I went to go eat dinner at olive garden here in tacoma. As soon as I entered the door I was greeted by this one girl. She had to step away to assist a customer, there were other server beside her but they didnt acknowledge me at all but the customer behind me they did, they even took their name asked them to wait for a bit for an available seat. I wasnt asked nor seated. As the girl came back, she asked me if ive been help and I said no. I was literally waiting for 10 minutes just to be waited on. As soon as they got me seated, a the waitress asked what my order is gonna be? Without asking on how am I doing or hi, hello. She took my order. Ive been waiting and waiting for my order to arrive, good 40 mins. when they brought my order out, I expected it to be so hot coz ive been waiting. I touched the food, its cold. I had to ask for a to go box right away. It was horrible. I was so irritated I had to get outta there. Im never stepping to that place again. They are awfully rude! They should be trained about proper customer service. Id rather go grab a burger at mcdonalds than eat at that awfull place. They SUCK! I HATE IT!

After being passed up by our waiters several times while waiting for someone to take our order, we finally got a waiter who constantly hit on one of us, despite the three of us already being extremely annoyed. Afterwards we got our checks and realized that the waiters apparently didnt itemize our order correctly. The three of us, defeated and irritated at our terrible service, paid without tipping and left promptly after receiving our checks. The food was the usual Olive Garden fare: we each ordered soup and one of us ordered some food for later. Zuppa toscana x2, a chicken and gnocchi soup, and some chicken alfredo. Its hard to mess up our order since what we had was mostly bulk soup, but our friend who will be having the alfredo later will tell me how good/bad it is. Ill edit this later if its anything remarkable. TL/DR: The food was decent but nothing remarkable one way or another, however the service ruined it overall. Just to a different Olive Garden, or a Panera Bread.

This is the first restaurant review I have written because it is very hard to displease me with food. I ordered a to-go meal, which should have been a simple process. First, I stood there for 25 minutes after they told me it would be ready and no one even acknowledged my presence. My food finally came and there was nowhere for me to sign the receipt. While I was signing the receipt against a handrail, the waitress gave the food to my 4yr old autistic daughter. My daughter flung the bag and knocked the condiments off the table. Lastly we brought the food home and the steak was supposed to be a medium rare. It was well-done and dry. The stuffed mushrooms tasted as if they were in dish soap. Normally at this location we have bad service, but the food is normally good. This will be the last time my wife and I go to this location.

I usually love OGs salad. However, I ate at the Tacoma OG yesterday and was really disappointed. The salad was comprised of mostly the white spine part of the lettuce. What there was of the green leaves was wilted. There was only one olive, and even the croutons were soft. I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress. She said thats the way the salads have been for a while. A manager came to the table and said pretty much the same thing. Sorry but thats how it is. They didnt offer to bring me soup as an apology for the miserable excuse for a salad, nor did they offer to adjust the price or offer anything else to make up for it. I will never eat there again. Im not sure Ill ever eat at an OG again.

I walked in the restaurant and went to the hostess booth to have them direct me to the To-Go area. A group of employees were standing around the booth. Nobody acknowledged me until I was the first one who said "Hi" after being stared at by the employees. After receiving my to go order, I was walking out, passed the hostess both and didnt receive any acknowledgement until I was half way out the door... I briefly heard a "have a nice day" in an unenthusiastic tone... Really wish the service was better at the Tacoma Olive Garden location... I felt like a total idiot during my 10 min visit. Love the food, not a fan of the service at this location.

We went last night to celebrate my successful move and new job and Im glad we chose this location. The venue was clean, the food was delicious and our server was an absolute delight. Seriously, every time Ashley left the table someone was leaning over and whispering "I like her!" She was kind, energetic, attentive, and constantly left us smiling. She even left a note congratulating me on the move. My only complaint was that we had to eventually leave. Service can really make or break an evening - Ashley certainly made ours.

My wife and I stopped in to eat during lunch hours on Veterans Day for our complimentary soup and salad. It wasnt as busy as we expected but it was still packed so we chose to sit in the bar area to save from having to wait. Not certain of the names of the 2 wait staff but they were awesome! Despite what seemed to be 90% of the customers getting complimentary meals, the service was 1st rate! We dont expect much in terms of customer service on days like this but the waitress and waiter were superb! Great job!

My wife and I decided to go back after a long hiatus due to their menu changes several years ago. We probably wont go back ever again. While the service was good, the food was lacking in quality. The standard bread sticks and salad were okay, but my wifes manicotti was dry and the sauce was bland. My chicken marsala was rubbery and the potatoes were dry and tasteless. It is obvious that the restaurant is cutting corners in food prep in an attempt to increase profits.

It was really good but overpriced from 10.99 to 11.99 and the menu was different, usually you can choose your pasta, sauce then topping(s). But now theyre only letting you choose favorite that are "endless" that people have chosen. The chicken parmigiano I had was good but it came up to 20.00 and if it dinner I could understand that but dont do it for endless pasta. Over all good but over priced ☆☆12 - ☆☆☆

We had the buy one, take one deal. Nice helpful server, good food. The only reason I am going to give them 3 stars is because they do not let you have any breadsticks to go with the take one meal. We had some hard ones left on the table that we were welcome to, but couldnt get two fresh ones to go. Kinda lame. The pasta is better with the breadsticks.

Amazing service! They may not realize how much the little things matter but it mattered to me. I have lost a lot of my hearing, and when I mentioned it to my server Terek, he immediately faced me so I can read his lips. When I asked him to repeat things he was patient and kind. I will come back for that service alone, though the food was amazing too.
