A great spot that more than lives up to its namesake with exquisite made-from-scratch chocolates in creative flavor combinations (lavender-lemonade or raspberry habanero bonbons, anyone?). Irresistible pastries (the scones here basically ruined all other scones for me) and the best espresso on the east side. Good savory options on offer for appetizers, salads, quiche, soups, etc. The whole thing capped off with classy ambience and impeccable, friendly customer service. Perfect for a romantic date night, a coffee stop, a nice lunch break, or just a quick pop-in before your movie starts... Id give this place a sixth star if I could.

They had me at chocolate and wine! Wanted to try this place out for a few months now and made my way there last night. The food was amazing. Totally unique and satisfying without going overboard and landing on the side of bizarre like other places. Wonderful wine. Generous portions. I didnt want an all red flight so after asking what I like from a wine the server made up my own unique flight and I loved it!! The chocolates were delicious and all handmade. Very clean and relaxed setting. The service was top notch. They were attentive but didnt hover. Overall an awesome dining experience and I will absolutely go back!!

Rarely does my wife utter the words "Instant 5 stars" when leaving an establishment. We stopped in after lunch across the street, while on our way to the airport to head home. After briefly chatting with the owner she knew we were wrapping up our vacation and leaving town. But she still offered various free samples. Most places dont seem to have that approach, but while we may not ever be back in that area I can certainly recommend it to others. The chocolates were excellent and I has happy to find a few spicy candies, like Chipotle and Habanero.

Its amazing how you can find some of the best places tucked away between this or that. The thing that caught my attention about this place was "chocolate and wine". The thing that will keep me coming back is its intimate atmosphere and very personal service. This owner operated business does not try to be what its not. It is not all over the map. They keep the plates small and simple and the conversation and wine flowing. If you are looking for a place that will remember your name and welcome you, this is it

Each piece of handmade chocolate is exceptional, but I think the Dulce De Leche is pure heaven. I stop in on the way to the Library, while waiting for a prescription at Bartells or after dinner at Yeas wok. Great neighborhood shop.Great chocolates, wine and pastries. This shop is a necessary indulgence!
