for my Birthday. Food was excellent and so was the service. We loved the Ravioloni Di Pesce and also Tiramisu. Having free valet parking takes away a major headache common to most downtown restaurants.

Top notch Italian dining at a hefty, but appropriate, price point. The service is on passed with a higher end eatery and the food is tremendous. If I could afford it, Id eat here every week
