wow. Just wow. Id seen reviews for this place, and having had bad experiences with other stores of the same type, I didnt want another round of being ignored in favor of the "right" people. This was amazing. The girl at the deli/bakery counter had excellent customer service. And the food was amazing. Plump, juicy cabbage rolls, real eastern European cakes with whipped cream and meringue layers, and pierosky--excellent pieroksy that puts that other "more famous" place so far in the shade its not even funny. I had the cabbage pierosky and it had a literal handful of super-flavorful, pickly, salted, al dente cabbage in it instead of the tasteless cabbage mush I was used to. Delicious. I cant wait to go back and try the rest. The supermarket part is all right, but the deli/bakery is a hidden jewel.

Самый классный и чистый русский магазин! Все свежее и не надо спрашивать "колбаса/рыба свежая и когда превезли? ". Не надо искать прострочку на коробках конфет. Не стыдно все подать на стол без проверки. Рабочие без характера даже, если вопросы тупые. Так держать, а другим пример!

Yesterday my wife and son went to this establishment. Wife bought some pastries but asked if it had nuts in the ingredients because my son is allergic to tree nuts and peanuts. They said no nuts so my wife purchase some. My son ate it and his face started to swell because of the allergic reaction. So my wife had to bring my son to the emergency at Madigan. You need to know whats in the ingredients before selling them. Something worst could of happened.

European market that you simple have to see to believe. They run a fresh (cold & hot) deli at lunch time. Try their cabbage rolls! Meats and cheese sliced to order in the back of the store... so many awesome things to mention... European candy (even the nice liquor filled ones), fresh breads, pies, ... Just stop by and see for yourself. You wont be sorry... but you will be back ;-)

All it took was one visit to the Parkland store and I have become a big fan of this store. The produce and veggies are top notch and seem to be the best prices in town. The deli serve great lunches! I have been amazed at how delicious the baked goods (pastries and cakes etc.) taste. The staff is very friendly and the store is very clean. I am really impressed with Marvel!

Marvel Food & Deli is one of the cleanest, nicest stores in the area. The staff is VERY helpful, which comes in handy when one encounters some of the many items that are not labelled in English. They have an AMAZING deli selection of meats and cheeses! Dont forget to stop by the European bakery for a dessert or to try the hot foods & salads!

We love this place. The bakery is delicious, and there is a hot deli with lots of Russian foods. They offer a borscht lunch that is delicious and very affordable. Also decently priced produce. Tons of Russian goods. The clerks there are really nice. Try the poppyseed strudel loaf, its amazing.

Wonderful European/Russian store. The bakery and deli are all made from scratch the best Ive found anywhere, this is my favorite store. Clean and well laid out. The staff are wonderful and speak Russian and English. The prices are great also. Dont forget to get an espresso on your way out.
