The Varsity Inn isnt just for breakfast anymore! Theyve just opened up an early dinner menu consisting of some of the freshest, most beautifully seasoned Mexican (San Luis Potosi region) entrees Ive had in Seattle. Open til 9pm Mon-Sat, close at 3pm on Sunday. Breakfast still served all the time. Carne Asada, Tres Leches Cake, handmade chips & tortillas, homemade tomatillo jalapeno salsa, beautifully roasted vegetables, succulent meats, vegetarian options... amazing contrast to diner food.

My wife and I made the Varsity a daily morning stop during our stay in Seattle. Great diner breakfast; good coffee, good food, good service, good prices, great location. Located at the bottom of Wallingford Ave, its a short walk to Gas Works Park, a slightly longer but still short walk to the Fremont Troll, and near bus stops that will take you wherever you need to go in Seattle. I highly reccomend if you want a quality, quick breakfast.
