Yo no vuelo mi gente,.,....,............,.. Beware my people, the parking is not safe break windows and steal what little or much to bring. Incredibly the owner of the place does not care who gets hurt. My first time there and a bad experience, go elsewhere if you want a nightmare. It made me wonder when we arrived the place was almost deserted. I do not return my people

I am delighted to write this little review of my experience at The China Harbor Restaurant located along the western shore of Lake Union. We recently enjoyed a most phenomenal Chinese banquet. There were 60 in our party. The feast was simply OUTSTANDING! Each plate was presented attractively. All ingredients were fresh. Every entree was served hot to the table as if it just came off the stove. Every dish had its unique flavor, unlike most places where all dishes taste similar. The wait staff was efficient and friendly. And the water view of Lake Union was breath takingly beautiful. China Harbor Restaurant is indeed a Seattle treasure. It offers the best genuine Chinese cuisine available in the Pacific Northwest; it also caters to the Westerners’ palate. China Harbor is the recommended venue for entertaining just a few friends or for hosting a large group of up to 300. Thank you Mr. Sun for your years of unyielding dedication and devotion in serving fine food to us here in the Seattle area. The best wishes to you and your staff for continual success.

The baddest service, they are not polite, my order costed 10$ and they took 106$ from my bank account, They said the money will return to my account next two days, 7 days I have not received anything from them, I contact the bank and they said there is no deposit in your account, I tried to talk to the restaurant and explain the issue, they said that its not their problem, they said its the servicers problem, they dont want to do anything with me, also they said there is no manger in the restaurant to avoid finding a solution for my issue. I really dont recommend you to go there even if they restaurant is old and huge, they have bad service and the food not good at all, cheap taste. I swear you can find Chinese restaurants better than this.

We had our fathers 70th birthday party with 200 guests. I was amazed how bad the service was. If you have a contract with them for a big party, ensure to list all the services or menu in detail that you are paying for. At first, they didnt want to serve us a drink. We had to show the copy of the contract that documented to include soft drinks. In the end of course, we realized that we never got crab dish. According to their managers, they made a mistake serving beef dish instead of crab dish. The owner wouldnt take any responsibility on this mix up and blamed her manager. The manager didnt know how to deal with it. We were very disappointed, they are so unprofessional. I woudlnt recommend the restaurant for any special event.

I ordered Twice Cooked Pork and Szechuan Beef and the meat appeared to be the same. I know you may think I was mistaken but no. I was absolutely not mistaken- it appeared to be canned beef of some kind. It was beyond disgusting and was of obviously low quality. I also ordered Kung Pao Chicken which also appeared to be made with canned chicken. It didnt have green bell peppers, or onions, or any vegetable that you would normally expect. Just canned chicken and peanuts. I could barely eat it. We also ordered General Tsaos chicken, which was barely acceptable, but likely only because it was deep fried and covered in sugary syrup sauce. My friends and I will NEVER go there again. Worst waste of money Ive ever spent on food.

Last night I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal of Almond Fried Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Lovers Eggplant, and Hot and Sour Soup from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its makers have challenged my preconceptions about fine Chinese cooking, is a gross understatement -- they have rocked me to my core. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the men and women now cooking at China Harbor, who are, in this critics opinion, nothing less than the finest chefs in Seattle, if not Washington state. I will be returning to China Harbor soon, hungry for more

i attended a filipino charity event held in the ballroom of china harbor two weeks ago...and i greatly enjoyed the food here. the food was served buffet style with some interesting appetizers...jelly fish, beef tendon, and sweet cucumber...all quite tasty and an exciting experience for my taste buds. i decided to try dining in the restaurant for dinner after attending the event...and being the picky eater that i am, i will admit that the food was very good. the restaurant was very busy the night that i dined, so i had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but the wait is entirely worth it. i will be returning to china harbor for dinner time and time again.

Outstanding job that China Harbor did today for our buffet-family style for my daughters 21st birthday party. The catering order was for 130 people...although there are many great choices of Chinese restaurants around the Seattle area. Many of our clients are extremely happy with China Harbors banquets, food, and service. The BBQ pork and sesame beef are perfect appetizers for any special party, and we are sure to return to China Harbor for not only the service but truly the unparalled views of Lake Union. Thank you for making my daughters birthday so memorable! We will be sure to refer all our friends to this restaurant.

Ate here for Saturday lunch and so glad we did. Our window table had beautiful waterfront views of floating houseboats, lake and hills. Our waitress was very nice & recommended some dishes to try. We ordered 2 different Individual Dinner combos- Broccoli beef & Mongolian beef plus a Three Taste entree (Scallops, shrimp & chicken). Everything was absolutely delicious! Beef was tender, Seafood was not over cooked & Mongolian beef was just the right amount of spiciness. Pricing was very reasonable also. Would come back here again next time visiting. Hint: Go see "Sleepless in Seattle" house boat just 1/4 mile from here too)

Very much a throwback to American style Chinese food. Very lightly flavored, all the classics. Dinners include large portions of fried rice and an entree, egg rolls, cold, dry BBQ pork slices, and a cup of lightly flavored soup. Dining room was empty when we got there (late on a Saturday) but we still had a decent wait for food as well as a long wait for the check after dinner. The setting was very traditional Chinese dining room, with a gorgeous view of Lake Union. Not a bad meal all around, especially if you just want American style Chinese.

The best part of the meal was shrimp, though not all of them were properly deveined. The entrees did not come out at the same time and were lacking color, vegetables or flavor. My half duck was late and barely warm, and I had to ask for a knife. The decor was dirty, the tablecloth was dirty, my plate was dirty, and the view was obscured by dirty windows. The atmosphere of bad elevator music and staff yelling made this easily the worst restaurant experience Ive had in a long time. Its no wonder it was nearly empty on a Saturday night.
